Sky- Not messing with anyone, just pointing out OOC that the man called Max has introduced himself as Maximilian Jones, and only Nathan knows that he is Max Mercer, but everyone is calling him Maxwell, or Mercer... I don't mind the mistake, I just want to be clear that to everyone in the room except Nathan, this is an Aeon researcher named Maximilian Jones.

I didn't see where anyone has referred to him as anything other than Max, or Maximilian.

No one called him Maxwell in-character. There are some posts where he's referred to as Maxwell in a description, like:

Titan goes over to Maxwell and says, "Maximillian Jones, you make me laugh out loud. Roffle!"

But no one's actually verbalized it, or even put it in their IC inner monologue.

Hair-splitting. Again, I'm not just being critical for criticism's sake. If you want to describe him a Eric the Monkey-Boy, I guess that's up to you. But I just wanted to remind everyone that as far as your character knows (with the barely possible exception of Fang), he is Maximilian Jones, Aeon Researcher. And again again, I only mention it to head off the situation where someone says something like, "Well, you're from the past, what was life like in the twenties?" and I have to lay the smackdown.

Some, like Michael Peters, just edited their post to say Maximilian. I don't demand that, cause really, who cares, right? (But thanks, Mike) Just making sure that there are no avoidable continuity errors. Wasn't intended to cause a stink, promise.

It may also seem like I left you with nothing to work with, I looked it over and it was difficult to leave open ended. With the internals done (and they kicked ass by the way, great work), you could assume the roles of his immediate family and the Doctor who is suspicious of the young, innocent, ball of buttery goodness that is Devin.

At any rate if you need me to make a change that you feel will make it more open ended, lemme know. Or just continue on down along that long lonely road of looking for vile, despicable things to do to PCs.

Hmm... somehow I'd gotten the impression that we'd spent longer in the clinic than we did.

2 weeks, that's all. And I kind of regret skipping the two weeks, just for the sake of getting there. Might have been fun to do the whole thing straight through, although it would just now be March 26... and you guys would be screaming for my head!

At first it was just going to be a cleaned up version of our origin stories... but it's turned into a sourcebook for running a game beginning at N Day. And yeah it would suck if people keep calling his name at every hour of the day. Though I would guess he can hear them so he can probably tell which ones are the kid pranks and which ones are the randy soccer moms...

I was under the impression that the calls are maximum 8 hrs apart. Practically the same day.

Well once we figure that part out, we need to figure out how this one humble player is going to write all of it, as well as figureing out how, ICly, TO is able to take in, sort and prioritize all of the calls he is getting.

It was something special Titan just gave me for free. It reminds me of a "power" from the MArvel Super Heroes RPG called 'Troubleseeker.' Basically the powers that be teleport you to wherever you are needed. Somehow the power knows to only give you what you can handle but its still as much of a curse as it is a blessing...

Titan- In your thread, it is the day before the Fiat Lux thread. I suggest, if you want to take part in the FL storyline, that you just post in both for a while. Then, just make sure that your thread catches up to a point in time when you leave for London. I will help with that. If you *don't* want to take part in the FL storyline, just say so here, and we will continue without you. No sweat.

I'll be on and off for the next couple of days till I get back to my regular work rotuine on the 2 of Aug. Hopefully things won't get to out off hand before that.

nathan, i am going to have to ask you to edit your post for both IC and OOC reasons. IC, its a combat action to touch someone and copy their powers and OOC I am not ready to reveal the source of the Titans powers. I consider it to be somewhat rude that you didn't ask. Also if you did ask and I did aprove, the effect would be different than just being covered in goop...

Yeah...having read further down I am pretty pissed off. It was NOT okay for you to "out" my character without permission...

Titan ST, I need to ask for a ruling on this one. I had not planned to "out" the source of my characters abilities for some time and am quite upset over it. Either the scene can be retconned so that Nathan doesn't copy his abilities (without permission between players or a combat roll to touch him..whatever happened to posting intent?), or i will retcon myself out of the scene.

Also...Titan did arrive by opeing the door...he was just insanely fast about doing so. He isn't a teleporter so there shouldnt be mention of him ass one either. He just flied really fast.

Please don't retcon the scene. There was some neat RP that went on there, by Nathan, Jedi and Fang. I'd hate to see it wiped away. Or, if a change does occur, can we somehow keep that neat RP? It was really enjoyable.

Personally, I think it should be left as is.

Novas have only been novas for two weeks so the full extent of quantum powers could not have possible be known at this point. Titan Omega would have very little idea what the results of Nathan touching him would be and there fore would have no reason to be dodging around the room frantically avoiding the touch of Nathan, and if he did it would just look silly and make others wonder what he's hiding.

Sometimes things don't go as planed, and since he wasn't in any danger premonition and intuition would have no reason to warn him otherwise.

So far it all looks fair. Why am I commenting when I'm not even participating? Simple, because I'm looking at it from a neutral point of view.

And I'm curious... how did a 12 foot tall giant of a man, who is most likely 5 feet in width hastily open the door, fit through it, and stand to greet everyone when the ceiling height is likely to be 9.75 feet?

No the goop is from his bodymorph. it dosent matter to me in this case that fair is fair. The way he posted it...no intent no checking with me, makes me feel it was if not downright mean then at least exploiting OOC knowledge.

So yeah, could it have happened? Yeah, but it was rude to out my character before I was ready and the way Nathan posted it makes me feel that was exactly his intent. Not cool with me. Like I said I am quite upset over the way it went down as it spoiled a big surprise i was waiting to share much later....*after* I had had the chance to enjoy being an unknown superman with the other PCs. So in that vein if Nathan tries to touch TO he isn't going to let him willingly. Full dodge and a WP if necessary. After all he has faced enough Metahumans now to know you cant just let them touch you, and he could have been summoned into a trap.
