The small black wire frame chair warming in the morning sun was pulled away from the table, scrapping against the cement as Daniel settled into it. With a sigh he raised the cup of starbucks to his lips, 'Venti Caramel Machiatto x2 expresso' the usual. Watching Deadwood come to life as much as any relic of the past turned cheap tourist town could come to life he figured. Still, the towns modern nature never stopped him from passing through to quench his caffeine addiction.

The outdoor chairs sat along the front of the shop and allowed him a decent view of the street. People watching still entertained him that much did not change when the small nuclear reactor in his head cycled up. The thing that changed was how he watched. What he could see, or feel about it. Even scents added to his overall amusement. As a car passed full of the family road trip. Two parents, three kids and the best part was they did seem to actually be enjoying themselves. Wakinyan took a sip of from his cup and rested it on the wire frame table that matched the chairs around it.

It was then that the hairs on his neck stood on end. It was like knowing the storm was coming but couldn't see it just yet. For a moment he considered just leaving. It wasn't like he could not get away. But then he would know she won and he wasn't about to let her win. So instead he waited patiently for her to show herself. The first sign was the click of wheels crossing breaks in the sidewalk pavement. Rollerblades, The constant tone of the rolling wheels was close then with a grind they pulled up just short of the table he sat at.

"So." The feminine voice broke the drone of traffic moving slowly down the street. "How are you doing this morning Wakinyan?" He could only look in the direction he assumed she was in and to his relief and then growing dread she materialized before him as if she had been hidden behind the curtain of the world and decided to step onto the stage.

"I'm fine Contrary." He muttered taking a long drink from the white cup purposely examining the plastic lid of the cup longer than he really needed to.

The Contrary was Penny, a stunningly beautiful Cherokee girl, younger than Daniel by almost two years. Her short black as night hair was tousled and unkempt. Her curved yet athletic build was complemented with a outrageous ensemble today that was particularly eye catching. Low slung Daisy dukes unbuttoned barely zipped and tattered to the point that you would figure you would see something but always just far enough away to avoid seeing 'the goods'. Her Tshirt had suffered a simlar beating, the familiar 'Wagon Burner' print was torn to reveal her toned dark stomach and it climbed so high that the round lower curve of her breasts were slightly exposed. The bone choker around her neck with turquoise links were a testament to her heritage she simply did not require but still it added to the her exotic allure. Even the roller blades seemed to enhance her overall look even if he couldn't place why it did so. Perhaps because she slowly turned in place on them to display herself totally to him, luring him a little further into the webs.

It could be easily dismissed as slutty but in fact it was perfectly tactical. A deliberate look and Daniel knew it but it didn't stop him gawking and it was exactly what she wanted. Manipulation started on cue and the sad thing is he knew but it didn't seem to make a difference.

It was kick off and Coyote already ran it back for a touchdown.
