Nova Data

Utopia data indicates that Ms. Ross has significant potential to develop Nova abilities. Given that as a researcher she is unlikely to encounter enough stress to trigger an eruption we believe that to trigger her latent abilities, she must be introduced to an environment that will cause an eruption. To do this in a safe and controlled manner and to engender positive feelings towards Project Utopia, the best course of action would be to put her in a situation that will excite her. I recommend finding a way to get her to travel to Robert Stevenson's resort island. It is hoped that the strange diversity of animal life there will be enough to excite her into an eruption. I would suspect that she has a disposition towards controlling animals but our tests show she has a reasonably high potential and could very well surprise us.

Personal File

Akaiska Ross has always been an intelligent girl. She was spotted at an early age as someone who would benefit from an accelerated curriculum. By the age of 16, she was finishing high school. We do not feel that any of the other events in her life prior to her high school graduation significantly influence our opinion of Ms. Ross in any way. Her college career is where we glean the most data.

Ms. Ross was accepted to NYU in 2002 where she would go on to study biology. Not surprisingly given her precocious nature, she excelled academically, graduating with the highest honors. More importantly, however, is the fact that even as a student several years younger than those around her, she was able to handle being on her own in New York. She was involved in several clubs while on campus and was eventually the president of S.I.T.E. (Students Improving the Environment) for her final two years. Despite her youth, she was able to effectively run the club for those two years and expanded the reach of the club's activities during that time.

One of her notable projects involved starting a fund. With this fund at the end of her involvement with the club, they were able to sponsor the purchase of a vast amount of undeveloped land in upstate New York. To do so, she had Agis Industries match their contribution, dollar for dollar. Word has it that the CEO, Douglas Gibbons, was so impressed with her efforts in this endeavor that he befriended her as the project progressed.

Following her graduation from NYU, she applied to and was accepted into the City University of New York's biology department for her doctoral studies. Her relationship with Mr. Gibbons was good enough at this point that it is known he wrote her a letter of recommendation for the school. It is unlikely that she needed any such recommendation based on her own merits but it is notable, none-the-less. We believe it likely that Mr. Gibbons maintains his relationship with Ms. Ross in the hope that he can recruit her to come work at Agis.

She completed her doctoral work and thesis at the end of this past semester. Once again, she excelled in her coursework and her thesis has been submitted for peer review. From sources inside the company, we are relatively confident that she will be tendered a position with Agis and given her close association with Mr. Gibbons for the past six years, there is no reason why she would not accept the offer.

From our time observing Ms. Ross, she has proven to be an individual of high integrity and moral character. She's obviously very bright and works very well with people in most capacities. We feel that her eruption into a Nova would provide us with an individual who would work very well in Project Utopia and she should be sought out and brought here as soon as is reasonably possible.

Just a note, if you would like to see her character sheet, just follow the link in my signature. I also started a character journal when I first played this character in a table top game that gives a little insight into the character.
