He's out of surgery and in recovery for the time being. We still have about 20 minutes before we can see him. I'll keep everyone updated.

sorry about the double post but there is no wireless here in the hospital so I'm having to post everything from my phone. they said they'll have him up and walking in about 4 hours. I'll be sure to relay any and all messages, but if everything goes right he'll be home tomorrow and hopefully able to read everything himself

another update, he just got up and walked around for a bit. The next major task for him is to drink some grape kool-aid.

as of 2 hours ago all is well. I'm going on his comic run for him tomorrow morning and dropping by after class tomorrow since I can't skip my MWFs like I can my TRs.

I hope that his recovery time after his surgery wasn't as rough as mine.

Let Long know that I know what he's dealing with and I hope he adapts very well to his gastric bypass.

Just tell him, as best he can to keep the area near his stitches clean to prevent infection, and be careful.

It's what I did after the amputation, and it worked wonders for the scaring.

Another thing, when he can have soups, Tomato always worked for me. ^_^

Well I'm home from the hospital and everything has gone well. I'm still pretty sore and all, but it's great to be home again. As I get to feeling better I will try to come on here more. Thank you all for your concern.

Tomato soup with a sprinkle of cheese and a dollop of sour cream. Wonderful stuff for all that ails you, and better (out of a can) than chicken noodle.
