Okay, was talking to someone and I realized we've gone through a lot of turnover since this was last done. So, this is a "Hi, my name is _____" thread. Generally a way to say hi in our RL voices and give each other a chance to know us as people and not just characters.
Me first.
Names Craig, I live in SLC, UT. Grew up in San Pedro. Married (15 years) with a munchkin (Catherine, 7 yrs). My wife accepts but does not participate in things geekish. She even let me put up all of my Alex Ross posters on foamboard in the Living Room. Been gaming on and off since I was about 12 (I'm 37.) I am just about to go back to a company I worked at for 12 years to do more cubicle monkey shit..
I play/have played:
Hugin (Formerly Prodigy) Lemmy Chillmeister Vile Bill (dead) Ripsaw (dead) Gerald Haney Ian "Very Bad" Blakely (retired) Great Monster C (retired) Slattern Edward (Formerly Cull) (dead) Trooper Long Pig (2009) Alptraum (2009) Stonefish (2009)
I also write most of the N News Service stuff including the Zach Bronstein Interviews (those are collaborations) and I think I've been here forever and three days, though Jager and Ashnod beat me here.
I'm more than willing to spout off about politics, religion or anything else my overly healthy ego sees fit to latch on to.
[Edit] Hmpf. Should have mentioned some interests.
Music-Fairly eclectic but never been a fan of rap or most modern country (I do own the Essential Jerry Reed)
TV-HBO's series (except 6 feet under)and West Wing are pretty much my only appointment TV.
Stand Up Comedy- The Pantheon I Worship-George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Bill Hicks, Chris Rock, Margaret Cho and Bill Maher. And if someone could explain to me how Janeane Garaffolo is considered funny I'd appreciate it.
Oh, add Patton Oswalt to the list. The dude is a friggin' hoot.
So, next?

I think this is a good idea for those would would like to share this type of info. My name is Kris, I live in Cincinnati OH by way of Washington DC. Almost married (I mean the hours are ticking down literally) Two kids 11 and 12 years old. I myself am 29 years old and have been gaming since 13 or so. (My first RPG book was deities and demigods not the players handbook. Please forgive me for that) I play three main character at the moment but have a dead antagonist I liked to torment folks with. Totem Death Squad (deceased) GateKeeper Symmetry I was once here back before Nprime turned into the forums it is now. I left before things got interesting (Kick myself for that) and have come to lend my special blend of herbs and spices to the game. I play other RPGs but have a special fondness for this setting.

Y'know, I don't think I ever got around to posting on the last one of these.
I'm Michael. My home is in Indianapolis, IN, but I spend a good 10 months of the year at Ball State University, where I'm working on my master's in architecture. Due to the insane time requirements of that business, I only occasionally hold down a job (and am your stereotypical poor college student).
I tend to soak up information at an alarming rate and might drop in on any old discussion. A quick cross-section of interests includes: sociology and modern physics (not exactly sure why), religion (from month to month, I'm either a Catholic or a non-religious Buddhist. I realize this makes little sense.), Chinese martial arts movies (low-brow entertainment, but I don't care!), and hating winter (I really hate the winter). I suppose you can guess that I am interested in architecture and gaming.
I've been running games for the past 6 years or so, and actually playing them for less (go figure). I've been here about a year, and in that time have played Alex Craft, Leonid Lov, and April Rice. I also run "the Roaring Twenties" - an Adventure! game on site.

Excuse the lack of the name (long story, won't go into it, and don't bother), obviously male, and I'm currently in the Twin Cities in Minnesota (aka-the land of ice and snow). I'm here to get my law degree, which consequentially takes up the vast majority of my time.
A small glimpse: - I started gaming the age of 8 (I'm 28 currently), dooming my social life ever since. - Name a random RPG and I've probably played it or even own the corebook. - Like Michael above, I have the strange ability to retain vast amounts of random triva. - My interests are broad, ranging from gaming and geeky things to literature (not all scifi), movies of all genres, and more.
Singularity, Sam Grey, and Mythic are my three active characters at the moment... when I have the time.

Pirating my ideas again, eh, Craig? Fine... This one's deisgnation is that of 'Seph', which, if you please, is short for 'Joseph'. Never 'Joe' or 'Joey'; that was my former fiance. I'm presently over 8,500 days old and reside (for this six months) in the Albany, NY area. I'm putting myself through junior college and working full-time-plus as Internal Affairs Coordinator of the northeastern quadrant of New York state for a major security company. I've been a part of these forums since late 2000, and have the dubious honor of remembering people like Ashnod, Apep, Jager, Prodigy and Wizard when we were all new. I've been gaming since I was about 12, and while I haven't played a terribly broad spectrum of games (only a dozen or two), I'd like to think the ones I have played were pretty quality. I'm a Libertarian, straight-edge Atheist who enjoys Dance Dance Revolution, weight lifting, writing, drawing, fencing, fighting, debate, a few video games, anime and roleplaying, when possible. I cosplay as Cid Highwind from Final Fantasy 7 at 'cons, which requires I dye my brown hair yellow. My future is wide open and I'm making it more or less up as I go along, but I'm looking towards grad school in Alaska and a possible career in Law Enforcement or Travel Journalism. I am a douchebag because I have let a lot of people down, here, over and over again. My life keeps pulling me away from places like this, something I don't particularly like. In my time here, I've played Avenger and ronin, whom you no doubt love and revere as you would your greatest heroes. I play two other characters, but I don't want their identities to be known just yet. I also have two more I might be bringing in. I enjoy punk rock and classical music among many others, don't really watch television (cartoons and History channel, when I do) and my favorite authors are Hemingway, Twain, Mishima and London. My favorite philosopher is Nietzsche, my favorite physicist is Einstein, my favorite comedian is Bill Hicks and my favorite scientist overall is Tesla.

Hello, my name is Dawn, and I'm from the Gold Coast in Australia. I'm a student doing Theatre and Writing, and I have been gaming for four years. I'm somewhere in my early twenties bordering on mid-twenties, and I recently got my long blonde hair cut. I play Regan 'Codex' McLachlan (duh), Rashima 'Veil' al-Hariti, Irini Mikhailova, Asherat, Hannah 'Focus' Moss (briefly), Renaissance and Jennifer 'Dervish' Parks, not to mention Rhiannon Lewis at Alex's game. My passions are reading and writing. I prefer to study history, the occult and religion for my non-fiction reading, and devour fantasy books for my fiction. My online fiction tends to be fan-fiction like my stuff here, and my ambition is to be a published author. My big thing is that I have Aspergers' Syndrome, a form of autism. I must confess that Codex is an older, more battered and now winged version of me. My music tastes are broad, and my favourite TV shows are M.A.S.H, the Simpsons, The Jerry Springer Show, Law and Order and its many offspring, the original CSI (Warrick is a babe!) and docos.

Ah, let's see...
I'm Lee Davis-Thalbourne. I've been here longer than even Prodigy has (eep!). I'm currently a third-year Uni Student at Monash University in Melbourne, studying to become a Linguist. This will probably disturb many people here, but I'm only 20!
I'm not active on the Opnet Board anymore, unfortunately, despite many people badgering me about getting back on. Back when I did, I played Alex McKenzie, Sydney "Photon" Holland, and Teknokat (as it says in my sig...). I also play Locky McKenzie in The Roaring 20's, and yes, Locky and Alex at one point were related.
I'm tolerant, possibly to pathological levels, and it's my driving goal in life to be capable of stepping into anyone's viewpoint to understand them better. I am surrounded by fellow geeks, I'm loving it, and I intend never to leave the safe confines of university.
I love classical music (but will listen to anything but heavy metal), am addicted to the internet, Have yet to move out of home, and is definitely intending to vote John Howard out this year.
As an aside, some of you may be curious about my avatar. Yes, that is me, ask Chosen about where he got the image from. Better yet, try searching for it yourself...

I'm 37 and have been married 6 years, so far we have 3 children ages 5+, 3+, and almost 1, and a dog too. I've been gaming since I was about 13, I got hooked on Aberrant when it came out at some convention.
I'm a system admin (and work in a cubical) and have degrees in business and computers.
Hobbies: Lots of techy stuff, comics, computer games, following the news, on line stuff. Kids take up a lot of time, but I recommend them all the same.

Hey all,
Time was I was a household name round these parts. But, that's the past.
Anyways, Name's Stephen. No-one I know really USES that ad my name anymore, but I was born with it. Single, New Englander, been gaming off and on for like, forever. Started off with an illfated Star Wars WEG game in the late 80s, then off for a while, then mostly White Wolf stuff.
Interests/hobbies:
Reading--Mostly RPG books. Keep in mind that includes anything I need for a game...Right now, WW2 books are part of my "gaming" cache. I don't have many overt interests, but read a lot more than I seem to.
TV--Stargate. Wrestling. Ummm...I don't watch a lot of TV. I catch a few episodes of shows here and there, but I only watch the above two on any sort of regular basis.
Music--Rock, blues, some metal, occasionally one of the pop flavors of the week. Mostly rock. By rock, I mean, Beatles, Queen, Stone Coyotes. Favorite bands include the above, plus the Dropkick Murphys, Tribe of Judah, Ra, The Who, and others. Most of my faves are old or indie (As in small, not this new "genre" of music), like Johnny Hide, Melissa Ferrick, Stone Coyotes (They're from nearby, and about the only places they're big are here and Texas), etc. ToJ fits too. SKM and Ra are prominent, but definitely out of place in my list. I still like 'em.
I'm also a musician. I tend to write folk/rock songs, msotly due to the constraints of primarily playing instruments not to the style of anything I write. I'm teaching myself guitar and piano, and occassionally manage to demo something, but my band just split, so I'm kinda going nowhere. I've dabbled in almost every music category at some point.
Anyways, this is why the musical portion of my writeup will be longer than the other parts. Ilove music. Music music music.
I don't think I've ever played anyone on here, but I've palyed a ton of characters in Aberrant and the rest of the A continuum.
I don't know what else to add for tidbits. I'm politically active, liberal, loudmouthed, and not afraid to fight for what I believe in.
And uhhh...Yeah.

All-righty, then....
I'm Jessica, though there's no secret in the fact that I was once Jeff (long, long ago, in a clothing size far, far away).
Originally from upstate New York, I was an Architecture major at New York Institute of Technology from '85 until the money ran dry, then spent five fun-filled years with Uncle Sam's Flying Circus, bouncing from California to Arkansas to Germany. Spent some 18 joyous months living as a civilian in Deutchland after Uncle Sam decide that I was embarrassing him. Eventually wound up, by way of friends whom I'm still considering whether or not to forgive, in mid-Missouri, smack in the middle of both the tornado and Bible belts (which came as a nasty jolt for my Wiccan, blizzard-loving self).
I'm a gun-owning liberal with a penchant for politics - indeed, I'm currently on the ballot for alderman, with the election next Tuesday. I'm also a member of the LGBT community, emphasis on the L and the T, which makes the whole running-for-office thing oh-so much more interesting in the small, rural, conservative, church-on-every-corner town in which I live. I'm an eclectic Wiccan (more fodder for the political fire, I know) who practices almost exclusively solitaire. I'm also marvelously lucky in that I have, by roads strange and seldom-travelled, a platonic life-partner who is nothing short of amazing (stand up and wave, Carver).
I'm borderline-to-mild Aspergers (undiagnosed, but all too obvious to anyone who has put up with me for any length of time - again, stand up and wave, Carver). I've something akin to photographic memory, and as such am a fount of useless knowledge and facts not worth knowing, to the point of driving people around the bend. I'm also a fount of unfortunately archaic colloquialisms; ignore my use of "groovy" and "sawbuck" and "criminy" and the like. I love cats and hate dogs, and the feelings appear to be mutual (as the slowly fading dogbite scar on my nose will attest). Back in my Jeff days, I was all-too often accused of being an elf; these days, I'm a tad chunky for the assumption...which is kinda a funny thing, given that I have a very close tie to the Fae.
I am the occasionally bemused, sometimes annoyed, more often annoying voice behind Timeslip, Sandcaster, Thoughtwave, The Crusader, Cassandra Foster, and (in unfortunate moments) Brother Jacob.
OVERDUE UPDATE: I won the election, and am currently Chair of the Public Safety Committee as well as 3rd Ward Alderman. I also am no longer undiagnosed: mild Aspergers it is.

My name is Justin, and I hail from Southwest Louisiana. I'm 24, I've been a gamer for a little over a decade now. I play a wide variety of CCG's, ranging from the ancient Marvel Overpower to Magic and yes, even Yugi-oh. I enjoy fishing, hunting, gaming and just hanging out with my friends in general.
Five years ago I started working for the Blue Empire that is Wal-Mart. I've worked virtually every department in the store from cart pusher and door greeter up to the department manager of Toys. (I was young and stupid is the only reason I took that one) Awhile back I was hurt on the job and nearly lost my right arm. Since then it's been a serious struggle at work just to do things I used to have no problem with.
I listen to alot of different types of music, though as of late country has been the predominant one.
I'm a big fan of Generation One Transformers, and pretty much any other giant Robot show out there.
If I'm not out working or in class, odds are I'm somewhere on here reading the work alot of people who aren't here anymore put up before my time.
On here I play/have played Long Shen-Kahn Hideki Cade Iron Rose Grid Iron

So I guess I'll take my turn.
My name is Jonathan, I'm from southern Louisiana as well, within kicking distance of Long in fact. Much of the time we'll be on different computers posting at the same location. I too came from a long line of CCG's dating back to the Star Trek Card game. Eventually I learned that CCG's are just expensive and I decided to give up on these.
I've been playing White-wolf published games since I was a freshman in high school. Started with werewolf, eventually moved to vampire, mage, and pretty much anything. I use to LARP a bit, but the group I was with was ran by morons so I stopped going. Eventually I moved for college and didn't get to game at all for a few years.
Now I'm still in college, but bck home where I have access to my gaming group (all 3 people of it including myself.)
Here on the boards I play
Access - my main at the moment Amped - one of my two mains Augment - Iron Rose's twin sister Black Lotus - he's kind of retired now though Edison - him...he's just drunk Med-Evac - for Chicago based emergencies only

At Jessica's bequest, I am here to bore you all with details about my life. My real-world name is Dawn, which is going to cause a ton of confusion when we get Samhra here from down-under (I think the current idea is that I'll be Yank Dawn and she can be Oz Dawn). I hail form Illiois orginally, and am the daughter of very vanilla parents: my father is a farmer and my mom is a teacher. My hobbies are reading, writing, gaming, and lately, hanging out with the people here. I also have an intense interest in all things horsey.
I play: Carver Sean McCline Clark Adam Gu Saori Cat's Paw Brawlzilla Sylvan

My name is, I shit you not, Nova.
Stop laughing.
Feel better now? Okay then, let's continue:
I'm an old fart, 36, and I live in Northwest Missouri. I'm a direct blood descendant of lazy Cajuns who got sick and tired of walking just after they passed Pierre Laclede's settlement in what is now called Saint Louis, and settled in Southeastern Missouri. I'm very tall, 6'2" (1,88m) a fact I attribute to good nutrition and having a tall father.
I've been gaming since 1982, when I played the first edition of AD&D, and the zip-loc baggie version of Car Wars.
I play tennis, juggle, and Dance Dance Revolution. I live with and am enaged to Ashnod, who I met in February of 2003, and we intend to marry late this Summer or Autumn in either Canada or The Netherlands.
I play the characters of Nova "Flicker" Madigan, and Meghan "Girl Made of Titanium" Cutter.

Flicker is pulling on my arm... I hate writing these things. I always end up going on and on about uninteresting details. It doesn't help that I'm not all that interesting to begin with. My name is Kimberly. You can follow most of my exploits at Dark Kingdom Productions and Slavegirl Scrawlings . Let's see. I spent about a year traveling with the Renassaince Festival. I've come close to finishing a degree several times but never actually have done it. My current favorite musical selection is Rasputina whom I've been fortunate enough to see twice now. I am engaged to Flicker, am close friends with Apep and Metropolis, have been fortunate enough to meet Timeslip and Carver, and have corresponded with many of you outside of this forum. Like my forum namesake, I have an affection for red and black clothing (but more of an affection for black), though I'm a huge sucker for clothing that changes color. Shiraz is good, as are some of my video games, my movies, graphic novels, anime, manga, books, and other assorted things which steal my attention for a while. I have a number of characters, though the ones that get the most use are Ashnod, Fracture, Sherazahde, and Salamander.

Well, I suppose I can do this. Hell my life is an open book anyways. I have to agree with Ashnod, there is nothing interesting about me.
My name is Dave (perhaps Carver will remember it now). I'm 29 and I live in Paris, Tennessee. If there is a brightside to the galaxy, Paris Tennessee is in a state farthest from it. I live with my bestest friend in the whole wide world, Artemis (who occasionally posts here). She and I have been together since Nov. 9th, 2003.
As some of you may have already heard, my philosophy (one of many) is: "We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time." That pretty much means I try not to let life get me down to much, I face things with my chin up, balls in hand, and middle finger out. Life's too short to sweat the small stuff.
It was brought up in chat, and apparently I'm the resident smartass (tag teaming with Craig), a mantle that I shall wear proudly.
As far as gaming goes, oh god, like Singularity, you name it. Mostly White Wolf stuff and Dungeons & Dragons. I looked at my 1st D&D book when I was 8, my sisters' boyfriend gave me all three AD&D core books (including Deities and Demigods) and I was instantly hooked. I discovered a place where my imagination was king and to me imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand. (-Albert Einstein)
I stopped gaming when I was about 13. I started to grow up, think about girls, and get hair in funny places, stuff like that. I lost my interest in gaming, and for a lame reason too. Everyone I knew thought it was stupid and "dorky", so I quit so I could fit in. Just so people would accept me.
Well, when I was 15 I started dating a girl named Lauren, and her brother, who was 16, had Muscular Dystrophy. He was confined to a wheel chair had barely the strength to do anything on his own. Lauren and I eventually broke up (she didn't want to feel tied down... at 15!! <rolls eyes>) but her brother Jack and I kept hanging out. I came by everyday to sit and talk and just B.S. with him.
Out of the blue one day I mentioned to him trying to play a game of AD&D. Instantly he was hooked. Him, myself, his cousin and a host of other people were gathering around the table almost every night (summer vacation woohoo!). I saw a man who was weak, depressed, and never given the chances most of us have (like riding a bike, our 1st kiss, etc) suddenly wake up to a world where anything was possible. It felt good to know I was giving him an escape from the world, even for a while. He played a Minotaur with the strength of 100 men, honorable, noble, and vengeful like a mo'fo. His name was Blackheart Sargoth and he retired him as an emperor of his people. A 30th level Fighter, 30th level Barbarian. A lot of good times are wrapped up in characters like that, good times I don’t think some people quite understand. So began 10 years of great gaming.
One night, about 10 years after I met him, 24 years longer than the doctors said he would live. We were sitting on his front porch, and he was depressed about not being "like us" and it hurt me because I didn't know what to say to him. All I could say was that I had done it all already, and it was already novel to me. If I could trade with him, my life for his I would, just so he would get a fair chance. Yeah, sappy I know. What came next honestly changed my life forever. No, he didn't kiss me. He thanked me. He thanked me for every adventure, for every laugh, for every ignorant one-liner. He thanked me for helping him walk into lands he never knew existed and to see suns rise and set on plains that lay hidden from him. He thanked me for helping him have a life the world never gave him the chance for. Three weeks later, he died.
I use his dice to this day, and tell anyone who thinks role-playing is lame or stupid the story of my friend Jack Edwards who is right now, with any luck, venturing to lands we could only hope to imagine.
I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge - myth is more potent than history - dreams are more powerful than facts - hope always triumphs over experience - laughter is the cure for grief - love is stronger than death.
Like I said, my life is an open book so if you ever want to ask me something or just want to B.S. late one night feel free find me.

That is an incredibly touching story.
Unfortunately, it's also a thread-killer, because who wants to post after something that awesome?
That's why I'm posting this. I'll be the trite motherfucker who breaks the moment of awed silence.
You're all welcome.
Carry on.

My name's Peter, and I live in Leicester, U.K with my wonderful and overly-tolerant wife of 3 years, who shares my love for roleplaying games and mmorpgs, and doesn't at all mind that I stay up all night r/ping more with you guys My other interests; well, they run far and wide. Writing, swimming, and reading anything the least bit coherent. I used to do martial arts and work out a lot when I was a bouncer, but that was 4 years ago. My wife (then my girlfriend) decided that having me come home late with stitches once too often was a worrying matter, so I quit. Here I play Procyon, everyone's favorite cold-blooded killer in robes (thanks Jager).

I suppose it's my turn. I tried this once before, but my computer chewed it up.
I'm from Tucson, Arizona. I've lived here my whole life. I grew up in one of the bad parts of the city, which is why I got into gaming. While everybody else was shooting each other I kept my head down and coasted through school.
It was more common for graduates of my highschool to spend their early 20s in prison than at a University. I decided that that sucked so I went to the local community college. I didn't know what I wanted to do, but I knew it would be better than flipping burgers at McDonalds. I spent 3 years undeclared which was actually a lot of fun. I've taken a class from just about every academic department at that school. In the second semester of my third year I took an archaeology class. The professor really got me hooked on it. I was lucky to find archaeology for three reasons. The school that I was going to is one of the best Community colleges to go to for it. It's field classes are some of the best in the country. Second, the University of Arizona (in Tucson) has one of the oldest and most prestigious Anthro programs in the country, rated Top 5 in the nation and all that. And third, most importantly, I met my current girlfriend in a field excavation class. We've been living together ever since.
So I have an Associates and a Bachelors in Anthropology. I've been delaying my transition to graduate school. I needed a break, but I'm a sucker and still take classes as a Non-degree seeking Graduate Student...AKA 'Here's a bunch of my money to take a class that may or may not help me any.'
I play Conduit Lee Jones the last name was a coincidence, I swear. and Endurance I can't seem to get her introduction Fic done. But I registered the name so that's gotta count for something.

Ok, my turn.
My name is Russ, I'm 29 and yes, I also live in the Twin Cities just like Thomas and Sing. I was born in Northern Minnesota (like almost Canada) and spent several years at the Cass Lake indian reservation.
I've been a gamer in one form or another for the last 20 years (I find that as I type this it surprises even me) I started in the fourth grade when some friends and I started a freeform diceless choose your own adventure sort of thing called 'Robot Wars', from there Battletech was a logical progression. I'm also one of those 'You name it' guys, it helps that I practically lived and worked at the local gaming store.
I'm a card-carrying Liberal and free thinking pagan, and history fanatic. I read a few comics in a given week, love Sci-fi, I also have an encyclopedic knowledge of the DC universe and Star Trek.
I play Typhoon obviously, and just started Satyr, I'm still trying to figure out what to do with him other than have him screw anything that moves.

Since I spend a half hour trying to find this post, I guess I’ll respond to it so that it’s easier to find.
My name is Ben, I live on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and I’m 33. I’m overweight and have long hair, so I fit a part of the gamer geek stereotype. I live with a roommate who’s also a gamer but really isn’t into the Internet and has an intense hatred of this site because of the time I spend reading it.
I started gaming my 2nd semester of college - Feb 1991, I’d heard of a D&D group in high school, but never had a chance to ask about joining. I’m certain that gaming contributed to my being kicked out of college, though it was only a contributing factor. In hind site, that may have been one of the best things to ever happen to me because it immersed me in the real world pretty painfully & made me appreciate my education & the life that I wanted.
After a few years of real life, I managed to go back to school, though not to the University I’d originally attended. I have an Associates in Computer Technology with a minor in Psychology of all things. I’ve been doing ISP Technical Support and Supervision of the department for a bit over 7 years (5 years supervising).
While I’ve mostly played [A]D&D, Shadowrun and the various White Wolf Games, I like a lot of others have tried quite a few systems and own far more core books than I care to admit. I’ve been an avid Computer RPG player since I discovered them in College. I’m not much on MMO games, though I have played Star Wars Galaxies since September 2003...that can be attributed more to my being a SW Freak than the current quality of the game. I used to read a lot but don’t have much time to do so any more, Fantasy, Sci/Fi, Horror are my preferred genres. I’m not a big music person but have somewhat varied tastes. Quite restricted compared to many of you though.
Inclusive of all that, I’m a fairly boring person. I’m also painfully shy. Writing my first post here was difficult, posting a fiction and going into chat were worse. Writing this was something I’ve put off since the thread was last bumped.
I currently play [Dr.] Lou Anne Burgess. I’ve registered Ovos but I’m not sure if I’ll ever figure out how to make that [full] concept work

Its as good as time as any. Welcome to Fantasy Bryan! My real name is Bryan, but I tend to not use it. I associate it with my Dad who I am not to huge on, aside from it just being a boring name. The 'Fantasy' comes from a series of nicknames that have made temporary residence in the beginning of my name. First was 'Emo' Bryan. I used to be really into Weezer, and that was the Emo before this new shit appeared. For a few weeks I was Indie Bryan, after renouncing my Emo nature, and for a night I was even 'Punk' Bryan, thanks to our very own Seph. It quickly ran out of steam, and another friend decided on Fantasy Bryan. This is because fantasy names are spelled with 'Y's in place of 'I's. I am 20 years old, and I am living in the Capital Region with Seph, who is soon to be relocating. I grew up in a shitty rundown city known as Binghamton (It is often mentioned in the Law and Order series, and in Seventh Heaven, the father grew up in Binghamton. Or so I am to believe.) Binghamton is most known for the Endicott-Johnson shoe factories, and the home office of IBM (Which was in a suburb named Endicott). I live in Binghamton for 19 years of my short life, and occasionally visit. I have been gaming since I was 14 or 15. My first game was SpyCraft, and since I have played D&D 3.5, Vampire: The Masquerade, new World of Darkness, Aberrant, Adventure, BeSm 2nd and 3rd, All Flesh Must Be Eaten, Star Wars d20, Call of Cthulhu, and maybe a few others. I shine in my geekdom, however, with video games. I am a huge, huge video gamer, top of my favorites list being the Resident Evil games, Guitar Hero(s), Onimusha, Ico, and Shadow of the Colossus. I am very into Spiderman (Preferably of the Ultimate variety), Sharks, House, The Critic, Arrested Development, and Futurama. My lowest points are my apathy, lethargy, and my inability to handle money. Those are probably my favorite points. I play: Lina (09) Troy Campbell (09) Sven (09) Transonic (09) Haplopelma Lividum (17) (Retired) Tori Kryzchi (17) Et.. C'est moi!

Here goes... My "real" name is José, but I think I can count the number of people that call me by it in one hand. To most people I'm Joseph, Josie, Yoshi or some variation thereof. My mother is Scottish and my father is Catalan (of Catalonia, an autonomous region in the northeast of Spain), and I grew up in Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands, famous for beaches and bananas, and located somewhere off the coast of Africa. I don't like islands, so I escaped to college in Barcelona, where I'm studying Biotechnology and living the good life. I've been gaming since I was 14 or so. Started with D&D (didn't we all?) and went on to discover the Storyteller system and, more recently, indie games like Burning Wheel or Dogs in the Vineyard. Apart from that, I watch a bit of anime, but my geek level is relatively low. I don't read many comic books (Ultimate X-Men, mainly), I don't like sci-fi/fantasy series or movies, and I can probably count the number of videogames I've seen to the end without using my feet. Although I do like playing Microsoft Solitaire, if that counts . I generally prefer to entertain myself cooking, going shopping, to the beach, or drinking Tequila Sunrises in one of the city's artsy cocktail bars. But I really like gaming, which is why I'm here, obviously. Most of you already know I'm not the nicest person around, and tend to suffer from an overinflated ego, a difficulty caring about other people, and a tendency to treat serious things like a game or a joke. Yes, I'm aware of it, and I'm trying to change. Right now I play Percivald (09), and Exuberance (09). Technically, I've got more characters registered and approved, but I'm not sure if I'm going to resurrect them.
