no, don't think so. The melding mechanically combines the dice pools of two telepaths, I just don't see it having any mechanical effect with PL. From an RP perspective perhaps, but not mechanically.

So Im hoping Cody gets to interrogate the new prisoners when we get them. Even without telepathy he is rediculous with mundane hypnosis, interrogation and rapport and I would love a chance to do things the old fashioned way.

The fiction isn't private, and I'd meant to post more but I kinda ran out of creative steam as I've been planning my LARP stuff for this weekend (which went awesome, so I'm all happy tonight), and working on my rpg again. I know Cody had mentioned wanting to post in the fiction as well, so have at and we'll see where it leads.

Cool cool - I play LARP, too. We've got real castles in Germany which is really awesome. There are two huge areas which LARPers regularly use since its almost completely preserved including catacombs... makes for awesome Dungeons.

the president is staying aboard ship and doesn't plan to leave at the moment. He also doesn't plan to leave when the psions are brought aboard, but that hasn't been discussed yet. He feels much safer here with you guys than he would on Earth at the moment.

I'm having trouble deciding what to do as well. You guys have been uncovering the plot nicely, and I'm tempted to hand you the other Proxies so that we can move on to the alien encounter, but then again, I don't want to make this too easy on you, or just give too much without making you work for it; that way leads to boredom.

Been debating it since yesterday. Fear not, however, I will only debate what to do for so long before I just post and let things fall where they may.

If you have a preference feel free to speak up. I'm fine with skipping ahead a bit or going into more depth with the conspiracy. Either way works for me, but I want you guys to get out of the story what most interests you.

I heard Cody wanted to do it "the old fashioned way". I suppose drugging and dampening them would be the safest way. Omar and I would be around in case some muscles are needed. I'll be staying with the President as promised, so just call on me in case of an emergency.

We damp them, we drug them, then we try the good cop / bad cop routine.

Well, we could dampen them and then Ulric could just talk to them. He's a likeable guy after all.

Adding Ulric as good cop is probably a very good idea, and Cody as bad cop. Cody has massive amounts of mega manip, and Ulric of mega Cha.

I am excited about the proxy story, and Kyria and i have also been cooking up our own little bonding ritual in preparation for the alien talks. I would have jumped into the alone thread actually but I figured that even with his new Mega Stamina, having had all his juice spent, and nearly getting telepathically creamed was enough for one evening and I sent him to bed...

So yeah, can we have a few more IC days of roleplay leading up to the alien encounter?
