The good news is that Cody is easy to NPC, being mute and all and for now we can safely assume he is eating with the others and observing everything very closely.

It occures to me that our limited manpower resources issues and our "find the crew jobs as the movers and shakers in society" issue might solve each other.

About half the crew will prefer to stay aboard the ship and live out their lives there in comfort, the other half will accept your offer to set them up as business moguls working for you.

The advantages are obvious, the disads are most of us had better pick up Adaptability considering we could be stuck on this timeline for the next century. On that subject Appearance Alteration is looking pretty attractive for Steve right now. He could thus build an economic empire, pretend to age, then periodically hand things over to his "son".

Now that the society is established and everyone has made themselves known. I would like summary from each of you on what you plan to accomplish in the next year, the next 5 years and the next 10. That way I can post some large updates. If you guys want to actually rp out some scenes that would be great, but since we can't possibly rp out 100+ years I figure I will advance things in chunks as we go along.

Reason I need the three sets of plans is that within 10 years things will be starting to deviate from the original timeline significantly enough to make aspects of your own history irrelevant. Beyond 10 years things are in completely new territory.

What you have changed or done so far:
1) Lorean has established offices in every major city in the world and made the beginnings of an information network second to none in this time period.

2) Omar has created a 'free' press and begun a movement for Arab independence which is in it's infancy at this point but already looking to Ziggurat as their inspiriation.

3) Cody and Steve have 'adjusted' the three major soviet leaders and placed spies in their inner circles. The soviet union is headed for colapse/restructuring in the next few years.

4) Morgan with help from Cody has arranged for debt forgiveness for Germany and begun to lay the foundation for it's economic reconstruction.

5) Steve and Cody have caused the US to join the League of Nations and begun to 'adjust' the key people in major countries to support the league and give it a stronger role in governing the planet. They are in fact beginning a New World Order movement.

6) Andrew has been working towards a scientific union that can help to promote the 'developments' we want released and will limit nuclear proliferation partly through cornering the market on the materials.

7) The two new members of the crew have spent the last year honing their skills and studying up on our own history so that they can participate in the venture on an equal footing. They are ready to step into the forefront now.

8) We have apparently convinced Michael Donigal to join with us in helping to create a better future. (I say apparently since it has only been a week, but he seems sincere.)

9) Max Mercer has established the Aeon Society and agreed to use it's power and influence to support your efforts.

Anyway, that's where things stand now. The year is 1923, but I've honestly forgotten what the actual date is, May I think. It's about a year and a month since the Hammersmith event. We'll call it June 1st, 1923.

Once Omar returns to Baghdad, he will begin the process of gaining influence and followers. Once he had enough suport, he will try to divest the region from European Colonialism - peacefully. Once done, he will begin to build a series of schools and universities around the region. In those schools, the philosophies of Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, and John Adams will be taught along with science, history, and languages. As the children are being informed about democratic ideals, the adults will be as well. In his newspapers, weekly exposes about the benefits of democracy, Federalism, and freedom will be run. A large emphasis will be put on creating a unique Arab and Persian form of Indirect Democracy, as opposed to a carbon copy of that in the US.

Money. Steve has taken a fair hunk of the gold and made investments with the idea of becoming a big mover and shaker in the next 10 years or so.

Oil. Andrew is taking steps to lower it's importance. I've done a bit of reading and electric buses were around before the 1920's... problem is that whole technology got a bad smell because it was highjacked by some con men.

Heading off the Great Depression through Banking and Economic Reform.

Andrew has his hands full with his current ongoing activities. Every 6 months or year he'll "invent" something new and patent it through a new ID. He'll sell the rights to the patent to a shell corp that he sets up (maybe Courier and a couple crew members can help him with that). Basically he's going to create a true megacorp with thier fingers in any given technology pool that he feels the need to exploit/update. Unlike a traditional corp though his will be working on maintaining low cost high quality products at the expense of profitability (since we don't care all that much).

He's set himself up as a scientist as well and has at least another 20-30 years before he would need to retire so basically he can relate new theory and such as he likes, the biggest drawback there is that he needs to work at a "human" pace to avoid any suspicion.

He'll continue to push his stockpiling program as well, gathering up all nuclear materials and mines. When we hit the 1940s he should control pretty much all of the usable material on earth. If we see the need we can start allowing nuclear power to proliferate via his company.

He'll need to maintain thre primary IDs:

Andrew Murphy - works with Aeon
The Scientist - works with men like Einstien and Oppenhiemer and other physicists and scientist
The CEO - head of the Corp (we'll need a name) and world renowned philanthropist
Others - as needed to "invent" new technology

He'll need help from the following:
Steve - to help him get the buisness rolling and keep things working smoothly, Steve's intellect is better than Andrew's and he seems to have a better grasp on people skills
The Crew - he'll need a couple of loyal people to run the corp under him and allow him to be absent while in his other guises.
Omar, Cody, and Morgan - help getting into their regions of influence, keeping tabs on nuclear materials and bringing them under their control.

Lastly ...

In order to matain complete control over the nuclear material and minimize issues with containment I think we need to establish a lunar storage facility ...

And I should mention that Andrew has been working on a method to clone himself using his shapeshifting powers. If he manages to do this he'll be able to continue his own plans and provide additional help to the others

RE: One Year Plans
1) Ask Lorrian out to dinner and dancing.
2) See that Aeon gets off to a good start.
2a) Research their members and foes.
2b) See that any novas we find are given proper information about taint.
2c) Push hard against some of their bigger foes before said foes get really organized.

RE: Five Year Plans
1) Finish up economic reforms which should avoid the great Depression.
2) Finish publishing the various economic theories on how a modern economy works.
3) Colapse and/or transformation of USSR.
4) Spread of ideas from #1 and #2.

RE: 10 Year Plans
1) Be rich enough to be able to push for various things without using mind control.
2) Break up of China (if desireable).
3) Continue take over of media.
4) Give the control of the media a test run by going public with what's going on in the South (start of civil rights movement and confrontation of racism).

You're going to need alot of control of the media before you tackle racism, and you'd best start by approaching in a round about way. Don't try and tackle that one head on or you will find yourself in deep water.

To be clear, I'm aware that the KKK is at the peak of their power, and this issue isn't going to go away any time soon.

My intention is to simply raise awareness of what's going on, i.e. to stop averting people's eyes to this. And yes, the effort may fail and this may be an issue we need to revist.

One of the things that might help is if we replace Charles Lindbergh with a black man. He's going to do his thing in 1927, so technically this would be something to put in the 5 year plan. However he's going to be one of the most famous men of this era and is going to be a universal hero. It'd be interesting to announce to the world that the ocean has been crossed, then have the world setter be black. It might be a good way to create a hero to head up the civil rights movement.


EDIT: And the name of Steve's "Let's invest money" corp will be "CSI", which is short for Courier, Steve, Inc as well as "Crime Scene Investigation". It will be a private company.

Np. Once we get this briefing over with, I will make a big update and introduce a new situation. I think I will go ahead and make it a Chapter break too since I had someone express interest in joining the game. If so I will assign some experience, but it will be a smaller amount since we really haven't progressed the story very far in this chapter, or at least we haven't done as much as in past chapters.

Good posts all. I am getting to go to the Hot Springs for a couple days, my reward for working so hard this last month. I'll be away from my computer til Thursday so move ahead if you need to. I don't see Cody as one for presentations really and i already spoke privately with Fox about what he is up to. There *are* some things Cody wants to do...mostly about cutting off corruption in various sectors on the planet (and he *knows* who is naughty or nice at this point...heh).

Other than that I still feel like his main goal is finding out more on the Watchers and other aliens...BUT he doesnt want to say so in front of Lorean since they are probably watching her too. He will say something privately on that note to Courier...on Thursday when I am back in front of compy.

Sorry! Didnt mean to ignore ya. Its just that I had already posted Cody was scanning for the Nova and IIRC telepathy usually only works on one mind at a time. You could easily talk with him over the usual communications device (which is telepathicaly connected to everyone anyway). Its just that a telepathic scan is a *far* more direct means of locating someone even more than searching from the air.

You can give directions to the others through the link or they can simply follow Cody as he makes his way through the burning streets.
