I almost thought of making this a poll...but that would probably get petty and nasty pretty quickly.
My 2 cents:
What's the worst Nova name or title that you've heard of?
The Weevil and Chug-a-bunch come to mind, but for some reason Doctor Worm stands out at present. Not the worst of names...but still, being named after either
a) a They might be Giants Song (not that bad really.) Then again...

Some day somebody else besides me will
Call me by my stage name, they will
Call me dr worm.
Good morning how are you, I’m dr worm
I’m interested in things.
I’m not a real doctor,
But I am a real worm;
I am an actual worm.
I live like a worm.
-They might be Giants

or

b) a villain from the Hanna Barbara cartoon "Blue Falcon and Dynomutt". I can think of no upside to this.

The Japanese have it great with Nova names. Even if it translates to something like "Candy-Rabbit-Droppings" somehow in Japanese these words are bad ass. Some names are so bad they're good. Harvey Wallbanger and Ragnarockette are fairly good examples of these.

Weevil's a good kid and with that quantum its a pretty descriptive name.

Translation's pretty bad assed too. At least into Chinese.

Not to start shit, but Billy Horrorshow is a stinker. Anybody whose name came be thought of in the same breathe as that crappy flick with Bryon James and Lance Henricksen should be ixnayed before aquisition!

wink

Hey, it's ok. I'm used to taking shit for my name....though I lean towards the ClockWork Orange reference myself...or the actual film Horrorshow. Still, it's descriptive for what I do. You catch things on fire, I watch bad movies and other nova's mistakes for a living. It's functional.
And the official name is Horrorshow. Salamander's not a bad name...Juri Salamander is a bit different. I'm cool with just Billy though...I'm too joe average to really go by a superhero name all the time.

Much as I loved her, Julie's nova name of Warlady raised a few smirks. Hell, Codex got a few laughs.

But the best of the worst from Utopia is the Teen Tomorrow A/P flyer who calls himself 'Sky-High'. :p

The only one better is that Pandaimonium chick who calls herself 'Mile-High'. :p
