So this is a story, all about how
My life got flipped, turned upside down
And I'd like to take a moment just to clear up the haze
This is how I became, Directive Agent Dayes!

In Washington D.C. born and raised!
The Directive was where I spent most of my days.
Chillin' out, relaxin', spyin' on some fools
With laser mikes and bugs and all kindsa tools

When a guy name Longbow, who was up to no good!
Started makin' trouble in my neighborhood!
I got in one little fight and my node went 'pop,'
They said "So now that you're a nova we're training you in ops!"

I'm smarter and faster, and a quantum mirror!
Got the powers of another nova when they come near.
If anything I thought this wasn't half-shitty
But they said "Dude, forget it - you're off to the City!"

I came out of my training 'round March of '09
After something that I'll tell you 'bout at some other time,
But suffice it to say, it earnt me lots of praise
Now I'm bustin' down doors as Agent Nathan Dayes!
