OK we've got a completed character and I'll be tossing him into the mix soon enough. ANother player is working on a PC as well that will bring us up to 5 players again. I may take on a 6th if we get any more intrest.

I also edited the old Char Gen thread into a thread specifically for rules and setting questions. Please ask those there so that they don't get lost in this thread.

Correction I have 2 more people interested so we may yet get up to 6 players.

Quick question for my character background.

Are there are coastal or wetland habitations relatively near where new PC's will be introduced? And by relatively, I only mean 'sorta.' The concept I'm working on is an Explorer nature, and thus can be expected to range out a ways from home...

Well there are certainly some, none the PCs have yet to visit and so I have not provided information for them. Alternatively there is Goodwood, which is in present day Nova Scotia, the PCs have been there a couple of times, it's only a few miles from the ocean and if you are looking at a in-game eruption that could work. Or I can work with you to create a true seacoast town closer to Newborough.

Hmm. Tellya what. I'll write her history in fairly general terms, and then once you know what the shape of it is, we can either be happy with it as is, or work out more specifics.

OK I've got two PCs ready to go and am working with two others to see who makes the cut. In the meantime I'm going to start a companion peice for the new players so that I can get a feel for their characters and their posting style. Gregory, Courier, and Raider please continue on and I'll merge the new players in with you as I see fit.

Sebastian and Calypso please go ahead a post an publically known information about yourselves in the players thread including appearance and personality. Expect the first post in your intro chapter sometime this morning.

Chapter 2.5 is up, Chapter 3 is going to be a long one and so the new characters will likely be introduced before it ends (thus the 2.5). Timewise that chapter is beginning at the same instant that Chapter 1 did.

I presume we can start posting in Chapter 2.5?

OK Sebastian and Seven feel free to post your character descriptions into the "Characters" thread for the rest of the players to see. Calypso will arrive on the scene in a little bit being the one with the overall slowest movement. Seven and Sebastian both know the other is there but neither is exactly sure where the other is.

I should note that Seven has yet to active her own invisibility.

Both characters have made sufficient rolls to detect each others prescences by non-visual means. Calypso is soon to arrive as well (my next posting)

Seven botched her awareness roll and lost sight of Sebastian who also rolled well enough to finally see Seven.

Doug is interested in Gregory's idea but won't respond to it until after the fly-bye.

Just a quick note to everyone: I have my two week drill with the Army Reserves, starting June 9th. I will most likely not have net acccess. I will be back on the 23rd of June. I would like Dr. B to run Gregory in my absence.

That's up to Calypso, she could easily be directing the water out of the crater and away from it as she washes the object clean. The rain itself is not accumulating fast enough to counter the speed at which the earth is taking the rain up.

I'm gonna PM Sebastian's player and find out where he's at, in the mean time until I have something to arbitrate or a specific post to make I'm leaving it up to you players.

Calypso is making sure the soil doesn't get too muddy to walk on, either spreading it out to the sides, or pushing it farther down into the ground. She doesn't mind getting wet, but muddy? Ew.
