Definitely keep us posted, if you can. So, what kind of stuff have you seen so far? Besides miles and miles of incredible ocean, that is. It does help remind me of how little landmass there actually is, ya know?

Babylon: Come out with me sometime. Thank you for the offer. I may do just that. If it's the experience you say it is, I may have to direct some effort to evolving the ability. Endeavor: WHOA. You've been to mars, Mr.N.? Man, maybe I should grab a spacesuit and ask you for a little excursion! *laughs* That's SOOOO cool! I wish I could do that! Of all the groups that I keep in contact with, of all the philosophies extant on this globe, I find myself cherishing my time with the Daedalus League the most. They explore for the sheer joy of it, and that joy can be contagious. If I was forced to declare for a group or philosophy, I would not even hesitate joining the League full-time. As it is, I am only an adjunct member since I can not devote my full attention to it. But yes. I have been to Mars. I have seen the rings of Saturn with my own eyes and I have watched Jupiter rise over the horizon of Europa and seen the lightning storms as their magnetic fields and radiation belts war for survival. They are sights to awe the soul. If you are interested, perhaps you should contact the League. With your enthusiasm, your engineering and manufacturing capabilities, you might find each other mutually beneficial. If you are willing to accept the risks of a hostile environment such as Mars, I would gladly take you there as part of a Daedalus League outing next month. Enjoy your trip across the Pacific. Mr Nashoba, I should like to come along and help as well with the Martian expedition, I adapt to harsh conditions with ease, have previous experience regarding Mars and can transport pretty much anything you can fit through a 'hole' aprrox 7 metres by 7 metres in 10 seconds or so. Also I have data that this Daedulus League would be interested in. Walker, those capable of manipulating spacetime are always welcome - that you are highly adaptable is a bonus as well. The League will welcome you with open arms if you wish to become a member. To Walker, Endeavor, and anyone else interested in the Daedalus League, the next major meeting will be in Hawaii on July 20 at the Mauna Kea observatory. Several members of the League have contracted independently to help calibrate some new astronomical equipment. The observatory has graciously allowed the League to use their property as the staging area for the trip. Those not capable of high mobility or those who are not adaptable to harsh conditions or require equipment for survival or transport should contact the League through their OpNet site and should arrive at least six hours beforehand. Since the League operates legally in many countries, personal liability waivers will be required. The current agenda is (all times local PST): 12:00PM - Lecture on Mars (history, mythology) 2:00 - Snacks 2:30 - Lecture on Mars (terrain, hazards) 4:30 - Early dinner 7:00 - Tour of Mauna Kea - incl. telescope time 8:00 - Calibration begins 9:00 - Final equipment check 10:00 - Advance group departs for staging 10:30 - League transit to Mars (via multiple spatial warps for those incapable of traveling on their own). 4:00AM - League returns. Breakfast will be provided. As per League bylaws, all those incapable of their own transport will return now. Members who can transit on their own and survive independently may stay longer. 5:00 - Debrief. Films will be developed free of charge. Examination of samples. Any equipment loaned out by the observatory or the League must be returned at this time. Open discussion on the experience. Coffee will be provided. 10:00 - Event concluded. One final note: The Daedalus League is dedicated to exploring space. The Nova Condition is only of interest insofar as it relates to space exploration/survival. Political discussions and posturing will not be tolerated. This does not mean that Utopian/Teragen/etc. are unwelcome, we just ask that you leave your philosophy at the door and treat our hosts with respect.

Dearest Sakura-Chan, By the time you read this, I will have left you. The presence that I felt on that island has truely shaken my inner fibre. I am focussed on one thing, to face that darkness and destroy it. The darkness shrouded in death and destruction. I know this sounds strange, but, I was partially responsible for this situation. He, is your brother, Sakurako. When he was but an infant, I had put him up for adoption, soon before your birth and just after my marrage to your father. He was the son of someone I wish I had never had any relations to. Your brother, after his eruption recently, took out his tormented and insane delusions and went on a killing spree. First killing his adopted family and his father, then rampaging to that island. He has the ability to cloud one's mind and control the emotional impulses of the mind. He does indeed feed off of suffering and torment, as well as the impulses of energy released upon death. He's a monster, Sakurako. He must be stopped for the sake of all of us. I know this dosen't explain everything, and by the time you read this, I may as well be dead. I want you to RUN. Run as far away from here as possible. Continuing on your journey would be the best for the family. I have already made arrangements in case the worst-case scenario I postulated indeed happens. But, I do have some hope. There are... Things I haven't told you about myself, things I have learned and people I have assiciated with. Soon you will meet these people, and you will learn of the destiny some have spoken of. I am sorry I will most likely not be there for you. But, if I return, I will tell you EVERYTHING. Goodbye, For now. Hitomi Hino. PS: Do not follow the flow. Follow your heart.
