From past experience with using your Charisma you know that a major change of mind like this will not last, once you are no longer in his presence he will begin to rethink his decision to turn traitor to his group and eventually will switch back, it may be a hour after you leave, a day, or a week, but it will happen unless you do more than just use your charisma. You will have to give him real reasons to change sides permanently.

Joani's memories really are very fuzzy she's not going to be able to give you much detail at all.

Looks like Andrew and I posted at roughly the same time. I was responding to Joani's. I don't have time to edit mine to reflect that so I won't. Sorry.

The scene is still "open" - so we can still decide which plan to follow.

I'm seriously lerry of any plan that put Joani within jumping range of Ms. X. Cody and Omar are probably not jumpable, but they also aren't prime targets (and aren't there for that matter).

If Joani gets jumped, we could find ourselves in a quantum battle in the middle of a major city. Or she could just fly away. A common power for these body jumpers appears to be boost. It's easy to forget we might end up facing two sets of quantum abilities, and Joani with Boost(Str) isn't someone I want to face.

Steve's plan has the bonus that if it goes bad then the worst thing that happens is the bad guy gets away. No quantum battles, no PCs with their bodies stolen. We have to stay on guard and Joani needs to learn Psi-Shield, but that's it.

Tell you what, call down to the front desk and tell them you'll be in your room practicing your lines for the next few days and you'll want full meal carts sent up every four hours. With the nova hunger for food, this should be normal when you're eatting in your room.

Leave all the lights in your place on, shut the door to your bedroom, and we can port in every now and then when the room is empty and empty the cart.

Then we teleport out. Sooner or later she will walk in with a cart full of food, and check out your room looking for you.
