yeah, I had thought of taking them there at the very beginning of all this but we don't have a warper and the stuff would all be too heavy for Raider to carry. See the movie Armageddon for the issues of being on the surface of a comet. It wouldn't be a very stable platform on which to be doing delicate things like building a nuke. Plus, tunneling would take lots of time. Besides, if the missiles miss and we can find a warper, we can always retrieve them and use the warper to re-deploy them. Problem is that Raider doesn't trust Squiddy at all and believes he will take any opportunity to get his hands on a nuke and any warper we got right now would be on Squiddy's payroll. So, until Ash erupts, that's something that Raider would only do as a last resort if the missiles miss.

I should point out that I was kidding about Ash being a grav/warper with Psi-Shield.

As awesome as that'd be, it's a bit too tailored to the specific problems we're having right now to be valid.

"At the moment" meant hours or days. How long would it take you to re-build the nuke into something that would fit through the gate, A week?

That's true. Up to Bradford then. I don't know how long it would take to dismantle them and reassemble or even if he would deem that it is possible. If so I'm willing to edit my last post.

Sounds good. I think Raider would still launch most of the missiles now even if the option was available to monkey with them. Too much chance of something going wrong and not working on arrival. This way if they impact, they will detonate, and if they don't we'll still have time to consider other options like retrieving them and trying the direct deployment approach. He will do one though.

In the interests of full disclosure, I wish to make the following statement:

The scenario currently taking place in the game with Doug, Anna, Gregory and Ashley is the trigger event for Ash's eruption. Dr Bradford has, as such, handed me the reins for this event...which is not really a combat so much as a narrative device.

The events that take place, which I will shortly post, are an eruption event, and in no way indicative of the powerlevel (though are indicative of the powers) that Ash will exhibit once she's done popping.

Sorry to spoil a little, but I didn't want any misunderstandings or for anyone to think I was godmodding here.

that was intense and absolutely ok. Anna would've been shocked by the time combar really started. It was perfect as you did. She has pacifism and combat paralysis as flaws... so that pretty much was what she was capable of doing. I liked it.

So if Anna normally weighs 450 pounds she'd weigh 3,600. Gregory & Ash I'll assume both weigh 150, so combined they weigh 3,900. Converted into Kilos that's 1800 kg.

Nope. They had killed the guards at the actual building and were getting started on the recuperating wounded...but they hadn't gotten through them all yet.

Hee...I don't want to be too annoying about this, so I'll just say OOC that Ash has many dots of Dormancy, reflecting that on some level she 'rejects' these abilities.

That said, I won't make it a big plot point or anything. She'll be able to undorm at will.

Other than some Level 4+ powers, the only thing I know that can detect what a person's powers are is Quantum Attunement. With a hefty dose of Medicine added to the mix.

Since Gregory has one dot of intelligence and is 'Uneducated', his medical skills are nil.

And even QA can only identify powers that are being used, I believe...or that are permanant. When Ash is dormed, she's not channeling quantum energy, so I dunno if even QA would work then.

Would someone with dorm be able to suggest that she might be dormed? She is obviously not showing any aberrations.

I'm not the GM of course, but given the lightshow when she erupted, and the total lack of any quantum "effects" now, it might be a reasonable line of inquiry.
