Powers:Torrent is known for his impressive control of water and his mastery of air pressure. In addition to those twin areas of expertise, Torrent was among the most charismatic and attractive members of Team Tommorow before his abrupt retirement a year ago.

Glen "Torrent" Marukami was born to an immigrant South Korean mother and an American GI in San Diego in 1990. Glen was a precocious young boy who excelled in all areas but his studies. He was recruited D-I in football and basketball, but it was surfing that captured his heart.

He spent the years after high school searching for the perfect wave, and while the Novas had captured the professional surfing scene, Glen made due just getting by, living in the third world on a meager savings and the occasional check from mom and dad.

It was in search for the perfect wave that Glen erupted attempting to surf a hurricane swell in the Carribean. The adrenaline and a failed attempt to ride an eighteen foot swell finally snapped and triggered Glen's eruption, granting him control of the storm and the waves beneath him. His eruption enhanced his already glowing physique, and when he returned to the shore, he made his way in a haze to the Mexico City Rashoud facility.

Once there, Glen's physical form made him an excellent candidate for Team Tommorrow, and Ana took him under her wing for a time. Glen participated in a handful of endeavors, just long enough to catch the cameras a couple of times.

Once on the cameras, he couldn't come off of them. He loved the limelight more than the action, and after cashing a few more Team Tommorrow checks quickly gave up the dangerous lifestyle of Team Tommorrow to cash checks portraying them on the big screen. While the Team wasn't pleased, it didn't show outwardly and Glen was such an easy going type that it truely was hard to get and stay mad at him.

In recent days, Glen has been seen less and less, seemingly tired of the media circus that so often surrounds him in Los Angeles, and taking in more Nova related and exclusive events.
