Hell, that's almost downright touching. Glad to hear that your grievous injuries notwithstanding, it wasn't too terrible experience, and I'm glad to see you up and about again. A good half the fellow EMTs I know are all micks, too, myself included, so it stands to reason. All in all, I like to think you couldn't have been in better hands. Well, except maybe in Boston. wink

Hey folks, someone at the clinic I'm at pointed me at this board, and now that I'm verified as a nova - as if I needed to be - I can say hello.

So, hello. smile

Do you really look like a fox? Or are you having fun with your avatar, given your name?

Yeah, someone gave me the nickname at the clinic. I hated it at first, but the alternative is Foxy Roxy and I think I'll take 'Vixen.'

And yep, that's me. Fur and snout and tails and all.

Hey Vixen. I just got rid of my old avvie because it had paws and a tail and people were getting confused. I only had it because my last name is Fox. I like yours though, that's pretty cool. Welcome to the boards.

Speaking of Avvies, this pic is a little better, but it's still not one I'm really happy with. I may update it again if I get someone to take a better pic for me.

Sort of like a fox, but... Foxes only have one tail. That, of course, raises tons of questions in my mind, but I'll try to restrain myself and not bombard you with them. smile

(By the way? You are one of the coolest looking novas I've ever seen.)

So. Am I supposed to say something here or what?

Folks on the job call me Spartan. I work for DeVries.

I wasn't gonna even bother coming here but after seeing The Vile One posting here I figured why the fuck not?

I was just saying there was a mythological precedent, as with me.

Nice to meet you, Spartan. Are you call that because you kick people into pits while wearing a cape and diaper that shows off your oiled, sepia-filtered well-toned muscles? And if so can I have a video?

Maverick actually hit the nail on the head, in a way. No, kitsunes aren't real, but I can testify to seeing at least one fox with three tails up close and personal. I'm pretty sure she wasn't a magical pixie-dust spirit fox, though.

Nah, it's more to do with the meaning of the word. An old buddy's kid suggested it and I liked the sound of it. It was better that anything Savauge came up with.

And here I was going to guess it was because you have sex with sweaty, Greek men and hate Iranians.

There is a state (I'll not mention which one) where the age consent is 16, which seems like no big deal until you look deeper into the state laws...

If she's a virgin, it drops to 12.

That's why I didn't say what state. Last thing I need is this gaggle of drama vultures blamning me when you knock up a 6th grade class.

Watching two nova men have sex, or watching
