Here are some quick rules to give everyone something to think about. Please ask any questions that you may have about this.

In this section, players can submit new powers, enhancements or whatever they would like to the site to be considered an expansion to the rules/setting for OpNet play. One very important thing that I want to address is that every submission should be considered on how it will make roleplaying here more enjoyable for the community.

The user submits something to the site that they want to be included in the shared universe. To post something, the user will have to copy the code from the template section. If the code doesn't exist for what you would like to submit, ask and we'll see what we can do. All submissions should be properly formatted and free of spelling mistakes and serious grammer problems (yes, I do understand that I require more from you all than WW does from it's staff)

Once posted, we require that at least 5 unique senior members (you have 100 posts, which is indicated by saying Nova beside your name) to review it and give it their backing, excluding the person that submitted it. This makes it the entire site's duty to think through the submission for how it could affect the world and whether it should be considered for inclusion.

After people are happy, the original poster reposts the idea with the list of the 5 members that back their idea. Then the concept is reviewed by Director Prime and myself. If the idea is accepted by us, then it is posted to the approved list of additions to the N! Prime Aberrant world.

If it is a power/enhancement/gadget the player that created it will be allowed to have the option to have their character be the only one with the for a period of 1 month. No other characters will have access to it until 1 month after it's approval. This gives the person creating it some time to show it off. It's their reward for creating it, but ultimately it's free for everyone to use.

If an idea isn't accepted, it will be sent back for them to rethink it. The idea can not be resubmitted until 3 months later. If a member supports an idea and it is rejected, they can't support another idea for 3 months time. This eliminates someone being trigger happy and just supporting everything there is.

This, IMHO, puts the ball in the players court. If you want additions to the site rules, then you have to be willing to think the the reprecussions of adding the element into play here.

A couple quick suggestions. Name all threads with the type of rule it is, followed by the name of the rule.

Also, please only submit 1 item per thread. This will make it easier for me to track.

No problem. It was my fault for not saying it in the previous post. The way things work will always change as we go to try and find better solutions.

I think this is a bit rash if you are wanting to put what happens into publics hands. Its one thing to want to make people think before they vote, but this seems to punish people who support unpopular idea's (especially when people may or may not read this forum). And really, I dont think that many people on this board would post a vote without reading it and thinking about it.

I would suggest changing it to read that a person must write a reason for their support in order to be counted. That way a person has to think about it before they post. This would allow people to support things without fear of having the priveledge taken away becuase they supported an unpopular idea.
