Endeavor.

Come to think of it, my guy might be a bit on the old side for you. Hasn't aged a day since twenty-five, but he's been around a little while. What's your high water-mark for men?

I don't think she has one actually. Or a low water mark for that matter. Chalk it up to too many nights lounging around in the school uniform sipping ocha and not hanging out in Rappongi in her lingerie like the other Japanese school girls. smile

Sakura, I'm shocked! You would turn down a sweet person like Squidie in order to go out with some fossil dug up by our friendly neighborhood ninja? I am hurt! Squidie is hurt! Well... He would be hurt if not so taken with the idea of some quality time with Jordan. On the plus side I caught that subtle pass from Sandy offering to make you go faster than a photon after drinks.

It might be worth looking into, School-girl. Don't give up hope yet.
wink

I'm still here folks.

You know what I really like about my family? After 16 days on EVA high guard, getting to see god's own concert twice, the preview and then the main event, they sent me a present and we all took the day off.

Say what you want about taint, taint-chix, seperating from humanity and all the other philosophical baggage. If every yutz on the planet could experience for a minute what I spent the six hours doing in zero gee there would be peace on Earth.

It's just too hard to pick a fight when you're this... Satisfied.

God, I love my life.
laugh

Gotta go. Somebody's awake again. Philosophy later. Technical reports.

Much later.

Hey, I'm just as curious what Ronin's going to try to fix up. Perhaps a quiet night at some fancy restaurant? I do have a beautiful silk dress just screaming for a night like that. I honestly hink your idea of a good time is dodging bullets and death somewhere where you can't pronounce the name. So what if I'm into low-impact entertainment most of the time. At least I'm also low-maintenance.

There is much to be said for the gentle caress of music and a soft, slow dance. Enjoy yourself, Little Sister, and make the night your own.

Best wishes.

Unfortunately, Sandy, Bastian, and Jack, my night life right now is rather limited. Hopefully, once I can slam through some of the stuff I'm doing, I can have more... relaxing and intellectually stimulating conversation.

Pbbbbtttttt! Come and get me. :p

Besides, I may have made the comment concerning your flexible dating philosophy but you're the one that offered her lightness of air and drinks.

You know, I like Sakura but I really think you could do better. What is it? Some sort of Asian school girl fetish?

Sakura
Sure. Your night life is "limited" when it's Sandy hitting on you, Bastian suggesting or just me offering a hook up. But as soon as Ronin trots out one of his old mates you're digging out your best silk dress and dusting off the dancing shoes.

Ah... You're into older guys. Why didn't you say so, kiddo.

She's damn right - And that's just the Immigration paperwork!

Oh, and while I have you Sakurako, Just a quick reminder, TK1's CPU time isn't unlimited (close, but not quite). I said you could use it for personal experiments, but if the network slows down again because of another rogue process, I'm going to have to move your experiments to one of the actual experiment servers...

O_o; Damn, forgot I had the remote server connected into the TK mainframe still. Sorry, I was helping SETI analyse data. I turned the program off. I only post here on my own connections. Sorry. frown

Jack:

Hey, it's only a dinner date... It's not like I'm going to get boinked by someone who knew Adam... :p It might be interesting conversation.
Teknokat

In addendum, I saw the alternate server. Pretty snazzy. But, the lighting sucks. But, anything personal will be on my hove server. Just got my new mainframe installed today. ^_^ But I'm still looking for a name for that thing. And don't worry, there won't be an AI being born there. :p

Jack.

Charming as always, you cunning little minx.
And I can only assume that the 'ninja' comment was a very subtle jab at me on your part. Cute. Keep that up and I'll have to unsheathe my rapier wit upon you. And nobody wants that.

Glad to see your still kicking, good sir. Good news, indeed. Best of continued fortune with that whole 'not dying' thing you've been at.

Not that you'll need it.

Endeavor.

The gentleman in question most certainly did not know Adam, this I can guarantee you. And the conversation, I can assume, will at least be interesting.

As for looks, he's as tall, as tan and as heavy as you want him to be. His hair, eye and skin color is whatever you prefer. I was instructed to inform you that the one factor not up for changing was dress. No worries, I'm sure he'll dress just fine.

Dinner sounds lovely. What do you like?

Jack, you may be lucky, but can you stand up to my scorn..I a, sure you know the old saying, "Hell has no furry to match a woman's scorn" ANd that was before they knew about novas.ANd to be honest IF I did go for women, she is too cute for me..I mean just too cute..I think I would go for Apep, a lot of charatcer in that face....

Ronin:

Hm. I'll have to find a place, otherwise it's at mine. I do know how to make up several dishes from different nationalities. I'll just have to make some time to cook up such a dish. Tell him to come naturally.

Jack:

I have nothing but good intentions, Jack. Besides, doing anything on the first date other than a goodnight is quite outside my morals. Oh, glad to see you didn't send yourself to another dimension with your little adventure.

You're cooking for him? Oh yeah, you have no ulterior motives. Best wishes and don't worry about the neighbors talking. From personal experience I can honestly say that whatever they conjecture is usually odder than what really happens. Not always but usually. wink

Unless... This isn't your first time is it?

Sandy
So basically you're not into the whole pigtails, school skirt and teaching her to be a "good girl", eh? Pity, she might have enjoyed the experience. So why haven't you made your move on Apep if she's what gets your engine running?

And yes I can stand scorn. I thrive on it as a matter of fact. Don't sweat getting help if you really do want to try and school me though. I won't. :p

Ronin
Dying is over-rated in my experience. I mean hey, if I bite it then my problems are over right? Besides, people that worry about dying generally do whereas I plan to be here until they drop the curtain and turn off the lights.

Thanks for the nice thoughts though. smile

Who said anything about good looking?

As a species we take the concept of "attractive", knock it on it's ear then take it out for a spin around the planet ten times before lunch. How can you note how much character Apep's face displays, inferring a level of attraction, and then finish with the comment that you would never want to be even friends with her let alone share pleasure or intimacy with her?

You just said you're ignorant, don't care enough to explore or remedy that ignorance, and that the world is just ducky from your point of view. Is that why you're getting miffed at me? Because I'm questioning no only the basis of your assumptions and beliefs but your right to even make those assumptions? Suck it up. And since we're on the subject; which way is that way?

You control fundamental forces of reality, can twist laws of physics and probability like origami and yet you still cling to concepts like that way? Whasamatter? You afraid people might look askance at you for your life and decisions or begin to infer things about your femininity/masculinity? Maybe Mr. Right won't decide you're worth his time to snag hold of and squeeze out a couple of kittens before menopause hits and you complete your three score and ten before shuffling off the mortal coil? Maybe there's some supernatural bogeyman shaking it's finger at your from some higher plane of existance and threatening you with a rotten afterlife if you don't behave?

Do you have any idea how long some of our life expectancies are? Personally, given enough life span, I can see trying EVERYTHING once or twice. Or at the very least examining the possibilities.

So what's the problem here Sandy?

And save yourself some effort. Let's just assume my first warning was my last warning.

Saki
It's not my ears giving rise to smoke. If it was your first time I was going to ask if you needed any advice before you punch the pedal to the floor. We're not all capable of the same things I'd hate to see something unfortunate occur because you didn't have anyone to warn you.

The thing about this is your last chance was ajoke, you know aht those are right..I just saw a movie..SO ar eyou going ot take the Red pill, or the Blue pill?

Well, I am not that way,as from what I know of she thinks that novas are not human.Wile that is an interstign topic to discuse, it at least to me make it nearly fundamtly neerly impossable to grow bonds witht hsoe of the other site. And to call one the lovley, and another things not, dose not always make you narow minded.

I say that I could enjoy her fetures, and the fact that she has the looks that she has strugled for soemthing.ANd still strugles. This dosen't mean I like what she is strugling for.

I gave Bob, honor, even when I think he was doing soemthing wrong.Becuase to him, he was freely do what came to him naturely..To him that best way to live life.In that I say he had good chartacer, would i take him itno my armms, I do not think so.Even if he came back.

And as for misster right, he is dead.He died saving me,and if you knew him, you would know why I loved him.But He is dead,at least to the world. As for fearing old age..I don't I mean I haven't aged a day in all the time I have been a nova..the pictures I have in my house show me looking the same age, for the past seven years.Hell my ahir is the same, not in how I style it.But if I shaved my head when I woke up, my hair would be jsut as long as it was before I shaved it by noon.

So anyway, with all the possibility at your fingertips why do you lock yourself away in that dismal cage and insist on calling it a memorial?

Jack:

That movie has influenced an entire generation. I don't think you can escape it's grasp. So the best thing you can do, is see how far down the rabbit hole goes. As for your response to my last post, it was a joke. It was my way of saying that you worry too much. Trust me, I got my senses about me. If things get rough, I can always bail out.

Everyone Else:

God, I wonder when people will forget that movie. Probably never.

Yeah, it influenced an entire generation but not my generation. I saw that piece of cinematic crap on the same network that still shows "Mr Smith Goes To Washington" and "The Wizard Of Oz."

Bor-IIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG

I think you misunderstand what I meant about offering advice on your prospective sexual liaison. I can offer advice on that too having studied biophysic responses, pressure points, chakras, erogenous zones and being able to smell chemicals down to one part per millionth. Being able to see neural interactions doesn't hurt either.

What I meant was; if this is your first experience with the little death there are some precautions you may want to take. Being able to control quantum under ideal and thoughtful circumstances is one thing. Being able to do it in the midst of an orgasm is something else. It's generally frowned upon to shoot holes in Air Force One just because your toes were beginning to curl as he hits the spot.

I'm betting it would put a damper on the moment with your prospective Lothario too.

Jack, you really read Take the pill,a book released in 1985..It has that in as well, but the truely remarkable thing about the book,is that refer A man with a varry powerful pressence who is over heard bby the main chartacer tlaking to the owner of a club about the one race.As I recalle the word he clearly heard."your a member of the one race, why are you wasting time with these monkies"

Now at the time it was thought to referign all the black people in th e club but in hind sight that could have been Mal...He may have been a Nazi type .. I put my money on Mal,and the main chartacer sees that he is shot at,and maybe even hit...But he dosen't slow down..But you have to read the book..

I can't believe someone said Apep wasn't a good person. It boggles the mind.

Sandy, please ... please do not threaten to school another Elite. It isn't something that most of the take well to. After all, if they weren't a TAD aggressive and egotistical, they probably wouldn't be Elites, right?

Endeavor, babe, if you want to make a good impression, don't drink. Especially any of that homebrew. I don't think doing a pole dance is the atmosphere you are aiming for.

Nah, it couldn't have been Mal because the nova eruptions didn't start until 1998, over ten years after the book was written. It's not in the public domain yet since I can't find it on the OpNet but I'll take a look groundside when I have the chance.

Screw you Jager, I don't expect half the fucks around here to understand me, but you jump on the idiot bandwagon too? You know I'm not a "bad" person. I wouldn't care for you to defend me, but your sarcasm is unatractive.

And to anyone else who views the world as a black and white place, well you can piss off too.

Jack dear,
It almost sounds as if you want Sandy and I to hook up? I don't think I have ever hear of a more ridiculous pairing. Especially if she talks anything like she types. Two minutes of that and it would be off with her head time. But um...if you and Jilly are free... wink

Apep:
There was sarcasm but not aimed at you. I think we know more about each other than either one of us is comfortable. If I've really pissed you off, I do apologize. I just don't think this is the place for real affections to show.

Despite having said that;
From my heart, I do not wish you pain.

Jack:
Duh? I didn't say it was uncontrolled or uncalled for. Just that it was.

Sandy:
Kidding aside. Think about what you just said. You said you were going to stalk someone down and show up at their home uninvited. That ain't funny and saying it could get you hurt ... or worse. Jack has some serious enemies, some who want to see him painfully dead.

I suggest taking a step back.

Endeavor.

Um...you're place? I'm not sure...he...will be very comfortable with that... How about a nice restaurant in Karachi? Or Moscow? Or San Francisco? Or Kyoto? Or Brasilia? Or...um...not your house?

Jack.

Good to know it, man. I plan on watching the house lights go up on the universe, myself. Hope we'll still be around to tell each other 'Good Night' before we leave.

Jager.

Cold, man. Don't be so hard on Apep. I wouldn't dare call her nice in the regard that it implies weakness, but I hardly think she's not-good. I'm sure that she at least sees what she does as proper and right, or else she wouldn't do it.

And what's more important; doing what everyone else thinks is right even if you think it's wrong or doing what you think is right even if everyone else thinks it's wrong?

Slack, man. Cut a little.

ronin, did you miss my last post? Apep is someone I would walk through the sun for.

Forget it.

No, man, don't get me wrong. When I started that last post there was not "last post" to miss. Check the timestamp. I was composing my last post while you were posting yours. Didn't get a chance to see it.

And who are you fooling, man? With what you're capable of, you'd walk through the sun for a ham sammich.
