Appearance: Stigmata is not an unattractive woman, but what beauty she may have had before eruption is masked by her aberrations. What is most unsettling is her purple glowing vein structure that radiates through her blood red skin. Her eyes look as if they are swirling pools of blood, and occasionally, a third eye on her forehead is seen. Complimented by a faint scent of blood that emanates from her, baselines in her presence often find their stomachs churning. Stigmata’s purple hair is worn short and disheveled. She usually dresses in short plaid mini-skirts and combat boots. She’s taken to wearing simple backless shirts to show off an intricate tribal branding that covers her shoulders. She also wears a piercing in her brow, labret, and several in her ears.

Powers: Stigmata has complete mastery over her own blood, even to a cellular level. She seems to be able to create endless amounts of it and diminish it as well. She can shape it at will and harden it into any shape or hue she desires, although she seems to prefer it in its natural color. She controls it with extreme precision and has created with it a form of body art that she simply calls Bloodwork, combining elements of barking, threading and conventional tattooing. It’s said she can look at the quantum signature of a nova and create a piece that perfectly compliments the novas quantum essence. She is also able to quickly regenerates from the wounds caused when the blood exits her skin.

Known facts: Florida was born to single mother, Darla Keyes, on October 13, 1988 in Flint, Michigan. She grew up in a small trailer park with her mother, but dropped out of high school and ran away to Detroit shortly after her mother re-married in 2005. Prior to eruption, she racked up a criminal record which includes minor crimes such as drug abuse and possession, assault, misdemeanor theft, and trespassing. After a brief stay at a correctional facility, Florida returned to her bad habits and eventually a heroine overdose led to her eruption in 2010. Shortly after, a confused and sober Florida returned to Flint to make amends with her mother, and was convinced that going to a Rashoud facility was the best thing for her.

Florida, now calling herself Stigmata continues to reside in Flint. She owns a small body art parlor which has recently been closed to the public. For the most part, Stigmata keeps to herself and enjoys her privacy. She is a lover of music and is occasionally seen at both Novox concerts and lesser know clubs.
