Physical Appearance: Prior to his eruption, J.C. was an average height American male. His hair was black and long, usually tied back to keep it out of his face. He was never seen without the glasses needed to correct his poor vision. J.C. held a level of attraction mediocre to humans. After his eruption the only visible change in his appearance is that his hair has been bleached white, and he is no longer seen with his glasses.

J.C. is typically wearing a video game T-shirt with black pants and ankle high boots. He always has a laptop computer with him and is always wearing dark gray trenchcoat.

Known Powers: Bandwidth has the ability to manipulate electronics and computer systems to his will. Bandwidth can also relocate himself very quickly by stepping into an Opnet server and stepping out of another. The last known ability Bandwidth possesses is a enhanced resistance to magnetic attacks. Along with these powers Bandwidth's intelligence has increased along with many of his other attributes, sufficiently bringing them into the Nova range.

Background and Eruption: J.C. was very intelligent in Baseline standards. He possesses a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Engineering, and had just finished defending the Thesis for his Computer Science PhD at the time of his eruption. Little is known about the exact happenings, but from what he can recall he had just returned from campus and decided to play an Opnet game. The servers were not agreeing with him and the threat of his character that he had worked for months on dying was only compounding the stress he fealt over his Thesis. Suddenly he vanished from his seat, appearing at the server farm where the routing system was mysteriously reprogrammed and optimized. J.C. then "stepped" back through the server returning to his seat. He was discovered by his roommate several hours later whereupon he was taken to the hospital and the fact he had erupted was revealed to him. Since his eruption he has refused any help from a Rashoud facility.

J.C. is originally from a small town in Louisiana, living in an area secluded from most technology. His parents were cattle farmers and hoped he would inherit the family farm one day. J.C. excluded himself from the trade claiming "there are bigger things in this world for me." That statement caused much trouble between him and his family life and ultimately led to his parents refusing to support him throughout school and his dedication to his studies.

Since his eruption, J.C. has become a security consultant and a systems admin for the gaming corporation that originally brought about his eruption. He claims he owes them a favor for his newfound talents so he has agreed to use his ability to work on several projects simultaneously and working for days at a time to better the company.
