Wakinyan's rear paws dug into the rough stone as he came to a hard stop. His adversary had thrown him far and was advancing on him again. Pax sneered as he closed on the warped and tainted Nova.

"We don't need your kind among us freak. Just think of what I am doing as a favor!" With that Pax launched a new volley of telekinetic might against the Griffin. This timethe younger Nova was prepared crossing his arms in front of him he held off the worst part of the blast, still it managed to push him back even more.

Wakinyan took the initiative and pounced, covering the distance between him and his assailant in a instant. He screeched loudly as his claws slashed across Pax again and again. His shield was strong and the griffin knew his attacks where not accomplishing what needed to in order for him to survive the encounter.

"Enough!" Pax roared as he hurled the younger Nova back to the ground. With hands outstretched he gathered his power and struck in a blinding flash of blue energy. The explosion throwing up a huge cloud of debris as a result of the earth shattering attack.

Pax floated above the cloud of debris in smug victory. A victory that was cut short as he saw the still standing Griffin within the settling smoke and debris.

Covered in a aura of golden light the now yellow fur and feathered Wakinyan smiled as he stood defiantly against the Utopian oppressor. "Looks like you failed baldy!" The now Super-Griffin was on his enemy instantly, landing earth shattering punch after punch. Each blow landing harder than the first before he finally broke off his attack against the now bruised and battered Team Tomorrow leader. "Give it up and go home Pax." Wakinyan turned away from the obviously outmatched contest.

"No this cannot be happening!" Pax screamed with a wild eyed look in his eyes. "Not again! I won't let you win!' Pax blazed in blue energy as he launched his 'Fist of Peace' attack on the back of the Super-Griffin.

Wakinyan sensed it coming and pivoted to meet the attack head on. His taloned paws gathered at his side and he screamed "Kamehameha!" His hands shot forth firing a blinding bolt of golden white energy straight into Pax's attack brushing it aside as if it weren't even there. The column of energy traveled toward the screaming Team Tomorrow leader, enveloping him before destroying him utterly.

Wakinyan smirked as the battle ended. Suddenly all the damage that the battle had wrought disappeared like smoke in the wind. The shimmering aura faded from around the Griffin as his coat turned back to it's more normal browns.

He dismissed the illusions with a sigh and muttered. "Wow, now I know I am bored."
