Damn, I hope this was going to turn into a list of our favorite Motley moments: "Aww, do you remember in Christmas'08, when she kept going on about the door again, and we all thought she was looking for the bathroom? Good times, good times."

Well, I would've done that, too, but those are in pretty short supply. I'm working on it!

I find half the fun of the character is just trying to translate.

Good to hear! I'll try to keep 'em interesting, but she's really only good in small doses.

She's more Gaiman-inspired than Malkavian, though.

A quote from Lewis Carroll. King Felix listed a few apparently unrelated topics for discussion drawn from Motley's previous statements. The quote mirrors that, and also implies that, as in Wonderland, not all is as it seems. Even the most innocent scenarios can turn threatening. (See the following.)

Again, a reference to Carroll. In "The Walrus and the Carpenter," the Walrus deceives the kindly Carpenter into leaving while the Walrus devours the innocent little oysters. A comparison is drawn (in this and the previous statements) between Felix and the Walrus, and also perhaps between Caramel and the Carpenter, who abandoned his charges. Motley wonders who, then, will be playing the part of the oysters.

Yes, she certainly does remind me a bit of Delirium. Although I don't want to draw parallels like between Felix and William Shatner but I certainly enjoy characters that leave the readers thinking.
