You still playing a weather manipulator in the Novas at the End of the Universe Ulric?

Im not sure what I want actually. Cming up with a good concept for this game is even harder than Dead Rising...no NPCs...just us PCs. Im guessing later there will be alien allys and opposition and probably artifacts and mysteries to unsolve by exploring ruins but ...yeah its tricky...

Cool! Although given we've only talked about it here I bet alot of the mainstream OpNet folks who don't actively follow our game are unaware of the situation. I would be prepared if I were you for a rabble of compalints from the people already invested in one or another of the forums here. If thats the case it can just be a few of us and will probably end up more like a game.

Oh yeah and I won't be able to get to the IC tonight. Just got home from 4 hours of class and have a house guest coming over.

It's no problem if it ends up more like a tt game. It's supposed to be an experiment, and I certainly don't want people getting upset at the thought that they somehow have to play this one. Everyone has time constraints and disinterests. That's life.

I'm all kinds of interested in seeing it come up. If for no other reason than to see what else has been brought up. I remember hearing the grassroots basics a while back, I would be interested in seeing how it turns out.

If somebody could actually fill Andrew in IC with whatever important points he should know it would help me (the player) to respond and react appropriately, I've caught up but since Andrew wasn't present for any of the action since the intervention he currently knows nothing outside of Michael's condition.

Steve is going to look for other moles, specifically in the Prez's area. Basically it will be the same profile as before with the additions of what we've found out.

Sounds good Steve. Anyone else doing anyting in particular? Cody and Kyria are going to practice melding I assume.

Joani will stay with the President and protect him. She won't stray from his side unless he tells her to.

Ulric is going to step back and use his vast experience and knowledge of Bureaucracies to see were the Super-Psions might be, were they might strike next, and who they might use as pawns. Beyond that, he will remain close to the President as well, should he be needed.

Kyria will practice melding with Cody, but will also offer to try with Ulric, to see if any kind of useful link can be established so she at least would have the benefit of Ulric's experience when going and speaking with the Chromatics.

I'll second that.

Cody will work half the time with Kyria establishing rapport (He has Wits 5 mega 2 Rapport 5), and the other half he will work doggedly with the entire team towards tracking the psions (Including generous usage of Synergy and tactical Prodigy, as well as his extensive network of contacts).

barring anybody else needing Andrew's help he'll work on a drug to block a Psions access to his gifts - maybe he can create a way to dope up these guys so that we can actually deal with them.

Could we install a second psi-damper in Lorean?

I'm sure we could but the question is would it work? This guy was capable of blasting Mike after being drugged and under a damper. I think we should look for something to completely supress the brain's ability to use their abilities; these drugs exist for Novas, I'm sure I can come up with something for Psions.

Well nothing of the sort exists within Trinity and I had asked Fox about it a while back and got nothing so I am assuming no - if I'm wrong I feel embarrassed that we didn't try it out of Pop-cicle

Hmm, yeah, that's a point.

I suggest trying some of the "sanity" drugs, some of them make it hard to think.

And I can't remember if Psions get those extra three dots in Resistance that's part of the basic nova package.

The question is whether or not the effects are additive. If they are then the issue is one of getting enough of them and enough power.

Psions don't get the free End/Res dots -> Psion = Squishy human
