Different intellects choose different tools with which to accomplish their goals. The Covenant will answer many of your questions but rather than make you wait I'll try to provide answers to the question you asked.

Allowable methods and parameters of play are those not forbidden by Covenant and limited only by the audacity and intellect of the Principle. The objective, the goal, is revealed in the Covenant though that does not stop many from projecting probabilities or attempting the use of precognitive powers. Some are even rumored to be successful though to my personal knowledge such stories are apocryphal and stipulate the presence of a "friend of a friend of an acquaintance.

I can't tell you the current goal as I will not know it until the Quorum releases the Covenant.

Oh well, you guys just go about your buisiness. I'm going to think twice as to if what I do is of my own accord, or a pawn's move. You guys don't start blowing up countries, and I'm cool. Just try to leave the playing table better than you found it, okay?

Those that think there is a difference haven't comprehended the nature of that which we're discussing. You're already a part of it as am I.

Coincidence is only a word.

Exact game definition of Principle and Resource Base, I get the general idea of course, but if there are any specific game rules relating to these concepts it would help to know them.

Also how long a grace period do you get for choosing an organisation? Is it negotiable depending on inital size of organisation?

Your later post raised a question as well, I presume use of fission and fusion devices does not include nuclear power plants for power generation. I also presume use of radioactive isotopes as a weapon, the so called dirty bomb approach, is also precluded.

If the game articles also preclude genocide and detrimental alteration of planetary ecology via nanonology and/or genetic techniques then count me in, otherwise I'm taking my ball and going home smile

Ladies and gentlemen, perhaps moving this conversation to a new thread is of order? The original concept of this thread has evolved out of it's old identity.

Walker there's no grace period for choosing an organization. There is an economic and social grace period granted for certain organizations chosen once a covenant is in effect. In other words; were I controlling the resources of Burma, the research installation belonging to your multi-national corporation research location in Burma would be safe from economic sanctions, nationalization, gurrilla insurgencies or industrial espionage for a period of time varying with the covenant in effect.

I'm a little occuppied at the moment and the remaining subjects are a trifle lengthy in explanation but I'll provide insight into them shortly.

Ta!
