Apparently I can now accept news submissions. Let's have some guidelines:
3. They don't have to be your character centric. What I've been trying to do is less justify or support character actions (which is done best through fiction) but to give us a background to the lives we have as novas. The occasional character centric item is fine, but the only suggestions I've ever received have all been character centric. What about releases about the new Directive-positive movie? What about a new invention (having nothing to do with your character) and industry fears how it might affect the economy? Stuff like that.
Here is the problem, in world where there are many guide line and rules, and the only true thing you can control is your character's actions, and then not always. You can't freely say "such and such invented this, or that"At least without some good backing. I would point out that a topic that would be interesting is a an easy and cheep way to make glassed titanium. You can make it now, but it is costly and hard. But Aberrant with all it's tech is still close to our in a lot of ways.
