You do not need to be as good as those who are around you. You Do not need to come from nothing and become the best. You need to learn what you are are, and what you aren't before you try to be become more than what you are.

You need to look at what you have. What you want. What you need. What you have is not always what you want, and what you want is not always what you need.

Madre de Dios!

I don't know what's worse: Elites destroying my restaurant or Elites telling me how I should handle my fucking eruption.

Exile, you are a drama queen and you are not the only new nova in the world. Hell your eruption and life as nova is not the worse I know of. You got off easy compared to some.

Now take that bottle out of your mouth and stand up for yourself, take the help that has been offered to you or shut the fuck up.

At least I say it as it is, instead of pretending to be some kind of psuedo-philosopher.

I have no reason to trust neither nova nor baseline, and I don't pretend to.

So sue me if you don't like what I say.

No, you blind yourself by your own hate. You want to trust someone you trust them. You don't want to, you don't. IF novas as a whole were like they were that night there would be no cities left, but you are blinded by your hate.

I change my previous words:

I don't know what is worse - Elites who trash my restaurant, Elites who tell me how to handle my fucking eruption, or Elites who pretend to be fucking philosophers.

Don't fucking tell me others have it worse than me, and that I should fucking trust people when I have relied on me for my entire life.

Anna you silly, silly girl. You have no idea who I am and what I has happened to me. Maybe you would like to visit my grave? I was dead for over three weeks.

Leave her alone. She doesn't need you picking on her. Obviously, you weren't really dead, otherwise you wouldn't be here. But even if you were really dead, that hardly gives you the right to pick on Exile.

She's entitled to her own opinion. Can't you see how insulting your words are to her? "What you have is not always what you want, and what you want is not always what you need." She has neither her wants or her needs, and you're being cruel to tell her that.

Leave her alone.

Veta a la verga, Y.T.

You don't know shit about me, vos puta pendeja, and how the fuck do you stay dead for three weeks? You dead for three weeks, you start to stink pretty bad.

I was stuck under the collapsed roof of my restaurant for four fucking days, and you tell me that others have had worse eruptions? I still shit myself at being in tight, dark places, and I will never walk right again.

Cuando monos vuelven de mi culo you will understand what I went through, cabrona.

For the love of Bast....

Amateur psychotherapy is only slightly less dangerous than amateur neurosurgery. You're apparently talented at killing people, Y.T., but you're sure as hell not a professional brain-twiddler of either sort.

As for your philosophical musings...to be honest, they fall into the same range as baseline pop-psyche taglines. "Be true to yourself;" "Find your own horizons;" etc. You aren't telling anyone anything that isn't already plastered all over kindergarten walls.

I repeat: thank you, Captain Obvious.

Exile, your restaurant was one of the the good ones as I recall, I know you've received several offers for help and aid already, so I'll leave that unsaid. If you'd like to just talk, I am available. Ibiza was rough on many of us that were there, unfortunately, they haven't allowed any of us that were there back.

As YT is exemplifying, some of us die inside and never recover. Maybe she never had that humane spark, maybe she lost it in the grave, and maybe she left it some place when she found it to be an inconvenient burden on her chosen path.

Exile, let some of us help you. Life should be more than suffering and the agony of a transformed existance.

Well, a lot of decomposition happens do to your from the way your blood act, remove a few pints of it and you would be a amazed what the body does. Still, I would say that refrigeration also helped. Siberia is not know for it's heat. I was there for two weeks. Well, more like 2 months but the first month and half were spent inside. I spent some time back in the states in a morgue and then about three days in a box.

As for your eruption. Great you feel that you are cheated. How about now looking at those that are just dead. You can get better. Things can improve for you.

So you want to have empathy from those around you? That's human. You are scared of being hurt again. That is also human. You blame the masses because what a few did. Still something that is human. So you can take your life as it and not take any risk by trusting those who have offered help or you can do what you are doing now. Either is fine by me, just stop your whining and take what the world has for you.

You should. Even if you don't buy the party line they do good stuff and they will let you walk away. If nothing else it's a good place to get job offers and attract recruiters from the other groups.

No you are a child. You are letting others run you life. You are letting your one bad week fuck up your life. You want to get off the streets, do I don't know Utopia Devries, some random nova, most governments, nearly any power broker or any of the say the fortune 500s or hell the top 1,000s and say I'll work for you and make your terms known. You get off the streets within the end of the day, but that is ask for too much form you. Cause you might have to trust someone else. You little fucktard have the power to whatever the fuck you want, and that seems to be whining and parade around this board in your own self pity.

I've been dead for ten years. I have been dead in the bottom of a bottle for a decade while on the streets. Inhumanity killed my soul and I filled it with alcohol.

Now as a Nova, I can't kill that death with alcohol anymore, and see the truth about humanity. I realize that goodness doesn't exist in the soul of man, for they put novas to death in their wars, while they slaughter one another every day.

Still, my mind is filled with the victims of humanity and they stare back at me with blank, unblinking eyes and, and.......No,nooo!

White Rat, if you look for evil, you will find it. If you refuse to see the good, you will definitely miss it.

You were in pain. You are still in pain. The difference is that now you have the power to act on your perceptions.

FYI, the leading cause of nova death is another nova. Don't assume novas are being led like sheep into slaughter. The sad truth is that they exactly what they are doing. If they can't use baseline causes as an excuse, they will find another.

Evil and good are concepts of human morality. However, I do concede to your point. It is not that I search for evil, but that evil was thrust upon me and, like a parasite, has fed upon my mind. I don't even know if I understand "goodness" anymore, or of what benefit it serves. Someday, maybe, that might change.

Are you in pain? Do you know what it is like to live in pain? What would you do with that power if pain was all you remembered or understood.?

It is not so much that nova deaths disturb me. What bothers me is that they are dying for monkeys. If two novas want to duel to the death, for their own reasons or ideals, that is their decision. I just resent that they die for such human concepts as nations, religions and laws.

There are some novas that I would not mind purging from our ranks. I think they make nova-kind look weak and "human".

Currently in pain ... no.
Have I had to live with a pain that seemed like it would never go away? Yes. Yes I have. I had to want to get better before anything happened.

If two novas want to duel to the death, what does it matter why?

As for the purging ... refer to the sentence above. You have found the religion/nation/law you are willing to kill for. Congrats, but why is your cause any better than anyone else's?

Rat, watch out for the hole. You're close to it, if you're not already in it deep.

The hole is called: Forsaking Humanity "Just Because".

The last bit of humanity any Nova purges from him/herself will be the bad parts, and I don't know of any that have managed that yet. I trust you're cynical enough to agree with me. If they wern't dying for humans, they'd be dying for Novas with the same motivations.

Focusing too much on the humans and defining yourself, and other Novas according to them has to be one of the worst possible ways to get anywhere with your Node.

Bic, I have forsaken humanity because I have witnessed humanity destroy its own children. "Humanity" destroyed my soul. There may come a time when we as novas may be forced to confront man's humanity as they seek to apply it to us.
As Divis Mal said in the Null Manifesto:
  • "...Regulations and laws enacted for the good of Homo sapiens are too easily subverted and misinterpreted to abuse the rights of novas, who are required by destiny to attain their full potential - a goal impossible while abiding by strictures set by beings who are not one's peers and who cannot accurately judge what is "ethical" or "moral" for anything other than their own species."
I would agree.

Jager, I used "purging" to illustrate that I too have no compunction in killing another nova, should I feel it justified. Some novas may choose to take care of their pets, so being a baseline-phile is not enough to warrant such a sentence. Those who do deserve such a fate, are those novas who actively work, as agents of baselines, against my rights as an individual nova, in order to impose human morality on me. Aspects of humanity I follow will be of my own choosing, not theirs, nova or otherwise.

Mr. Rat, if you want to live a life free of baseline morality and ethics, please avoid living in conjunction with baseline society as well. Do not seek to impose your vision upon a society you do not wish to be a part of.

From the moment of our eruption, their vision is imposed upon us. If we do not agree or submit to it, we are told to leave it. It is convenient that you give the option of assimilation or exile, but never the option of changing the system.

Ms. Ashnod, no one has suggested any changes to the system except to violate it as they see fit without any social responsibility or remorse. Forcing humanity to live at our whims is no better than having humanity cage us within their own perception of what we should be.

Yet you seem completely at ease with remaining under humanity's perception...intriguing.

Hmmm. No one has suggested change, Mr. Preston? The only suggestions have been those encouraging violations? I find it hard to believe that you would say that.

Suggestions have been made. One of our own posters here is doing that as we speak. Whether or not you agree with her or any of the others is not the point. It is that you never conceed that changing the system can or should occur as a third option.

Your perceptions of what I feel are not relevant. I do what I do for my own reasons.

Ashnod, no one has suggested change that is positive for novas. Self responsibility is the road to bloodshed and sorrow. If the sum total of the suggestions remain the Null Manifesto, we are going nowhere.
If all you can suggest is that the old system has no value, so scrap it we are heading to that place were we each have our fingers on each other's throats.
I listen to all proposals out there. I reason them through and look for the positive. I am still looking for the one that has a prayer.

Yet, we have seen systems change. We have sen systems that used to have kings that were Gods. Then Kings that were chosen by the Gods. Then bloodlines chosen by God. Now people choose at least on some level who leads them.

Systems have been scrapped and systems been made. Some are better some are worse.Don't be foolish enough to think we have the best one you can make.
