"Hai!"

Lily wheeled about and zoomed out the window Valerie departed from at 100kph, quickly scanning the courtyard outside and adjusting her course to intercept Val and Amaya as fast as possible.

When Lily and Georgi exit the building they see the two giant robots and now four giant Demons doing battle. beneath it all they see Valerie on her butt after having been knocked down from the recoil of her weapon. Thepack of hellhounds is moving fast across the yard towards her and towards Amaya and the unconscious Kai.

(I'll assume you meant Lily and George exiting the building :))

On seeing the tableau outside, Lily is momentarily brought up short to stare, aghast, at the robots and demons. Then she realizes that Amaya and Kai are in a bit of a spot themselves...

Too many just to take down at once, I'll have to try to distract them...

She powerdives towards the pursuing hounds, yelling some kind of challenge that's in neither English nor Japanese. Blue-white lances of fire streak from her outstretched hands and across the path of the hounds, ripping a line of explosions in front of them.

If that doesn't do it, I dunno what will, she thinks as she zooms towards the horrible creatures.

(OOC - Not sure if there's a mechanic for distracting or intimidating foes...feel free to roll what you feel is appropriate, or ask me for a roll and I shall deliver it unto thee)

Oh my god! Georgi was astonished at the scene that met him when he left the building. Giant robots were engaged in battle with humungous demons, while a pack of black, horse sized dogs bore down on sseveral students.

He crouched down, and quickly assembled his rifle. His speed and skill were remarkable, and it only took several seconds to complete. He spun the sights towards the moving pack of dogs, and began to fire.

The lances of blue light do little to discourage the hellhounds. For them ony their master can make them fear. However, combined with the sudden explosion of the head of another of their number does give them pause. It's at this time that the Cerebrus emerges from the door and howls a final time. only two new creatures join this time. A pair of silver-white wolves each about the size of a standard wolf appear at the back of the pack. Their solid blue eyes blaze for a moment and then they both seem to shimmer and disappear. One appears right in front of Lily, its massive fangs bared and attacks. The other is seen only for a moment as it runs into the building after Amaya, seeming to phase right into the wall.

((OOC Lily the Mech that was just summoned is a Circinus Federation machine. The same people waging war against the Dalaraan Empire in space.

(sigh...I have the worst luck with Invisible Castle...)

The recoil from the rapid series of blast shattered Valeries stability as her own scepter sent hurled her backwards with backlash from the force of the projectiles. She landed squarely on her butt on the asphalt pathway from one building to the other, but her marks had been hit.

In the daze from the explosion, Val took her sweet time trying to get up, and before she could realize it, a pack of horse sized black skinned hounds from hell was already circling her in a perfect predatory fashion. "Oh...I...hate this..." Val looked all around her, she was closed off from all sides, the predatory creatures coming nearer and nearer, in the last second Val smirks. "But I have to go." Vaulting in an invisible step before ascending in a zig-zag fashion between two walls, Valerie in almost an instant had covered a good portion upwards into the air and twisting in the air she aimed her wand low, right at the point she had just come from. "Stock, I really really hope you have it in you right now to pull it off..." Valerie seemed to be suspended in the air for a couple of seconds as she looked downwards, a glow starting on the tip of the Stock der Zaburei and increasing in brightness per the milisecond, until it looked like a small star had come down from the sky to illuminate the whole School yard, and then a great shine came on.

"Zerbricht......Sterne! 20% Size!" Valerie screamed it as she pointed downwards and a blast roughly 20 meter in every direction engulfed all of the Hellhounds on it's brightness, making it seem like Dawn had broken on the schoolfield before it subsided.

Looking visibly spent, Valerie once again is catapulted backwards from the force of her own weapons as she falls on her back near Amaya and Kai, smoking and more worn than she was a couple of seconds ago. "There it goes...Senpai." Valerie sits it out, only getting up when she realizes that the reason her Senpai is not answering her, is because she is faced with her own threat within the school.

The collection of Hellhounds vanishes for an instant, then two reappear along with the Cerebrus. Of the others only ash remains. The Cerebrus's three heads aligh and a Fireball forms between them and streaks out towards Valerie, but misses as she enters the building where Amaya had taken Kai.

Lily however has a much rougher time as The Phasewolf surges underneath and past her defenses to land a pair of brutal back to back slashes with its claws.

Lily's aura flares under the assault, and the monster's second swipe sends her into the wall, which cracks around her when she hits it. A single drop of glowing blue liquid plips to the ground from her wounds before they can draw shut.

A four foot long beam of light grows from her right hand as she pulls herself from the wall, glaring at the wolf demon.

"You're gonna regret that, little puppy."

Sword swinging almost too fast to see, she charges the demon-wolf!

GergI watches as the hell hounds vanish and reappear. The Cerebrus, however, stayed, and when it launched a fireball towards Valerie, he readjusted his sights to the Cerebrus. It missed it's first target, but now it will adjust to shoot at either him or Lily. Georgi had some cover, being prone, but not Lily, who was battling her own demons. Aiming at the closest of it's three massive heads, he fires.

Yhe phasewolf seems to shimmer as it dives beneath Lily's strikes with ease and lands two more attacks against her though this time the strikes are stronger. Behind her Georgi lines up for his own shot.

Flying at well over mach one, the shell leaves the barrel and easily flies straight into the barrel-like chest of the hellhound. The second shot fired an instant later missed due to a slight shift in the wind. As the Cerberus was lifted up by the impact it howled in pain. Its shadow lengthened and from it a sword stabbed straight into its neck. The second motion finished the job as Ariel came into view, pulling her sword from the neck out the side, decapitating the Cerberus.

For a brief moment the Phasewolf stopped. Then it grinned, baring all its gleaming teeth. "Now I can really have some fun. No more screwing around." Its silver fur seemed to shimmer and it seemed to have a haze about it now, like a picture that seemed slightly out of focus.

The phasewolf's attacks rip livid, luminous wounds that are visible through her increasingly shredded jacket and shirt. She twists away with a cry, holding onto her seriously gouged shoulder, then gives the demon a sour look.

"Okay...lets see how you deal with this..."

With that, she flies up into the air a good fifty feet and rains blasts of destructive energy down onto the Phasewolf!

He watches as Ariel slices the head of the cerebrus clean off. That was a waste of bullets, he thinks to himself as he shrugs his shoulders.

From behind him, he hears Lily cry out in pain. He spins around, slings the rifle across his back, and draws his submachine gun. By that time, Lily had flown into the sky and was pointing down at the Wolf. Georgi smiled as he ran towards the creature. As soon as he is in range, he will fire a burst at the creature.

(OOC: not sure how long these events will take. I will assume that he will get one burst off on the wolf. He has portable armory, extra action, superspeed, and lightning reflexes.)

The brilliant blue blasts seemed to pass through the Wolf, but they did no damage at all. The burst of machinegun fire however, caught him by suprise. Bullets hammered against his side, barely breaking the skin.

"YOU HIT ME?!?!?!" The question was roared in feral rage and The phasewolf vanished. It reappeared right behind Georgi, it's fangs glowing with brilliant purple energy. "I ll save you for later, to devour while you scream."

It raced in for the bite and sank its fangs into Georgi's side. Suddenly Georgi could feel the entire world start to slip away as purple energy engulfed him. Even his consciousness seemed to be fading.

((OOC Georgi the chest shot hurt it and made Ariel's attack possible by enlarging its shadow. The attack does thirty damage. Roll me a body check and a shock check.)))

"Damnit!" Lily swears. Her wounds are still slowly coming back together, but her protective aura is all but depleted. She doesn't dare go back into hand to hand with the creature yet. It's just too fast, even for her.

"Hey! Don't forget about me!" she yells, firing another pair of blasts.

"Lily! Coach! Amaya-Senpai!" Valerie was stuck between two battles. On one side, Coach Georgi and Lily were facing a wolf like creature that seemed to effortleslly dodge their attacks. On the other, Amaya-Senpai was figthing another one like that alone while protecting Kai-Senpai.

"Uwuuuu...." Valerie didn't knew what to do, looking from one side to the other anxiously, both battles developing, but when both Lily, Coach Georgi and Amaya-Senpai were struck during the battle she snapped.

"STOP!" Valerie extended Stock der Zaburei, aligning it with the wolf-like creature. "STOP IT NOW!" Valerie blasted the creature that was threathening Amaya senpai so, almost immediatly she turned 180ª degrees and blasted the Wolf that was threathening Coach Georgi and Lily. Please take the bait, please take the bait and come for me instead of them!

The Purple energy forces Georgi into a state of dimesional limbo. Normally it's done so an enemy can be surrounded and destroyed with a barrage of massive firepower or so that the wolf can heal any serious wounds. In this case it was used to remove a threat in order to concentrate on others.

The Wolf turned around in time to see the hasty shot from within the building and shimmered and vanished. The energy washed straight through Georgi with seemingly no effect. It reappeared on the other side of the courtyard and looked skyward at Lily. "She'll be next after you. I turn that little witch inside out." It chuckled. "I'll make sure you're alive enough to watch."

Bolts of azure fire rained down around the silver creature but they never actually struck it. The wolf was simply moving too fast.

((OOC yes it does, but it won't be enough to stop the effect of the attack after reviewing your character sheet.)))

(Did any of Lily's shots hit the wolf? You're accounting for Georgi and Valerie's but I can't tell if any of that energy is from Lily. :))

Everything around him was a purple color. He could make out the shapes of Lily and the wolf, but it was as if he was seeing them through smoky glass. He could, however, speak, hear, and smell. His wounds were healing normally as well.

Georgi knew that if someone didn't get him out of this 'place', he might be there indefinitely. He focused all his energy, mind and body, into breaking free.

(((OOC Georgi you're in the "dimensional limbo" for 3 rounds, then the effect wears off. you cannot attack or be harmed while there. Your regeneration and other abilities work as normal though. This simply removes you from combat as a viable threat.

I realize that there are no constants in hitting and missing these creatures and that it does seem incredibly hard to do so. The variance is due to the list of dice-rolls I have. the hits have been when the roll was very low. These monsters are hard to hit, but only require three to four decent hits to take down.)))

Uh oh...could these things fly? Obviously they followed very different rules than anything Lily was used to fighting. Her force field was nearly regenerated though and the nasty wounds the thing had inflicted were closing. If she could only anticipate the thing's flickering somehow...

Experimentally, Lily launches another blast, then waits for a moment before sending a second one at the creature, varying her timing in an effort to score a hit.

The first blast missed the phasewolf, bu the second caught it full on in the ribs. everyone heard a cracking sound as it howled/roared in pain. Crimson blood fell beneath the phasewolf wihch promptly vanished from sight. Lily barely had time to react as claws tore into her side. The wolf vanished again, and then she felt its paws slam into her shoulders sending her plummeting to the ground below.

As she fell She saw the Phasewolf beneath her his mouth open and electricity gathering there. The bolt of silver lightning streaked past her as she fell and hit the ground hard.

"You're the first person to ever dodge the final blow of that maneuver, you will be the last." The wolf began stalking over to her, wary of his injured prey. Victory was assured, but better to be safe. The young female still had allies about.

Lily emits a startled shriek as the wolf mauls her in midair and sends her back down to the pavement hard enough to leave a concave, cracked crater where she landed. Groaning, she manages to lean to the side and spit out a mouthful of glowing blue blood. Her coat is in torn shreds and her clothes have huge rents in them, through which livid wounds ooze yet more blood. Though the wounds are healing visibly, it's far slower than how fast the demon is hurting her.

Still, impossibly, Lily picks herself up, aura flaring back to life as she coughs and wipes her mouth with the back of her hand. She glares at the demon with something that might be resoluteness, or just plain stubbornness.

"I don't know what you are, or where you came from, but I have a mission to do, and I won't back down. Even if I die, I will die protecting the Key so that my mission can be achieved; the Empire reunited with Earth our ally! I won't abandon them now!"

She grins a terrible grin through the streaks of blood streaming down her face, and a blade of pure blue-white light appears from each of her hands.

"SO COME FOR ME, IF YOU DARE!"

Ariel steps out from a shadow a little ways behind the wolf demon. She stands sideways and holds her arm out towards the wolf. In her hand is an object that diverts vision away, but is barely visible. It is a straight wakizashi, and another was in her other hand. "Demon!" She called out, demanding its attention and drawing threat away from the injured student. "You have bigger things to worry about than her, because.. " She turned so that her entire body was facing it, than seemed to fall into her fighting stance. "..I am going to kill you, and any other like you." Her voice was cold and threatening.

Valerie saw how the wolves were decimating her classmates, Lily didn't look like she could hold on much longer, while Coach was like a purple statue right now. On the other hand, Amaya-Senpai and Kai-Senpai and Ryo-kun where in BIG trouble, Valerie shifted up her Defensive field, it had regenerated it's power up until now, but this things struck too hard for it to last long, this had to end fast.

"Lily! Amaya-Senpai!" Valerie channeled the ambient magical energy through the capacitors on the SdZ, the steady and almost imperceptible hum rising to a pitch as the first blast came out almost immediatly, the second blast following it doggedly, both going for the creature attacking and trying to kill Lily. Valerie then ran, securing the SdZ, she launched herself between her classmaters and the wolf creature, taking up the stance of before, and launching a powerful Axe-kick.

The threatening tone gave the wolf pause. He felt the oddness in this newcomer as he prepared to finish off his first prey. He turned to face the new threat just as the first slash bit into his side. He dodged the second slash and was about to remove this little pest from the dimension when he was engulved in an energy blast. The second one follows an instant behind it.

The phasewolf howls in pain as the fur on its right side burns away, and several ribs shatter under the impact of the blasts. Blood stains the grass and the its silver fur crimson. It's voice is guttural, evidencing its extreme pain. "Not yet, I won't die yet!"

Its silver aura flares up and it leaps at Lily. "If I go, you are coming with me little girl." Its fangs radiated with hellish black energy as it went in for the final blow. The first energy blade impacted his jaw, shattering it completely. The second one was far more dramatic. Lily shoved the blade up to her palm into the chest of the phasewolf and it poked out the back through a small hole. It coughed blood once. "Goodbye Brother." The Phasewolf fell limp to the ground, sdefeated and slain.

Rather than yank the energy sword from the dead demon's heart, Lily lets it dissipate. The immediate heat of the moment past, she sags a little as the pain and weariness take their toll. Even so, she turns around towards Ariel and Valerie and nods gratefully.

"Thanks," she says sincerely.

Then she remembers Georgi and exclaims, "Coach!" She hurries to his side as fast as she can...a sort of limping jog...and scowls at the force field around him.

"Valerie...Ariel...do you guys know where Kai is? We have to get to him!"

Just as Georgi was being released from dimensional Stasis the second phasewolf appeared over the fallen body of its companion. "Brother..." the last sylable of the word elongated and turned into a mournful howl. When it finished they could all hear as it bit into the fallen phasewolf, digging through it's chest and when if finally withdrew it's blood coated snout they could see the remnants of the
