Appearance/First Impressions:
Appearance does vary but in a normal environment (see powers - below) the three things people notice straight away are the bulging forehead (caused by taint and a large node), a bright orange glow (taint again) and the Eufiber clothing (usually tie dyed all over). Looking more closely one notices the blue eyes, bland/homely looks, stragly dark hair and the lop-sided grin which he habitually wears. Most novas find him easy to get on with straight away but because of his high taint baselines tend to feel distinctly uneasy in his physical prescence though they can't quite put their finger on why.

Known Powers:
Adaptability Walkers physical appearance does vary considerably depending on what environment he is in. He changes favourably to be able to survive in any environment from the bottom of the ocean to the depths of space. Force Field The orange glow around him can flare out slightly turning into a field that can absorb attacks. Pretercognition Walker can tune into impressions and visions from both past and future though reportedly he finds doing this disturbing and is something he avoids if he can help it. Warp Walker can create a portal to distant places which appears as a two dimensional picture hanging in space surrounded by - virtual photons leaking into existence around the nondimensional edges - that's an orange glow to you or me. Nature Mastery Walker can communicate with both plants and animals via a form of telepathy. Presumably he can also exert control as well but has never been known to do so. Mega-Wits/Mega-Percepetion Walker has a sharp mind though rather than this representing itself as enhanced IQ it shows as a general quickness of thought and extrordinary powers of perception. His enhanced senses can reputedly even hear radio signals and see into infra-red and ultra-violet wavelengths. Shapeshift Walker has recently claimed the ability to be able to control his physical shape, so far no evidence of this has come to light.

Known Eruption Details: September 1998
Whilst on a yachting holiday in the Med with his family Simon developed a splitting headache and started suffering from weird hallucinations in which he was involed in a storm at sea and could hear the voices of sea creatures talking to him. Mentioning only his headache he went below decks while his concerned family headed for the nearest port to look for a doctor. When a sudden storm broke out threatening the lives of all on board Simon erupted, as the mast fell he reflexivly threw up the orange glowing forcefield which forever after never quiet left him, remaining as an orange glow. On deck he warped his family and himself to safety and realised that the effects of the Galatea explosion had worked their consequences on him, he'd become what was being called a Nova.

Other Known Facts:
English, of upper-middle class background his pre-eruption history is unremarkable, single, a number of mundane middle management jobs. Very little is known of Walker Between Worlds, or simply Walker, as Simon now called himself, from after eruption until early 2012. Walker himself claims that he went into hiding after being troubled by some visions of the future he had had. He says he supported himself for a year through minor criminal activity and winning lottery tickets whilst experimenting with pushing the scope of his powers, especially his warp gate ability, having a natural wanderlust. Having learned that he could survive anywhere, when he opened a gate to another solar system he went through, reasoning that it would make a safe hideaway and that he could come back anytime. However it proved a pure fluke that he opened a gate that far. It took him over 10 years to get back. Since being back on earth he dropped in and out of the limelight a number of times being described by the media as an eccentric recluse. Walker had become a member of the Daedalus League helping in transport with scientific expeditions to Lunar, Mars, Jupiter + Moons and several near earth asteriods. He rapidly rose to be treasurer of the organisation, albeit briefly, in late 2013. What exactly happened in late 2013 remains a bit of mystery but himself and a fellow member of the League, Kovsky, seemed to vanish completely amid allegations of S&T violations and moneylaundering. The League's accounts were audited and they were exonerated completely of any involvement in dodgy activities. But the rumour is the League wouldn't exactly welcome Walker or Kovsky back with open arms and claim that Walker manipulated them for his own ends.

If it's true that Walker is back it's probably gonna mean trouble for somebody.
