Description: Changeling is jet black in color. His skin also seems to refract light like an oil slick. He lost the hair on his head at an early age, just like his father and grandfather. He has average looks, and some might even say he is a little 'pudgy'. Of course this is only his natural form.

Eruption: Zachary worked as an engineer for British Petroleum. He was responsible for the construction and repair of deep ocean oil rigs. His responsiblities also included environmental clean-up whenever an oil spill occurred. His position was mainly an advisory roll and he was the team leader of the BP team with those responsibilities. He made a good living.

On one late Fall afternoon, a large swell, coupled with high winds, rammed a large freighter against the rig. Oil poured into the ocean from the crippled rig, as it leaned dangerously to one side. They called in Zach and his team to examine the rig's structural integrity, and to ascertain reparability . The storm was still raging, when they began the assessment. They hadn't finished the structural assessment on the rig, or on spill containment, when a large wave hit the rig. It's mammoth pilons collapsed, dumping it and all its contents into the oil covered North Sea.

When Team Tomorrow Europe reached the location, Zachary was the only survivor. Changeling was discovered unconscious and face down in the oil slick. He was taken to the London Rashoud facility.

Known Powers and Abilities Changeling has the unique ability to simultaneously mimic any form of matter or energy touched and take any form desired. He has been told that his possible forms are almost infinite, in shape and substance.

Due to the unique nature of his eruption, and possibly related to his ability to change substances, he will kill any Eufiber he wears. He also has a negative effect on plants and animals if he is around them for an extended period.

He is highly intelligent, and an accomplished structural engineer. He has Masters in both Mechanical and Structural Engineering from Oxford. He is currently working on designing deep sea oil rigs for British Petroleum. Because of his environmentally unfriendly job, and his minor deleterious effect on life, he has become a target by environmental groups. One in particular, Greenwar, has vowed to make an example of him. Changeling is not really sure who they are. He only knows that they have been responsible for acts of eco-terrorism.

Recently he has begun to moonlight with a multinational security agency, where his talents have proven useful.

Personality Changeling loves to use his powers. He has, on occasion, found himself reverting to his normal form in some rather uncomfortable situations because he used all his energy. He is a practical joker and a voyer of sorts, and will use his powers to those effects. He is not a pervert, but a people watcher.
