Ok. I have edited Nathan's post, per T.O's request that the power be portrayed correctly. I have also edited Jedi's post where he draws conclusions not warranted by what he actually knows. That done, let's move on and put this behind us.

Maybe, maybe not. Thing is he gets something like your abilities, so at least in theory this shouldn't be as bad as your first time was.

Several comments here.

First, T.O's extra growth is because he has the power "Growth" (I assume). If this was mimic'ed then our Mimic should be 12 feet tall. If it was *not* mimic'ed then he should still be his own size and that whole thought balloon would be OOC knowledge. At a guess TO has 5 dots of Bodymorph so Growth could easily be the "missing" dot.

Second, a *big* part of TO's body is his Mega-Appearance(Awe). If we assume this *wasn't* mimic'ed (very likely since he'd have to mimic both the Appearance and the Awe-inspiring) then he should be a pale shadow compared to the real thing. If both Awe and Growth are missing (subtracting 2 dots of M-Strength), then he *is* a pale shadow to the real thing.

Third, different question SkyLion. T.O. went to the clinic, but was he there with us the whole 2 weeks?

TO never went to the clinic. Titan has edited his post to make it a bit more graphic as per the nature of copying the bodymorph. If he copied it up to 5 dots (he did) then he grew, although it isn't quite double height. I fudged the numbers on it. And yes it is a bit upsetting that another character (on purpose and premeditatedly) stole my characters thunder. It would be nice if Nathan edits his reaction post to reflect the horror of the transformation.

Laslty I would respectfully add that if anyone is going to make any inferences about the nature of my character to not use OOC knowledge. I would say at best, for someone with mega Int *might* guess incorrectly that he is a shapeshifter.

His post implied his limit was 4 dots.

So since he prioritized defnse, offense and movement, I would guess he took force field, Density Increase, Extra HL and Flight from Bodymorph. And then rounding out with one of his Megas, Hypermove and teleport.

That would leave him buffer but at normal size, slightly less strong than TO (Mega 1 plus DI gives + 2 strength) and without the mega appearance. That would make me feel better about him not stealing my thunder so much and dwarfing my character as soon as I enter the room.

Fang will simply think of it as a transformation, if she ponders it beyond "bodily alteration." There's no reason to consider it SS because he's not changed his form into something non-human. But she's not going to search out his secret either; she can't copy nova powers and it really doesn't matter beyond the final outcome. If she needs to disrupt him, she'll ICly pick an effect (ie, his size or his 'shape-shift').

That's how that Mega-Int will view it in the early days of the nova era.

It is no major leap to figure out that they didn't start that way before eruption. Sorry, but even my poor human intelligence can figure that out, it doesn't take OOC knowledge, and therefore didn't need to be edited. Perhaps the mention of goop in the thought bubble shouldn't have been there.

However, the conclusion that his powers gave him increased height and body mass, and the compensating thought bubble was quite in character for Colin, and easily deductible.

TO is less than 9 feet tall. Also Novas have already shown physical mutation. Huge size could be one of them...

Exactly. 9 feet tall or even just under is not natural for a human. The tallest man in the world isn't that tall. So it absolutely makes sense that the size came with eruption. That assumption was just proven accurate when Nathan copied TO's powers and grew to be nearly as tall. Hence Jedi's original thought bubble. the only part of that which was out of line was the inclusion of the word goop and tying the goop to the growing. Jedi wouldn't have any IC knowledge of why goop was involved. I completely stand by the rest of it as being blatantly obvious.

Np Titan, you've got every right to edit. I don't have a problem with what you did. I was just defending the fact that (except for the goop) what was in my thought bubble was not OOC knowledge. I try not to play that way.

As it stands now, Nathan isn't anywhere near 9 feet tall. And might I point out that it may be obvious that eruption buffed up titan Omega, that doesn't mean one would assume he is a shapeshifter or bodymorpher. thats the reason I was upset about Nathan's post...it showed the source of the power. However its still OOC knowledge and for all you know or even Nathan for that matter, the goo bit was just nathan's special effect for copying stuff...

With the additions of Jaunt, Jedi, and Renee, plus two new players that will be posting in the next day or so, it was time once again to expand the moderation team. So, I have asked Dawn (Wei Fang, Infinity, Jael Carver, Monster, and too many others...) to help Fox and I, and she has graciously said yes. (Although she took the opportunity to say, 'I told you so' first....)

Q-Mimic Ra and suppress his powers? Can you mimic powers that have a Q-min greater than your own? You might even be able to talk him into it.

Wait, if he's an enhancer then he might be immune to suppression.

A minor point of order. Q Imprint is a level 3 power, so it costs 3 QP. Also it take +1 more QP to use a copied power than normal. So the bodymorph would cost 3 QP for a toal of 6 spent. Current toal would then be at 26, unless you bought mastery or RQC, which is entirely possible and if so I will just shut up.
