Omar was tired. He had use a good bit of energy in the battle and needed some food and sleep. His satisfaction, at having wrought some justice on the enemy, was evident on his face. He was also proud at saving everone's lives, and he made sure everyone knew it.
Even though he acted out of pre-emtive self preservation, he had killed a man..it was something he'd never done before. It made him wonder if the man he killed had a family, and how sad they would be.
Omar quietly went to his gear and began to eat. He then fell asleep.
