Fox - Raider lacks a proper measurement of distance to the comet, that is unless a nova can tell just how far he teleported each time? The problem is that in space there is little to give you proper perspective.

Still between mega Int and Mega Perception you can guess we're talking about at most 6 months.

If the going gets tough Anna will spent a WP to engage in Combat - but only if Doug, Raider or Gregory gets hurt/attacked. Else she'll be defending herself and if possible Doug and Raider.

Question to your post - is the balcony inside or outside of the Dome?

ok, I'm slowly getting confused. So we're inside the Tower on a balcony and outside is gunfighting etc.?

The Tower (capital T) is/was an old corporate headquarters type office building. It had a huge lobby with a second level that was basically a balcony looking out the windows of the front of the building and down into the entry level of the lobby. The glass has since been covered over on the inside with the heavy fortifications I described and the interior while repaired for functionality has been left alone cosmetically. Which is why it is dark and bare.

Small RL-Update - I'm going to move to a new appartment on Sat. 17th. My online presence will be greatly reduced from today till then since I got several things to do in preparation for the move.

I try to be around at least once a day before I go to bed and keep myself updated. But posting will be scarce/just once per day probably. After the weekend I hope to resume my usual online presence on the boards. Thank you for your patience.

Bradford, can you give me as much detail as possible on what they are planning to do? I'm sure Raider would know how to respond, but without more detail, I'm not sure what to add to what's going on.

Oh, and apart from details on their plan Raider will try and find out the following:
Location of other base
Location of the missiles
Location and details about the 'other ship'
List of aberrants and their powers involved
Info on KB and Raider's Father
Anything I can find out about James himself. His lair, allies, powers, anything.

This is going to take me a bit to get everything together, similarly it will take some time for Raider to get all of this. I suggest that Anna and Courier tell me what they want to do (if anything) and I will jump ahead a several hours.

Ashley and Gregory, feel free to move at your own pace. At the moment I'm waiting to see where all you PCs are going before I commit to a plan to bring both groups together again

Right now Ash is trying to bamboozle Greg into getting her people free...she sorta kinda believes he may be telling the truth about the comet, but that's sort of like worrying about lung cancer from smoking when you have a bullet wound. Right now they've got much more immediate problems.

That said, her intention is pretty simple. If the aberrants are trying to stop the comet, they must fear it. Fear is a weapon. Thus, the comet is a weapon. Her plan is ultimately to threaten to disrupt any and every attempt to stop the comet...unless her demands are met. Said demands being the release of slaves and so on.

She has no idea if she can follow through on that threat, but hopes that the aberrants won't be willing to risk it.

Anna is going to remain close with Doug and Raider - the question is - how long will this take/how long is she cut off from direct sunlight... she still has a dependency...

Doug is going to stay close and make sure Raider's back doesn't grow any daggers.

Working my my next update. I'd like to allow Gregory and Ashley to finish up their conversation and plans (which may include interaction from Courier et al.) So I may postpone until Monday. Continue as you are and I will get the update out when I think it best fits the story (rather than having a temporal rift mid thread)

Also FYI, I will be experiencing extended away from the internet time over Memorial Day weekend and the weekend following (vacation) I'll do what I can to keep you guys moving but if I fail you know why. I'll be back to normal routine June 4th.

I am sorry, Gregory...even to me, Ash's attitude only makes sense in the context of her character's skewed ideas and world knowledge...not to mention a state of lengthy crisis and desperation. I promise she has a nice side too.
