Agnelli will have enough proof to pin Rob Jefferson, with subverting resourese. Both in the ways that drove Agnelli to leave, and his "training" mission.

I ask this, because I think some people have been unhappy with some of the actions I have taken on this board.

What do you consider "enough proof" anyway? That is also important.

No, because of the way Agnelli handled it. She took off, she ran and she posted things that would lend weight to the idea that Utopia is a secretive, evil organization that tends to eliminate its problem employees.

Utopia would have been fine with her if she took her proof through the chain of command and kept it in house. Their public appearence is extremely important to them and Agnelli gave them a black eye. Whether or not she meant to is meaningless.

They'd dump her and make it seem like it was for her own good and the good of the world. Something along the lines of it being obvious that Agnelli is incapable of handling the stress and level of dedication. While she obviously cares very deeply, her actions show that she isn't willing to take the big picture into account and play by the rules. And with the 'rogue' agents (you know, those Proteus agents who actually get caught doing something icky) still fresh in everyone's minds Utopia wants to win back the trust of everyone by keeping the expectations of their agents behavior at the very highest. Then Agnelli gets a pat on the head and shown the door. Officially nothing more than a parting of ways but unofficially she'd be persona non grata big time.

Unlikely, but it does depend on what the evidence is.

If she nails the guy but finesses it so that he comes off as a rogue (no damage to Utopia), Utopia might let her in. It could conceivably be better PR to gloss over the fact that she left and show that Utopia is successfully dealing with internal problems. However, this would be a very difficult senario to pull off.

Even in this situation, Utopia would be unhappy with her (ref. Prodigy's post above), and would most likely start a paper trail trail leading up to a dismissal later on. She'd also probably end up as a bench warmer until they let her go.

I personally thinking about letting her back in because it would be easier for Proteus to make a martyr of her. They get to spin the scandal into positive PR (see, they listen to complaints about abuse of power), then cash in again when Terats kill her in the line of duty.

Dealing with her complaints, but not letting her back in, would be the honorable thing to do, but I don't see it.

Mind you, I don't think she has enough evidence to do more than give the Project another black eye and hurt a few people's careers.

I doubt it personally, because she didn't follow procedure and has pretty much made a jackass of herself in public. As Prodigy and Alex Craft said, as well.

It seems a foregone conclusion that she will have cast Project Utopia in a poor light. This being the case, their (public) response to her actions will be driven by public relations and nothing else. Her career is over whether they allow her to work for them or not.

In one scenario she'd be made a martyr by Proteus, murdered for her efforts as an undercover Utopian just as the trap was sprung neutralize a cabal of outsiders manipulating Utopian resources. Too subtle to blame on the Terragen but eventually Uttopia is going to find time to give the Directive a little payback and taste of their own medicine.

Can't picture the project as being forgiving. Putting the Project's well being ahead is what gets people promoted and this is going to make people doubt Agnelli's intentions and reasons.

She went outside the project which translates as stabbing the project in the back. There are some that will see her point and sympathze... then go out of their way to make sure she never gets involved in anything of importannce eve again.
