Hey all. I just thought I'd let you all know that I'm officially out of the hospital. I'll still be in Philadelphia another week or so while the investigation into the events surrounding Cyn's death are conducted (they're talking possible criminal negligence on my part for not stopping her sooner), so for now, I'm just staying at a hotel.

My recovery is going okay. Some of you stopped by and visited me at the hospital, and I wanted to thank everyone for the cards, flowers, words of encouragement, and the visits. It really helped.

I wouldn't dare say I'm "back to normal" just yet. I don't know that I'm ever going to be just the same as I was. I guess I still need to do some serious thinking about where to go from here, and how I feel about what I've done and how I'm going to resolve it with what I've been doing. Obviously, certain groups who will remain nameless are having a field day with this, calling me a murderer and a poor role model, and so on. So it's rough. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it up. Seems a shame to retire, but part of me feels like my public persona is shot. I don't know.

But hey, I'm still Brittany. I haven't become a whole other person, or anything. I've just got some new complications I need to deal with, and I guess I'll be a little askew until I do. Thanks to everyone.

I guess I just wanted to say I was back, but it turned into something way longer. Sorry.
