Freedom comes down to what you accept freedom is. If you live in normal society you can resist but you might go to jail or be killed for not going along with what others deem acceptable behavior is.

Even if you magnify the situation say your Divis Mal. If you didn't like Mount Everest being called the tallest mountain in the world because you know that K12 is actually taller you just go over and blow it up. Or you destroy L.A. because you just don't like it. You could. No one can really stop you. Why doesn't Divis do these things? I can only guess but my guess is because he has set guidelines for himself. Imposed his own morals and controls on himself. Meaning he has limited his freedom. Because true freedom is pretty much anarchy or pure chaos and then if that is the case what is the point? (note: This is no way indicates I support current goverments or laws. The FAA can go fly a kite. I am not registering my fligth paths.)

You don't have to act like it makes you better.

I have learned that raw intellectual power isn't all its cracked up to be, but, as another person would say,
those are baseline expectations of who and what we are.

As time progresses, I am becoming a bigger fan of instinct and individual insight.

Oh, yeah ...

Freedom is never given, it is taken up by its owner.
The same can't be said for it being taken away, though.
