In any case, yes Cody is playing the silent "muscle" at the moment. He is also projecting the idea that *he* is the one responsible for the dampening of the proxies psi-powers, sort of like the "mute" Haitan from Heroes (And for the record I thought of Cody first... . Thus projecting an aura that he is more powerful than he already is.

He isn't just playing a role however. He is carefully observing the subject, using rapport to accurately assess what is going on beneath the surface and read through his "tells." In addition Lie Detector will be used, as well as Manipulation's passive ability to tell when someone is bullshitting you, since Cody knows that simple detection of untruths is a slippery slope for a clever manipulator.

Cody is perfectly willing to let nice guy take stage and see if he can get the perp to come clean. If so then no problem, but if it doesnt work or the guy tries any funny buisness, he will let Ulric give the floor to him and I will take the interrogation to the next level.

Good to know. Cody is getting that this guy is willing to cut a deal. Ulric did an excellent job of convincing him that the game was up, beat him by 4 successes. He is an uber psion and all, but he's still limited to mortal attributes and the fact that you guys have him completely damped has convinced him the game is over. He just wants to get out of it what he can. He's forgetting for the moment the lesson of Benedict Arnold. He was a good general, but even the British didn't trust him or treat him well after his betrayal.
