Hi! My name is Alex! I erupted last wednesday and boy is my brain tired!

Let's see what can I do.. You might be wondering so I will tell you what I know. I can fly pretty fast and I can pick up heavy things. No laser eyes or anything but I am so not going to complain!

So any of you have any tips for a nodenewb? grin

Well, depends on what you call a Tip Alex =D

We got a broad variety of people in this board, and not all of them agree with the rest all the time on what a node means and what rights/responsabilities it gives you or takes away.

What I can say is, enjoy it. You can fly and not many people can say they can do, just flying is cool you know?

Don't let people tell you what you "should" do with your powers. They are yours, if you want to use them for wathever you want, the better for you.

Make up your mind, and hey maybe one day you will appear in cereal boxes :p

Yes, have fun. And use your powers responsibly, but you don't need to hear that from a fifteen year old.

Also, I wonder if someday I will be distributed IN a cereal box.

Welcome to the boards, sugar. If you're ever in Miami, come see me.

As for hints... hire a lawyer or an agent to read over contracts for you, especially if you get into any kind of show business. They'll rape you, sweetie.

Mentioning rape, are you interested in the porn business? wink

Thanks for the tips!
Haven't really considered a career yet (porn included) I doubt my parents would sign a release waiver for that!

Not really thinking about being on a cereal box either. I thought maybe I could look into a job with Utopia or the Peace Corps over the summer.

I doubt either of those will want to keep you just "over the summer" Alex, believe me they are like working for a insurance company, before you know it you are selling insurance and you got here as a mail boy.

Josh Brickman talks wonders about DeVriest and not all of them are about going to war, why don't you take a look?

Well I am not looking to make a million dollars (yet) I just want to volunteer a little of my time to helping people. I dunno how I feel about elite work just yet.

Hi, Alex! smile Glad to make your acquaintance! I hope nova life is treating you well. Sounds like you got some really cool powers, too! I'd love to race sometimes, if you're up for it! grin

So, Alex, have you tried dropping pianos/anvils/safes/other large and heavy objects on people from a great height yet? Seriously, I bet they make a really satisfying splat....

Well, when you turn 18, you don't need their permission. That's also a great time to get in because you're young and fresh. Though that's less of a concern when you're a nova, as we retain our looks and youth better.

Anyway, if you decide to start in porn when you turn 18, let me know - I'll hook you up with a good agent and set you up on the best first film I can.

Attune yourself to the clues left by the True God and help me defeat the insane creator-God Yaldaboath. Only then will we all escape from the Black Iron Prison.

Or you could just, you know, sign some ad deals and make lots of money. Up to you.

If I am ever short of cash, I know who to call...

Speaking of jobs, I am in market for nova babysitter. Must have the ability to handle a four, almost five-year-old with the ability to get into tight space or high shelf without nova powers.
