But I should feel alright when the basis for their argument is that Project Utopia is faceless to them? That they can make or repeat any conspiracy theory, rumor or fever dream just because they feel like it or have nothing else to say? That they can say whatever they want without even bothering to think about what they're saying? A couple of days ago GrtMonC said: We have it so that learning things can be fun before simply the act of learning can be seen as wonderful. We have it because lessons taught to us by a felt frog to not be mean seem to take hold a little better than when mom or dad says it while being stern. What you can understand isn't what Bastian can understand or at least be explained in the same way. A carpenter in Amsterdam has a different view than the president of Nigeria. We're here for the benefit of humanity and that's a big group of people that aren't always in agreement and won't come away with the same understanding after hearing the same explanation. Utopia is here to save us. Utopia is here to deliver the better tomorrow. Utopia is the path to the light. Then maybe I need to change some things. We're a big organization with a lot on our plate. It may take a little time.

Whether there is a conspiracy or not behind Utopia there does seem to be a tendency with large organisations to become monolithic. That is to say, organisations become static and prone to react in the same way that they have always done, even when that way is not the most efficient.
Why else would Utopia insist on sending Tn2M into that area after the sad events of the 'Equatorial Wars'? I suspect they will even claim this as a victory too. I hope this is the case as the alternative, that they are throwing Nova's into the cauldron to thin out our numbers, would be unthinkable. Liam, TAG, what-ever, I wish you all the luck in the world in your undertaking.
Holocaust, I hope you're feeling back on track soon, maybe you should consider asking your employers for a change of roles? You may be one of life's pacifists and that is nothing to be ashamed of. Some people simply prefer to remain sensitized to violence.

Project Utopia's multiple failure to both the people they were trying to help, and to the novas they sent illustrates some of the difficulties novas have working under those who can't truly understand them. We'll pay it tomorrow, the next day and probably the day after that. Some of us will pay for a long time. We're Project Utopia.
We're here to assist. You still don't get it. Teen2M was there because some baseline thought it would be a good Public Relations moment for Project Utopia to place your band there. I am not faulting PU novas for wanting to help ... to assist in making the world a better place. I am faulting you for following a less-capable person's directions and serving their adgenda. I am faulting you and yours for working on your knees, heads bowed, when you should be standing tall and looking toward the heavens. I don't care about any Project Utopia conspiracy crap. I despise the organization for its stated purpose. I despise it because it seeks to enslave one race to save another from itself.

TAG, you must, of course, do what you believe is right. I would merely urge you to make sure that the choice is really yours. Where I can, I myself like to help out with animal rights/welfare issues and a year and a half ago I even, shock-horror, helped Utopia's Environmental Services conduct a number of biodiversity surveys in Costa Rica, a task for which my talents are superbly suited. It was entirely my choice and I refused all forms of compensation though of course they offered me money and much more.
Here's another thought, what the hell are Utopia doing throwing essentialy unsupervised teenagers at problems like this? No offence TAG but I remember how bulletproof I thought I was at your age and I hadn't even erupted by that point. I can't imagine what drugs they must have been on the day they came up with Teen2M.

Jager has the idea. Amped, I may not like baselines much, but I do see why they're here. I'll take their money, work for them so long as they respect me. When they stop, I move on. We all hafta make ends meet somehow, and I make good money providing security. I don't think I'm all powerful, hell, very far from it, but I'll take what I can get. Besides by playing by baseline rules they hafta play by them too.
"Ryu, are we gonna die?" "Probably."
