Appearance
Spatan appears to be in his early 30's. He's a large rough looking, tatooed individual who, while not ugly, could hardly be called attractive. He tends to wear his Eufiber when in public, shaping it into whatever form suits the situation. his hair is black and buzzed down to mere stubble. His eyes are slate grey.

Known Powers
Spartan has control over molecular structures; primarily his own but with some ability to affect the structures of other people and objects. He can shift his molecular state to become intangible and with a touch and concentration he can affect other people and objects in the same way. He is also capable of altering both is shape and his molecular make-up. Spartan has also shown the ability alter the shape of non-living material although it is a fairly crude and rarely used skill.

Spartan has shown superhuman levels of strength, dexterity and resiliance. he is capable of flexing his limbs out to roughly 2 meters, is as stealthy and light footed as a cat and can adapt to any environmental conditions.

History

Tim's early life was a typical story of poor, underprivledged youth gone wrong. Never doing well in school despite his over average intelligence, Tim dropped out at age 14. Within 2 yars he was what the law considered a "career criminal" primarily focusing on car theft and breaking & entering just like his older brother.

At the age of 18, Tim was caught in a botched B&E that ended in a man's death and he was sentanced to 10 years. While the first couple of years were the worst, eventually Tim found his niche and life fell into the predictable monaotony of prison life.

In January of 2004 a riot erupted in Kingston Prison due to ever worsening conditions. During the riot Tim erupted when attacked by a gang of his enemies and violently erupted. Being smart enought to know he's be hunted down by other nova's if he walked out of prison, Tim went back to his cell to wait out the riot.

After a swift but furious legal battle, Tim was transfered into the custody of Project: Utopia. It was determined that he would stay in a Utopia holding cell on a strict regiment of Mox to restrict access to his powers. He was allowed only 1 hour a day off the Mox to practice with his powers under the strictest of supervision. He was given the offer of more time off the mox if he would be willing to join Utopia after his sentance was up but he flatly refused. He was released in 2005.

Upon his release, Tim immediatly went to the nearest DeVries office and signed himself up. After afew brief weeks of training, he was sent to Superimpose to determine his Elite identity. Things did not go so well however and athere was an altercation which resulted in Bruce Savauge getting hospitalized and Tim getting banned for life from Superinpose. The details have always remained sketchy but suffice to say the encounter did nothing to improve tim's standing with Bruce's friends and allies (which includes pretty much every Elite treated well by the designer).

Since the Superimpose incident, Tim has effectively been the lowest man on the DeVries/DVNTS totem pole, pulling what are considered the crappiest and lowest paying jobs. For the time being, Tim is content to do these jobs without complaint in an attempt redeem himself in the eyes of DeVries and his fellow Elites and earn his stripes.
