Juno pops out of her seat at Michael's words.

"I can't fly, so I could use a lift," she says quickly, as if racing everyone else to say it first.

Jedi nodded to King, "That sounds reasonable. Worries me a bit if he doesn't notice physical damage, because that's about all I can do to him, although I can do quite a bit of that."

"We'll just have to see if he does or doesn't then. I plan on dealing out some serious hurt if I can" Jay says a bit excitedly.

"I suppose now we wait to see if Titan Omega shows."

There is a tremendous rush of air like a gale force wind and any loose papers or small articles are subsequently made airborne.



As the others recover from the sudden volatility of indoor atmospheric conditions they notice a massive mountain of a man, nearly 9 feet tall, encased in a skin tight costume of gleaming white, blue, and gold metal appeared standing next to Wei Fang. He is incredibly broad with thick cables of muscle and veins showing beneath perfectly smooth bronzed skin. Blond hair and unbelievable blue eyes gaze from a face supernaturally handsome, easily on par with Micahel's angelic features though in a much more chiseled masculine way. His cape billows in the wind that rushd in with him. For everyone watching it is unclear how he was able to even make it through the door but somehow he was able to accomplish it.

"I apologize for the delay. An oil tanker capsized off of Venezuela and needed to be set aright. Here now though. You must be Wei Fang. How can I help?"

He smiles and the room seems to light up.

Fang's never liked blondes that much. Oh... Nor is her head easily turned. ... my... She hasn't, since her eruption, been easily flustered. ... goodness!

He has Michael's unnatural good looks but with an extra draw of personality. Not only that, but his presence was physically overwhelming for the petite woman who was used to men only a little taller than her. Fang had to take a deep breath and fight back both a blush and the urge to scuttle away.

Instead, she leveled her formidable will and intellect on him, saying, "Thank you for coming, Titan Omega. I am Wei Fang, and we do need your help, badly." She quickly explained what had happened: Klaus, his kidnapping, her discovery of Ra's plans and the attack on Cairo. "We need to go fight him," Fang said, "now, while his army is elsewhere."

One pretty motherfucker...

Nathan walks up to Titan Omega, an eyebrow arched. Oh, what the hell. I'll need it no matter where I'm going.

"Can you hold still a sec, Titan? Thanks." Nathan taps him on the chest, using Quantum Imprint to copy Titan's abilities. (Up to four different stats, up to four dots each. Prioritizing protective and offensive and locomotive abilities.)

The effect is... noticeable, as Nathan is suddenly encased in goop.

[Edit] Noticeable, as in, Nathan coughs once, twice, then vomits a mucous-like goop. His eyes start streaming the same goo, and suddenly the goo spills out of his mouth. It flows from his nose, and drops of the stuff start popping out of Nathins forehead and arms, like sweat. The goo flows until he is encased in the stuff, forcing its way down his throat, into his stomach and lungs, drowning him. He feels it eating his skin. He starts to struggle, but he is completely encompassed by the stuff. He feels his body being digested, his self being incorporated into the stuff itself. To the outside, it looks as though a vaguely man shaped pillar of goop stands trembling and twitching in the middle of the floor. Inside, Nathan is gone. In his place is simply goo. Then, Nathan becomes aware of himself... AS the goo. He tries to find the Nathan-shape again. His 'body' begins to tremble. [/Edit]

The Titan in all his glory arrives on the scene with much fanfare. Jay doesn't know what to make of it, awe or indifference, either way he's glad that he showed up. "Great you showed, I thought we'd have to get the party started without you!"



"Man are werid things going to follow me around every where I go" King says throwing his hands in the air. "I'd make a killin' selling this stuff to the news."

This close and now paying attention, Juno is taken aback by the appearance of the Titan. He's literally larger than life, so towering and impressive that the perfection of his features only serve to make him even more distant. Like a statue, to be admired.

An impressive one though.

When Nathan goes to him and is engulfed in mucus, she frowns, snapped out of Titan's spell.

"Jesus...what the...is he okay?!"

Not knowing what else to do, she gets up out of her seat and starts jogging down to help.

The goop solidifies, changes color, changes shape... and looks like Nathan.

Specifically, what Nathan would look like if dialed up to eleven. Well muscled, a bit taller, stronger, tougher and more energetic. He looks down at his hands. "Shit yeah," booms his voice. "Shit yeah. I'm motherfucking Superman."

At first Jedi was less than pleased with the arrival of Titan Omega, but then he considered that the man might have more going for him than just muscles, he had arrived without opening the door. That alone could prove very useful in what they needed to do. Then the goop happened...

"Do I understand correctly that this man, Nathan, copies other's powers?" Seening the looks of conformation from the others he nodded to himself.

To the room in general, "Are we waiting for anyone else to arrive, or should we begin our assualt now that we are assembled?"

Fang's twice as flustered as before. She's not attracted to blondes. She's very attracted to red-headed men. She does blush, to her eternal mortification, and she feels her eyes widen in an automatic response to his proximity. Reaching out, she touched Nathan's arm, remarking softly, "Amazing... New People are truly incredible."

Her smile was a bit warmer than was professional; she didn't notice. Jedi's first question was missed, and her embarrassment over that was enough to snap her back to her senses. And Jedi's second question pierced her malaiase. "Are we waiting for anyone else to arrive, or should we begin our assualt now that we are assembled?"

"I say now," Fang said, swallowing tightly. "Before his army comes back." She looks at Michael. "Thoughts?"

Michael considers Wei Fang's words for a moment, then nods.

"Now. Ra's slaves were probably making a statement with this assasination and are not expecting hard resistance. I say we head out now. The only problem I see is logistics. I can carry one, maybe two to Egypt, but it will take me hours to get there, and by then they'll be long gone... Titan Omega however, can get there instantly."

He smiles at the huge man.

"I know that firsthand. So, how are we going to do this? Have Titan Omega teleport us, one at a time? How many can you take at once Omega?"

Jedi points to the quiet man sitting by himself, the one Max had referred to as Mbuto. "Why don't we just take Max up on his offer and let Mbuto transport us there, he knows where to send us even?"

Max looks questioningly at Mbuto. The silent black man nods.

Max turns to the group.

"Mbuto is ready if you are, to send you to the Black Pyramid where we found the scrolls."

"I'm ready."

Michaels face is set. His hands clench and unclench slowly.

Jay speaks loud and clear at the assembled Novus. "Alright folks when we go in we go hard and fast. Those of you who have ranged powers, feel free to fire away. Hopefully that will keep him busy enough that a few of use can get in close."

Looking over to Fang, "You stay back a bit okay? I don't want to see you get hurt. Were going to need that brain of yours to deal with the others."

"Ready as I'll ever be."

Don't get too confident there, Nathan. But... hell. This POWER. It's nuts.

More than a little jealous that she hasn't got any way to "power up" or any cool special effects, Juno gets up and goes over to join the others. Her expression is mulish; daring someone to suggest she not go.

"Lets do it," she says grimly.

The imposing Titan listens intently as Wei Fang briefs him on the situation. He seems genuinely distressed when they replay the news footage. For a moment the others think he is about to charge off immediatly and appear on the news feed, but then Wei Fang mentions the true mission to overtake Ra in his own tomb.

he asks a pointed question and Wei Fang gets the impression that it is not only his muscles that have been graced by the quantum genie. His mind seems to have been accelerated as well.

"Let me get this straight...you want us to barge into an ancient godlike being's sanctum...who is insubstantial to physical contact...where he has the home field advantage...and can mind control any one of us or worse? What makes you think he isn't going to "recruit" more of us and turn us against ourselves?"




"NO!" the Titan yells as nathan begins to disolve into goo. A few tense moments later and the mess resolves itslef into juicer-Nathan.

"How...?" the giant asks incredulously...



Titan Omega looks warily at the new and improved Nathan, looking down at his own hands, and trying to asses if he feels any different or worse for having just been copied. He also blushes a bit in chagrin when Wei Fang's demure yet endearing attention towards him is clearly usurped in favor of the shorter chameleonic nova.



"Teleport...? I can only fly..." he answers. "...and I can protect one other from the velocity and friction." he winks at SuperNathan. "You are going to enjoy that part..."



Then it is revealed that the mode of transportation is already present in the form of Mbuto...

"Yeah, knowing our destination is immeasurably helpful," he comments in a self depreciating manner.

Pulling her gaze from SuperNathan, Fang cleared her throat and stated, "I can disrupt powers. While he's trying to turn one, the rest will jump him, and I will work on actively disrupting his attempts to do so. Should he try to turn me first, I trust that the rest of you will do what you must to stop him, including rendering me unconscious. I'm hoping to find his heart though, and return it to him. I feel that with that, he may cease his activities, as that may trigger his delusions. But we'll see." She spread her hands. "That is our best answer."

With Fang's plan put into words, Max takes his place at Juno's side. At the looks that he gets, he shrugs.

"You might need me along. You never know. Do it, Mbuto."

The black man raises a hand, waves it across the group, and...


You are standing in sand up to your ankles, facing the face of a cliff. The sun hasn't dipped below the horizon just yet, but it is threatening to do so. Still, it's foully hot. Instant sweat pops out on Max's brow, and anyone else not able to adjust to the heat. He gestures to the cliff face in front of him, pointing at the hole in it's side.

The hole is square, like a miner's tunnel. It is half filled with sand. In front of the hole are scattered rocks, the smallest of which is about the size of a human head.

"Hmm. It was sealed, the last time I was here. Something burst out from the inside. That doesn't bode well," Max said, "On the other hand, we seem to be in the right place."

He peered into the cavern. It led down, into inky blackness.

"Michael?" Fang's voice is thready and tight already, her skin feeling taut as the heat constricted it. "Would you please go first, as I neglected to bring a light?"

She didn't ask him to hurry, despite the fact that it would be cooler in the cave. She didn't want to go in there herself, and wouldn't blame Michael if he was just as reluctant. She was so afraid, but she hit it as best she could, shivering despite the heat.

"I'll clear the passageway." offers Titan Omega. Flying ahead into the tunnel, he acts like a bulldozer, smashing aside the rocks and sand that would inhibit the movement of the others following.

"Christ man we were looking for something less dramatic." I knew this was going to happen with this guy. To concerned with being the center of attention.

"Well no point in waiting now, let's hope the big oaf didn't wake up the whole neighbourhood with all that racket."

Juno hikes over towards the passage, then looks at the others.

"Maybe I should go first," she offers. "I'm pretty hard to hurt, and if he...possesses me or whatever he does, at least I probably can't hurt any of you."

Michael raises his hand to his brow and wipes away the sweat starting to bead there.

Egypt. Right. Hot. Way to think ahead, Mike.

He watches Titan Omega barrel into the cliffside and shakes his head. So much for a tactical deployment.



"No problem Fang."

He holds up his hand and his body begins to glow with the golden light that has become his signature.

"Juno, Jay, you both stay with me. 'Uber'Nathan, Jedi, walk with Fang a few paces behind. We need fighters with her, and to watch our backs."

((Bioluminescene roll, 40 minutes of light))

Juno nods and takes a place at Michael's right side, cracking her knuckles and trying to look tough. She manages to even pull it off...in a cute, tomboyish sort of way. When Michael moves, she stays with him.

When they first arrived Jedi immediately burst out in a heavy sweat. He hated hot weather! The sweat only lasted a moment though as it dried almost as fast as it appeared in the extremely dry climate of the desert. Luckily his nova body adjusted to the temperature quickly and no new sweat replaced it. It truly was good to be a nova, by the time they were walking up to the cave he wasn't even feeling uncomfortable any more.

Stay with Fang and guard her... Jedi was fine with that, he hoped the godling wannabe would turn out to be tangible enough to suffer damage, if so he could always rush in, of course his lightsabers were energy weapons, it would be interesting to see what effect they might have. As they entered the tunnel Jedi unhooked the sabers from his belt and held them ready to light. No sense in warning the enemy of the danger he posed until the last moment.

"Sure thing Michael, we won't get much of a surprise now that Mr. High and Mighty went off in there on his own."

Jay follows Michael's glow as they enter the chamber, looking for any hint of traps.

As they entered the relative coolness of the cave, Fang started to shake. She grabbed Nathan's thick arm and clung to him, her eyes way too wide as she waded into battle. She wondered if she'd ever get used to this. After a moment, she realized that getting used to it would be worse, because it would mean that she'd been through enough fights to become jaded to them.

Damned if she did and damned if she didn't.

The Titan flies ahead, but not too far, pushing aside large stone blocks that have crumbled into the passageway or crushing them into powder when possible. His keen ears have picked up Jay's comments quite readily however and he furrows his brow in irritation.

Suddenly appearing in the light emanting from Michael he addresses the others.

"If Ra is down here he is surely aware of our presence as surely as he expected the arrival of Wei Fang. I suspect he may have extrasensory or precognitive perception. Of course I am just a High and Mighty Oaf, so what would I know..." He pauses a moment to let it sink in that he could hear them before continuing. "IN any case I took the liberty of clearing the passageway for us as whomever came out of here would have to have been very lithe to overcome the many obstacles...Your Welcome. "

Ra stood and faced the boarded entrance to the tunnel that led into the throne room. Beside him, Amunet waited invisibly. Ra spoke quietly.

"All in all, I think this has gone pretty well, considering. Now, let's play out the final scene in this mummery and be done with it."

He turned to the Wraith Goddess, sensing rather than seeing her confusion.

"Don't fear, my child. I won't let any harm come to you. To any of you. One last bit of farce, and the bargain will be fulfilled. But, he comes."

As Amunet looks through the stone, she sees the Titan Omega, briefly met at Aeon, flying down a long tunnel leading to the Throne Room. Behind him, coming more slowly, she sees two groups coming down as well. The sight of Michael, Fang, Juno, and King coming together fills her with confusion. They were her friends... yet they came to oppose the will of Lord Ra. The sight of the strangers strengthened her resolve. They came against Lord Ra, and that was all that mattered.

"Do I attack them my lord?" She asks him.
Her invisible fists clenched tightly. Amunet focuses on their minds, trying to find out what their plans for coming are.

"NO!" Ra snaps. He visibly calms himself, then says more quietly, "No, child. Watch and wait. They are Gods, like ourselves. That much, at least, is true. We must not hurt them, nor allow them to hurt us. What happened in Cairo is regrettable, perhaps, but she must forgive me that. If we killed one such as these, however, I would not forgive myself. All is happening according to plan, little Wraith, simply watch and wait. Defend yourself, if need be, but do not kill them."

He stands and waits, a slight tension in his posture.

Amunet hears fear foremost in their thoughts, fear for themselves, yes. But more a fear for her. They were concerned for her, and what Ra had done to her. One thought of glory. Yet another feared to appear foolish. One and all, however, they were united against Lord Ra carrying out his plan. Amunet felt her earlier confusion returning.

Michael nods, ignoring the witty banter that Titan Omega and Nathan were throwing back.

"Thank you Titan. How far into the main chamber? Any opposition in the form of Ra's 'gods'?"

Fang sighed as Titan Omega spoke. She could add that Ra may not have precognative abilities, that his "prediction" of Fang's arrival may have been simple showmanship - it is easy to say you predicted something after the fact - but he could have the power. Whether or not he had the ability, their plan wasn't changing. Instead, she listened quietly to Titan's answer to Michael's question.

"I was just say that you could have done that a bit quiter and with less fanfare, you know what I'm saying. It's called teamwork, but I guess you wouldn't know about that, but we deal with that later. Let's move on."

"Fight later, please." Fang's teeth chattered a little as she spoke. She was bone-white and her sclera was visible all the way around her dark-brown eyes. She held onto Nathan like she was worried about falling down. Then she realized that Kat had started to move on, and she added, "Sorry."

"Gentlemen, please. Whats done is done. Lets press on."

Michael moves forward, picking his footsteps carefully through the rocky ground.

The giant shakes his head. "So far only us. Their is a light further down the tunnel. I suspect Ra awaits us there..."


Titan grunts in displeasure. "Perhaps it would be best in that case not to lobby insults within earshot of your teammates..."

Apparently considering the matter closed, Titan Omega again takes the lead, floating down the corridor toward the light beckoning them onward. Steeling himself for a fight, he is the first to exit the tunnel into the presence of the ressurected Ra.
