We all have to sort through hormones and social dramas on our own- let him make his mistakes. If he falls on his face, no one twisted his arm to make him stumble. If he succeeds, she's put in her place, and hopefully he realizes what a miserable mindset those manipulations require. Either way, lesson's learned.

B) She views you as a friend and her use of you has been more a subconcious act of confused emotions more than anything else. You are her "safe" buddy who she finds comfort with. Sure, she abuses your emotions, but its not on purpose.

You CHOOSE to stay with her for the last 3 freaking years. You gave her your emotional state to abuse. She didn't steal anything from you that you weren't willing to part with. This is just petty vengeance.

...Or, she thinks it's okay to treat people like dirt. We don't know, and can't know. It's up to him to make these decisions and, in the end, he will. He'll do whatever it is he wants to do.

As far as exposing character flaws and weaknesses? This is the OpNet. He's as free to say what he pleases as you are.

A) yes, I am. If she doesn't face what she's done she can't ever be a better person and not do it to someone else in the future.

B) Doesn't matter whether it's on purpose or not, it was done, and she'd keep right on doing it forever if I let her. That's not right and needs to be changed.

I'm not saying don't do it kid. Just make sure it's everything you wanted it to be. You've said it yourself that this girl doesn't even know how you feel about her. You've yet to give her a scenario that includes her knowing the truth. Perhaps she thinks you're okay with the idea of making out and being more 'than friends, less than lovers'.

How do you know? You're not even man enough to drop the truth on her before you resort to the less savory option of petty jealousy and heart breaking.

Vengeance is good, don't get me wrong. We all need a little bit of it from time to time. Get back at a bully, one-up a co-worker, it healthy for us to 'get back' at people on occasion.

Hey guys. Just thought I'd drop a line and tell you all how it turned out. Jael came down and we had a great time. She helped me get some new clothes so I could look my best for the occasion and we just hung out mostly. I still haven't really confronted Alice or anything, but Jael made her turn all green with jealousy just by being there. It was sweet.

Even better than that I learned to fly!!! Been having such a blast at it you wouldn't believe. Course I also got grounded for a few days, but it was all worth it and I've gotten the closure I was looking for. Satisfaction feels good.

I don't think what I did was wrong. If you think that makes me a bad person, then I'm sorry you feel that way. If I were treating her like dirt, or pretending to her that she had a chance to get together with me then dumping her for another girl, and doing it over and over again, that would maybe make me a bad person, but to make her jealous is about the least possible thing and really doesn't even register on my evil-o-meter.
