New question. "Erupted within the past two months". Does this rule out people joining the forum and then erupting? If you do that, do you earn nova experience?

Much like OpNet - 2016, I believe OpNet - 2008 would follow the model of a board that's for novas only. Much like what I said, each character is a nova that's erupted within the last two months and it would imply that each character has erupted.

I suppose we could all start as baselines and then write a fiction about our eruption and the subsequent time spent in a Rashoud facility. Once that fiction is complete, your character is officially a N! Nova.
The current board isn't for novas only. We let in psiads. We let in A! types. We even let in baselines. They are rare only because everyone wants to play novas.
But are we going to actively limit the new board to novas only?

Singularity: ...for simplicity's sake, I would prefer limiting it to novas.
Time for a poll?
Although this would raise the issue of how to create the other classes. Baselines are simple (aka pre-novas)... I guess we could use the standard rules for A! and Psiads as well (which goes a long way to explain why people want novas, the weaker classes are, well, weaker). But if the point of the new forum is a lower power level, then I'm not sure we should be dropping the other classes.

No reason not to include baselines, though. I mean, admittedly it's not going to be a popular choice, but at least for the people wanting to play out their character pre-eruption, it should be apossiblity. Plus, we have decent rules for them.
