Dispite the age similarity, Steve looks about Kirk's age and has hair.

This BTW was part of his eruption, the hair I mean.

Could this woman be Thetis? I think Steve and Andrew will need to be ready to confront the woman and possibly defend themselves.

As an alternative if Andrew can get an idea what the people this woman thinks are still around look like he can probably enter her delusion

Steve's line of reasoning was mostly posted, but I'll add the following. Just to get to this bunker she had to step over dozens to Billions of people... or put another way, we have extremely strong hints that she's dangerous.

Wait and give a dangerous person the chance to be dangerous, and chances are bad things will happen.

Cody, are you still around? If so I will let you handle the interrogation.

Everyone else, please come up with a list of things you want Cody to 'ask' the director. Unless you plan to drop her someplace other than this Earth Lorean will remain on this timeline until you are done with your questioning.

Questions:
1) What does the box with the button do.
2) What's in the two vials.
3) What's her name and history.
4) When where the gadgets moved into the room, and how long after the war started did she take a hammer to them?
5) Is there a cure for the sterility.
6) Who else is in Project Pro? Who did she give orders to? Who gave her orders? Who hired her? When?
7) What does she know of Max? What did Max know?

I'll give Cody until tonight to post the interrogation. He usually checks the board in the evenings I think.

Cody is going to try and catch up as quick as he can. I'm going to give him until Sat or Sun to post the interrogation. Meanwhile what do you guys want to do. We can say Cody is taking a while with the interrogation given her insanity and that you have a couple days downtime to pursue other things or relax.

Any suggestions as to what you guys might like to do while waiting on the interrogation to be completed?

Andrew will stay outside for a while and listen in on the conversations of the townsfolk. Their talk while the strangers are occupied by their leader may reveal something useful.

Unfortunately, the weekends are when I work fairly constantly...I will be able to catch up Saturday eveniing after work though...

Right now for instance I need to go meet my client...

Just a quick thought though..it may be wise to ask "Did you just lie" after each question..otherwise as Courier pointed out, she could get slippery..

Sounds good. I think our visit to the village will keep us occupied until then. Lorean can monitor her vitals to provide lie detection, but it will be a difficult interrogation due to her insanity. PM me with the questions you plan to ask and how you ask them and I'll pm you the responses, then you can put them together as a post.

Im still at work but on a break so I started catching up...Im on page 5 (of 7) now.....geez these pages are long! Much longer than Eon's page length.

More to come...

And thanks everyone for your patience. Life gets hectic for me. Also it may have something to do with the number of games I am playing in...

Anything else you guys want to do on the planet?

I'll give Cody until tomorrow to do the interrogation, otherwise I'll post something so we don't get bogged down. (If you can't get it by tomorrow you can always do your part of the interrogation as a fiction in a seperate category after the fact if you want.)

Steve will check the library and see if it has a CRC (that's the handbook of chemistry and physics... basically it's nature's bible). It's kind of a rare find outside of a lab. If it doesn't he'll have one printed and waiting for us, so when we warp out and he'll give it to someone local and say it's for the library.

Andrew here, I would assume that a CRC, USP Pharma, etc would have been standard reference texts to include in a chemistry lab ... granted they are about 50 years out of date for this timeline ...

As I recall we have a printing press on the Lorean for converting e-books to paper.

And while the CRC may be out of date, Nature's rules mostly don't change. Chemists are known to use their college books decades later without a worry. The current info may not be there, but what is there is still good.

The USP Parma is a slightly different story as we can find that drugs we thought were good ideas aren't.

Stormbringer has been picking over the remains of what's out there that he could find undamaged and unradiated. Most of his stuff came from places like New Zealand, and islands in the pacific, etc. He may not have found a good school type library. Course mostly I was giving Steve a chance to present Stormy with a present that would be very useful to them in the future.

Indeed, I still use my college Chem Eng books (rarely)

You are correct on USP though, methods come and go as much as drugs ...

Especially in the nova age. New drugs were coming out almost monthly that treated previously incurable ailments.

Steve is making a potentially serious error here by assuming that Lorean being behind the moon will protect us.

During the Trinity equiv of the hammersmith event aberrants (meaning us) had all kinds of things happen to them. Some gained or lost perm taint. Some of those quantum things might activate. We might have things happen to us. Etc.

Be a good time to spend experience. wink

On the other hand you could make the argument that we're already from after N-day so we're as changed as we get.

Btw, this would also be a good time to add new players if you know anyone that might be interested. Looks like we've lost Isabel and Marcus. And Alejandro never really got started before disappearing. Hopefully Cody will be rejoining us as he is able, but I think we are down to 3 regulars again.

I'll also advertise for new players as we'll be starting a new chapter.

Just for the record, I am enjoying having you guys in the game, and I hope you are enjoying things.

Interesting. Perhaps this would be an excuse to get an out of theme power?

And we should post ads at WW.

That's a great idea. I can't get there from work though, that site is blocked out. I'll have to do that tomorrow unless you want to take care of it.

As for out of theme powers... sure, if you guys are going to be around during the Hammersmith event, that would be a great time for you to spend exp. In fact I may give you guys some nova points instead of handing out xp this time around. Not too many, but enough for you to get at least one new power. It would also be a great time for new characters to join as they could have erupted druing the event, or if they were members of the crew with the potential to errupt then that would surely do it. I would also allow the creation of a Psiad if someone wanted to do that.

Whew! I *am* here btw. RL has just been picking up for me a bit more. Catching up on the last 4 pages was alot but I *am* caught up. I do need to leave for work now, so I can't post anything IC yet.

I *am* enjoying the depth and scope of this game very much btw. Hopefully noone takes my absence persoanlly...I havent been able to post hardly at all in any of my other games either.

To be more specific i am in the process of reorganizing my life. I need to get more efficient with my time. To that end I am going to be compiling a bunch of notes for myself to make it easier for me to maintain my presence in the...many games i am in. Essentially I cant spend all day online like I used to so I need to streamline my process a bit and carve out dedicated (yet limited) time to come on, check in, and post. After work (or possibly during if I am not solid booked) I will post an update for Cody...I imagine he would not dream of missing the holocaust...how one could alow oneself to be distracted by entertainment knowing what was going on is beyond him...he would want to see it.

Any other ideas of what Cody should be doing right now? I may be able to write up something for th interrogation if people want me to....Cody's MO is to disorient the interogatee so their conscious mind is out of the way, then use powerful combo of mundane and quantum fueled hypnosis to assist with the interrogation...which also combines masterful mundane means with excruciating telepathy..in short Cody is the ultimate interrogation specialist...able to extract info at any level while leaving the physical form completely unscathed...

more later...shower and work now.

Hope everyone is enjoying springtime! (Best wishes!)

I'm very glad to hear that you are still going to be around. I understand how life can get busy. The biggest reason I'm able to post as much as I do right now is that I work nights and my shift is 12 hours long. Have to break that up a bit with this or I'd go stir crazy.

BTW, you are about to get your wish on visiting the Adventure era. We're gonna spy on the hammersmith event to find out what happened there and chat with Mercer to let him know about Thetis so he doesn't make that mistake again. That will be the at least the beginning of Chapter 4.

Anyway, if you want to post the interrogation it would be great if you could post it in the new topic I just created 'Our Story thus far, and wait till Morgan catches up to current events in his journal before posting.

Everyone,
If anyone would like a topic of their own for posting a character journal or fictions just let me know and I'll create it for you.

Nope. Sadly no bites. We have 4 active players which is more than enough, but ideally I'd love to have 6 active. I will make a big post either later today or tonight.

PS. Even though we are about to start the new chapter, I think I will hold off giving out xp/NPs until I actually make the Hammersmith event post. I doubt that will take too long to get to so be thinking about what you might want to spend it on.
