IMHO most or all of us are needed just to keep this running. Adaptability is only 5 or 6 experience, and if you *have* to pay for it just to stay functional (and you do) I've no sympathy at all. We have the time, modivation, resources, and big heaps of experience to pay for it. For that matter, given our resources if someone *truely* doesn't want to pay for adapt he could probably arrange a visit to a temporal manip to be made young.

Ok - lets see if I get everything put together. It was kinda hard to get all the amazing stuff that Supes has for powers. Fortunately lots of those are enhancements - downside - loads of Megas are necessary to get those. I do believe to have covered almost all bases though. Got some Mega-App. with the Mrs. Nobody enhancement in case of going "private" and keeping a "normal" life among baselines. (Amazing what some glasses and a braid can do) Hyperhearing, EM-Vision and Adaptability of course, too. Then finally Superbreath represented as Immobilize with a freezing effect. I was thinking of a Mega-Str. Enh. like Thunderclap only working as Superbreath (couldn't afford it though, but keeping it in mind as future option) Raised my Inv. (physical) Raised my Quantum and got me some Psychic Shielding - hope thats ok. Backgroundswise I went with Influence and Fame - Allthough I believe that Backing is more appropriate than Influence. I bought both at full costs since I'm planing on staying on Earth for the time jump (i. e. not making the jump but actually living through the years). Those points maybe wasted on a different Timeline, but I'm ok with that - will rebuild my reputation as needed as I go along. -------------------- Joani will stay on earth for the time jump since she believes she has some catching up to do. Even though she only lost one year it feels more like an entire life to her and she wants to fill that void. Her sense of responsibility also is a high motivator for her to stay and help. Depending on how Ulric plans his future, she would try to build a second Identity as his secretary, bodyguard or maybe even fiancee (he mentioned something of the pubic already thinking he may be gay - If he asked her to remedy that picture of him she would oblige.) Of course she will put all her efforts in representing the Paragons and respond to immediate threats. She'll be all around the world not only using her powers to help humanity but also trying to be a rolemodel for earths people. Something they have to look up to and strive for. She'll be supporting welfare events and organisations but keeps out of political involvement. Basically she pursues the goals we set up for the Paragons. I'll be adding more after your feedback

IMHO *one* of us needs to buy Scientific Prodigy. This sort of thing isn't Steve's strong suit, but it does fall within his "generalist" suite (i.e. 3 dots in science & engineering, 2 in m-int). I've delibrately left 3 nova points out of my calculations so I can pick it up if you don't, but if you're going to pick it up I'll do something else. I was planning on something along those lines, I'll let you know once I work out my own expenditures. Re: Mega-Int It's a good thing I was planning to buy some anyways otherwise I'd be the dumbest smart guy in the room, sheesh. If Fox doesn't mind the suggestion maybe we oughta start the next chapter with a small fiction from each person that covers those 60 years and the changes they have on our PCs ... that way we could impart some level of drama into the passing of a human lifetime (or at least a good chunk of one). thoughts?

Character Fic: I've got to agree with Andrew. I think a character Fic from each of you would be very appropriate. I won't make it a requirement, but given that we are jumping from 1935 forward to 2000 that's a lot of time unaccounted for. Many many things could happen with your characters in that time. This goes even more so for anyone that is planning to have relationships. Having something for the rest of us to read that spells out what happened would help greatly.
Lorean: I should probably also add when mentioning that, Lorean is a special case when it comes to relationships; physical Lorean that is. She just doesn't seem to be wired for having monogamous relationships, not that she is promiscuous either understand. It seems to be something in her basic makeup that prevents her from having any desire for a permanent relationship. If any of the crew want to court her during the downtime she would be open to it, but only under the understanding that it was a temporary paring and at most it would last no more than 10 years at a stretch. I know, how weird is that, right? But that is the way she is, and you guys would have realized that over the decades of downtime. Also, given her mega's and overall personality, people will find it very difficult to be jealous or hurt towards her or her partners, especially since they realize that whoever she might be with today, it will only be temporary.
RE: Appearance alteration Yes, you can use it to alter your 'apparent' age. If you are really 100 with the body and infirmities of a 100 year old, it will not change that fact although to others you may look like you are 30. Vice versa, if you have the body of a 30 year old, you can 'look' like you are 100, but you won't really be 100.
Jumping Forward: Is there anyone that plans to actually Jump forward? If so how far, and when?

Ya, Andrew is right. Relationships, children, over a 60 year period they should come up. We might be to a point where we need to consider NPC wives and children. I think Steve would ask Joani out after she gets settled. Lorean too for that matter. RE: Children Steve's in an interesting position there, he did take the sterility drugs (IC I couldn't see a reason not to) so he should be sterile and he thinks he is. However Hammersmith could be read as a reeruption, so it's possible at least in theory that the damage could have been undone without him knowing.

Children?!?!?! ... well
I'm trying to think about what a wedding would be like for Ulric and Joani - say around 1950. The First Couple of the World. The former President of the League. The head of the Paragons. People would be wondering what their kids would be like, were would they live, and who would get invites.
I think Joani and I have some PMing to do.
