I like mine too. What I dont like is that I cant increase my Quantum anymore. So I will likely reduce my taint back down to 3.

Increasing Quantum is over rated.

Also keep in mind that the cure doesn't have to be instantaneous. It can take time. In other words, you can take the cure and buy the stuff off as you go. Of course, once you do take the cure you can never gain any further taint.

Check me on this, if Steve takes the cure he'll never be able to hit Q5?

No, you will be able to increase your quantum, you will just have to pay a little more for it.

Maybe from where you're at with Q1 but Im at Q3. Q6 has some nice features like buying extras without increasing cost...

The system and Fox and I put together will allow for progression of Quantum beyond 4 and Node beyond 3, there will be a flat cost added to those dots purchased (essentially you have to buy off the taint incurred when you buy the power).

All will be revealed once Andrew puts the final pieces in place.

I think Cody has okay Mega Int as well as maxed Int and intrusion as well. We could use the rules for combining successes.

Just as a reminder for those who have been here before in the alternate timeline... the Proteus facility is actually only accessible from the top floor of the building via an elevator that has no stops in between. In other words there is no ground floor access to the sub-basement.

Sky, you might want to edit that post. The hidden access to the elevator is on the top floor of the building, there is no access at all from the ground floor short of punching a hole in the 2 feet of reienforced concrete elevator shaft.

Basically, give me some details about how what you all are doing in terms of who is where and how you proceed from the top of the elevator.

Steve intends to let Joani, Omar, & Cody go first. I assume Omar or Joani will rip the roof off the elevator and we'll send someone in.

If there is still hesitation, Joani would take head. She thinks that she is more expandable than Andrew (he is the one working on the cure). Just in case - she won't touch the floor, instead she opts to float a few inches above the floor maintaining the power as needed.

If it weren't for the whole "he goes nuts when he does this and we (and he) can't tell which is the original" I'd go for that.

that's about the same I thought, besides Joani is used to lead missions (even though we never played out that ICly). But I don't want to argue this. If Andrew wants to do his clone thing he can, just don't expect me to think it's a good idea.
