Anyone else still here?

It might surprise you, but some of us actually don't have enough time to hang around here and post.

I've been extremely busy.

Well, it's been all fish and chips here.

Then again, I rather like it semi-quiet.

Well, I can understand that all of are busy it is just odd that we all are busy the same time.

It is still the holiday season for many people. I have been travelling a lot. Hawaii, Tahiti, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia. It gets to be exhausting.

I'm still alive...I think.

I'm still here, promise! Between spending Christmas and New Years abroad and the fundraising I've been doing for the start of 2009, I just haven't had a lot of free time. If anyone cares to know what's going on, my Webmaster does a good job of updating my op site, liberteen.op, but I promise promise to be around more as soon as I've got the time.

Liberteen, I have been board,and frustrated to the point of madness. I hate the legal codes. What I do is safe for me..But they say if I do it what would stop someone else from doing it..

Life keeps even the best of us entangled at times. I know my work schedule has been a bitch of late.

Still one more week of shooting and I should have some free time again.

Yeah, me too. And when I wasn't shooting I was out celebrating that I didn't get shot.

Well, I just it is some what lonely with all the truoble I have with my family.I just only notice the lonely parts...

Rehiring half of the half who had family members I didn't want to piss off.

Filling out forms.

Filling out applications.

Crying to my lawyer.

Begging my backers not to back out and bankrupt me.

Finding out I can't drink myself into a stupor at the end of a really tough day.

Crying.

Getting my act together.

Last week I almost died.

While at Mavericks, I had a nasty wipeout. The wave sucked up some backwash, and pitched on me. I was tossed off my board and into the path of a 30 foot wave. It drove me into the rocks at the bottom, which hurt, but was not life threatening. The problem was that the leash on my board had gotten wrapped around the rocks under the water. I was unable to get to the surface.

Even with my Nova strength, the bouyancy of the water prevented me from ripping free from the leash. I was drowning. The only thing that saved me from a watery grave was another wave. Just as I was blacking out, it knocked me loose. When my unconscious body surfaced, my buddies pulled me out of the water. I awoke, coughing up water, on shore, with a friend of mine giving me mouth to mouth.

I have been taking it easy for the last week or so.

Longball, that's pretty dramatic. Are you all right physically?

Aside from some bruises, I am alright. My lungs are also feeling much better. I will be back in action in another week or so.

Oh. If I told you what I think my problem is you would laugh. I bet then you would try to track me down to prove me wrong in your case. I think that would be cute,funny me and embracing to you.

I don't know if I'd call it silly. I have heard of people having one love, forever and ever, amen.

Ravenshire, sugar, all I'd say is don't let your desire to find "The One" blind you to happiness you may find on the way. Love grows when we share it.

I fully believe that nothing lasts forever. I don't see how love is exempt from that.

That of course isn't to say that companionship shouldn't be sought out. We are social creatures after all.

At least I won't be around to see it, so I live my life without thinking on it.
