Appearance: Rumble is tall like a basketballer and built like a quarterback with the typical bronze skin and straight black hair of a Native American. His most striking feature is his turquoise-green eyes. When not performing his duties, he dresses to suit the occasion, favouring jeans and a t-shirt when lounging around or a smart black suit with a white shirt and no tie when having to be more formal. His uniform is the standard T2M suit of eufiber.

Background: Before his eruption in March, 2005, Daniel Shadowmoon had an exemplary record in the military, having served for five years in Delta Force and four years in the United Nations as one of America's Blue Berets contingent. He was noted for being cool under fire, laidback and easygoing with troops of all backgrounds, though his commanding gifts were scant to say the least. He achieved the rank of Sergeant-Major before being mustered out due to a wound collected during service in Kosovo in 1996.

The next nine years were quiet for Daniel. He worked in landscaping, contributed to the cultural heritage of the Navajo by learning the traditional sand-paintings and took up silversmithing as a hobby. Life was predictable until the day he saw a mountain-climber fall off the sacred Shiprock Mountain. The soil and stone answered him, coming to the aid of the hapless young woman.

To prevent India Syndrome on the reservation, the elders (including his aged mother Michelle) suggested that he take up duties with Project Utopia, citing his previous experience with the Blue Berets. He agreed and was recruited into Project Eden under Antaeus before being reassigned to Team Tomorrow when Caestus Pax learnt of his military record.

These days, the mild-mannered Navajo serves in T2M: Americas as the main 'bullet-sponge' as he likes to call it. There are rumours circulating about him and the ex-dancer Maria 'Serendipity' Fianelli - all based on the single picture taken of them recently at the taking down of a violent Hispanic street-gang in New York City.

Powers: Rumble has control of earth and stone that is similar to Tremor of T2M: Europe's but more inclined to shaping than anything else. He can crush or imprison opponents, shape the earth in many ways and defend himself against attacks.

He is also extremely athletic physically and blessed with an extraordinary mind, both at medium to high superhuman levels.

Skills: Daniel was an elite soldier before eruption and his quantum expression has only enhanced that aspect of his personal skills. He has a natural affinity for geology that is on a par with Tremor's, a gift from his eruption as his education was rather average. Otherwise, he is just another member of T2M, with the same skill-sets.

Personality: Daniel is laidback, friendly, easygoing and ready with a joke. His steady nature and thoughtfulness have made him slow to react in social occasions but more than makes up for it when he points out a weakness no one else has noticed. He is slow, but not stupid, cautious, but not stolid. It takes a lot to make him hate someone, but he holds grudges, as a freelance elite named Jarnseaxa learnt to her sorrow when she killed a village militia in Paraguay and T2M was sent in to bring her down. They'd encountered each other before in Colombia when she was working for the Medellin and it was hate at first sight. Jarnseaxa was brought in that day and is currently serving time at Bahrain.

He is a poor commander and has no insight into the behaviour of other people beyond the obvious - as an incident involving the Taiwanese and Chinese ambassadors to the United Nations in his Blue Beret days attest. It still comes up.
