Anyway, I had a bit of an evening. Sorry I was only able to be on for a little bit, but I will get everyone caught up with a post in the next few days. I am back, but I probably won't be as prolific as I once was. I will definitely average better than one post a day, though, just bear with me a bit longer. See you guys tomorrow.

Just in case anybody was wondering... if you char watched television any at all, they probably would've seen the S.O.S. scrubbing pad commercials, which would let them know that short-short-short-long-long-long-short-short-short was S.O.S. (that is if they could connect the two... yay for useful advertising)

Anyone heard from Renee/Morninglight?

I see her log onto her IM occassionally, but I don't see her out here much.

If you can, please check in with her and ask about her interest level...if she still wants to finish our fic and participate in the game propoer.

Update: I caught her moments after I did that. She's extremely busy with schoolwork and isn't sure when she'll have the time again. I'd say just figure that the fiction is probably dead and if she comes back, you guys can finish it.

Just wanted to give you a poke Max. Your up for our part of the sub scene.

The only problem with that is that she and I had come up with a clever plan involving my character being a viable addition to the soon to be formed Team Tomorrow...and the fic was the lead in for it. She and I had worked out our own buddy system so i don't know how it's going to work now.

I'd say that Titan Omega should hear about it when it's announced and come knocking at the door without her. It'll get you in, especially with what he's done in the background.

It's not that simple...Renee had a way to get me in past the background check in order to keep my secret ID. If they find out who TO *really* is they wouldn't let him on the team...Renee and I had the plan...

Then the logical thing to do, with Renee out of the picture, is discuss that plan with other people who are active in the game, instead of harping on the inconvenience of her absence. At the risk of sounding rude, stop complaining and start doing something about it, if it bothers you so much. It's not the end of the bloody world, you know. Find another way to make it work. Communicate with the other players. Take up transcendental meditation and hope the cosmos gives you the answer. Anything. All you're doing right now is focusing on the problem.

Hey now, I don't think you can begrudge me for being a bit sad and put off track by an incomplete fiction. I KNOW I am not the only one here to have had that frustration. Basically until she gets back I don't see any way for TO to officially join T2M. Of course I will keep playing in the meantime but that particular plan is put on hold. And just so you know, all of it was discussed with Titan beforehand so he knows what I am talking about (I think...) and the reasons why TO would have to have some serious ducks in a row to go official. In the meantime I can have him be like Thor from the Ultimates...kind of part of things but always maintaing a distance until he is really needed...

I guess I'll just keep adding to mine as time goes on. Since my character is stuck in the future there really aren't many fiction options available to me.

Guess we'll see what I come up with.

In fairness, SkyLion, I want to make 2 points.

1) There is no T2M yet. Therefore no one is joining it -right now-.

2) There is more than one way for your character to join. If the way Renee is working out falls through, then I'm utterly confident that you can work out some alternative.

Hey guys. I was just doing some thinking... do you think that Bioluminescence could provide the light required for Elemental Anima: Light? I was just thinking of possible future experience buys for Michael Peters. Holo would be a good power too... bending light into holograms and all that.

What can you guys see for future buys for your characters?

Although it might not officially give enough light to do anything fancy it does indicate a direction his powers could take so I see no reason why you couldn't go for the EA:Light.

Not a lot of future buys for me, with HG stuck in the future for the forseeable and no sign of it changing with Titan absent. Having said that I did have a whole listed direction for him to possibly go in, but it's been so long since there was any reason to look at HG I'm not even sure where I put it now.

BL may give enough light on it's own for EA, but even if it doesn't give enough for everything, but if nothing else you can use Enhance/Diminsh to give you more (or use the extra QP to give a nice flashlight like beam, concentrate it before you use it.

As for Joe, I was thinking about some mega-dex/wits (more actions), mega-str(give his martial arts hits a bit more bite), mega-sta (aggro soak), and hopefully be able to up his Quantum to 6, and get some Mastery of his EA.

Some of this I can do before I run out of NP's... but most of it not... Joe will be slow growing, but end up fairly powerful in the end.

My situation complicated pretty unexpectedly, and to be frank, I had other things to deal with. My wife has been checking in fairly often for me, but my laptop has been out of commission (As far as internet is concerned), so I haven't been able to get on. When last I posted to you all, I had started a new canvass in Ocean City, so would be home at night fairly early and would be able to post regularly. Day 2 in Ocean City, I was transferred to our Newark office, which is far enough from my house that I have moved up to an apartment there. This, as you may imagine, sucks donkey balls.

Additionally, my laptop has not been able to connect to the internet for many weeks. I have conquered that problem, insofar as ethernet is concerned. I can still not connect wirelessly. Luckily, the apartment I am staying in has a free ethernet port, so I should be good from now on. However, my roommate is my boss, and he is quite demanding of even my off time.

What I mean to say is: I will attempt to make this work, because I want to, but I will make no more promises, because I don't want to break them and I have no idea what will come up next. I am amazed at your continued patience, and will make the effort on your behalf, but we aren't out of the woods yet.

My next posts will be in the order: Fahrenheit, Rich Stevenson, Darklighter, Joe Smith, Leon, Jaunt, Titan Omega. I am only saddened that my absence has cost us some superb players, but I am again gratified that Dawn and those of you who remain with her have kept the dream alive.
