Date of Birth: July 12th, 1988

Appearance:

Pulse is a caucasian woman appearing in her early twenties with blue eyes and long brown hair. Most photos have her keeping it in two long ponytails tied low near the back of her neck. She is often seen wearing a female-cut tuxedo working high profile security for celebrities and foreign visitors. Other photos circulating have her in form-fitting black BDU's and french-braided hair. A few rare shots of her exist in a blue evening gown.

Powers:
Her nova handle comes from the glowing green energy she generates, which "pulses" in perfect synch with her heartbeat.

Her pulse "fields" are incredibly hard to penetrate, and she can create a variety of different ones for different defensive purposes, from stopping machine gun fire to holding back water. One variety is so supple that it takes the form of prehensile tendrils extending from her fingers.

She also appears to have heightened levels of physical qualities, and erupted with a medical library's worth of knowledge.

Known Facts

Sarah McIntyre was born on July 12th of 1988 to Dr. Daniel McIntyre (a pediatrician) and Elaine McIntyre. She is the youngest of three siblings (two brothers: Ian, born in 1980 and Jesse, born in 1984).

Enough exposure to her father's career in St. Louis led to her own desire to be a physician as well. Bright throughout high school, she worked hard and managed to get accepted into John Hopkins University. In her second year as an undergrad, she erupted when a shelf of texts in the library accidently toppled over and nearly crushed her.

Her eruption in January of 2008 gave her fields of pulsing green energy that she could shape and bend that protected her as the volumes fell. She also absorbed the vast majority of knowledge contained within, or so she believes, as she came out of the experience with the skills and knowledge of a veteran surgeon. She went to the New York Rashoud Facility, where she spent three weeks before returning to John Hopkins.

Immediately registering the name of "Pulse" with A. Lexington, she pressured the university to allow her to graduate with a Doctor of Medicine degree several years early, eventually succeeding with the backing of several members of the staff in March of 2008. Excited by her new abilities and not wishing to settle for a normal medical practice, she approached the DeVries agency in April of 2008.

In the years since, as her "pulse" fields have increased dramatically in strength, she's been accepting more dangerous missions, much to the chagrin of her family. She often doubles as a combat medic on multi-Elite missions due to her extensive medical knowledge.

Her name has yet to appear on any list of top combat Elites due to the nature of her abilities.
