Hi, Vivi here. I made an "ST" character for Rev's Exalted game, but for some reason, I'm not allowed to include a space in my display name. I know I've done it before, and I can see it in other names, so I'm curious if this is intentional.

I ran into that same thing the other day when doing up the Sheriff WhiteElk post in Echoes of Thunder; it wouldn't permit a display name with a space... which is weird, since I have other characters with spaces.

It changed with one of the upgrades, so I'm not sure what's going on.

And damn... the avie alone is cool enough to want me to take a stab at the game.

Now that we can post as NPCs, not permitting the space prevents us from duplicating user names already in use (either on accident or purposefully).

For example I could not post as "Sean McCline", and if I tried it would have to read "Sean_McCline" and it would obviously show the user name as a fake. This is just my theory, considering it doesn't explain why new users can't use spaces.

During the last upgrade I changed it to not allow special characters. There were a few issues that needed to be addressed from a security standpoint. I fixed the issue and just haven't had time to restore it. It should be back to normal now.
