Lily nods and smiles.

"I understand. He's why we're all here, after all. Say hi to him for me, okay?"

Saito looks at his companions.

"So I take it that we shall be seperating into two groups? One to stay here with Mr. Morisato and one to join Miss Lily?"

Georgi didn't know what to say about the UN mandating the existence of this quazi-military organiation, much less the nations of Russia, US, UK and others who sanction it. That Russia would hand over Sergei to work for this group was wrong..very wrong. Russia had courts martaled Sergie for violence towards captives. Given the information he was learning from Lily, he would have to make sure that the beastly Sergei did no harm to her.

"I will volunteer to go with her Royal Highness, Lily." Georgi had said 'Highness' as if in jest, a slight grin coming across his face. "If Sergei is anywhere near here, he might take a shot at Lily. I know his capabilities and what he is." He is...like me, but I am not like him.

Lily rolls her eyes a bit theatrically, but nods.

"I'm glad to have you along, but if you call me that again, I'll punt you into orbit." She grins.

"Anyway, Sergei would have to be pretty heavily armed to threaten me with 'a shot.' I'm not human, you know."

After giving Lily a knowing chuckle, he moved to stand next to her. Coach Illiyev was not going to let her dismiss the threat posed by Sergei.

He leans in and quietly says to her. "Sergei is human like I am human. We are..from the same program."

Lily gives Georgi an assessing look, then smiles.

"Yeah? Well...I bet I could take you." She fakes a couple of punches at him, then turns to look at the others there.

"Who else wants to come with me, and who wants to go with Amaya to see Kai?"

He smiles longingly at her jest jousts, and quips back "That will have to wait until another time. Now is not the time for us to tear our arms off and start beating eachother with them."

He stands next to Lily, his mind going over possible combat scenarios with Sergei, should combat happen. With Sergei, it would almost be inevitable. Can I even kill him? Will he even be able to kill me? Both of us could fight eachother for a week and get nowhere. There had to be a way to stop him.

Captain Bordeaux watches the small group with pleasure. That they could still show such mirth at a time like this was good. Things could get bad quickly, and would if the others got wind of what was going on. She opened a private channel to Shibaksuka.

"Pops, I need the Blu Duel ready,, as well as the Meteor and Zinv. We have a priority alpha mission and it is on extreme discreet."

"I know Jean-Marie, I have already made sure you are all armed and prepped for launch."

"So you knew We'd say yes?"

"I knew you would."

"You are such a dirty old man.."

"Someone has to be, Oh and tell Saito his machine has been modified some. Evidently he tripped something in it earlier and one of its routines activated. I gotta say, it looks much better now. Shibaksuka out."

She turns to Lily, Saito, Georgi and Amane. "Well it seems our rides are ready, are you all ready to go? Oh and Saito, It seems you tripped one of your machine's subsystems, To a new and suprising effect. I'm told it should make you happy."

Lily nods smartly. "Hai!"

Saito looks slightly confused.

"Thats strange, I thought that I was well aware of all of the Meteors systems and subsystems".

"If her 'Highness' is ready?" Georgi was smiling broadly as he winked at Lily, indicating that her royal bloodline would be a constant source of humor for him.

I wonder what sort of rides we're are going to be in, and whether I can pilot it. He hoped that their 'hosts' behaved themselves. He didn't want to requisition their ride from Satoshi to get them away to safety.

Val scurried over to Amaya. "I..I prefer to go check up on Kai-Senpai first." Val fidgeted with her skirt, looking down to the floor. "I..I hope you don't mind Lily...will you?"

Val looked at Lily a bit ashamed of being selfish when Lily seems to need so much help. "Ne?"

Lily shakes her head.

"I don't mind, Valerie. Kai needs help too...probably even more than I do. You two take good care of him."

Amaya nodded, taking Valerie's hand. "We'll make sure he's ok," she said softly, and there was more than a promise there; there was an oath in those words, a rock-hard determination to do exactly that.

"Good luck, Lily." I think you'll need it.

Captain Ishiyama nodded. Seemingly from nowhere, Kiriko appeared. "Kiriko, take Kongou, Valerie, and Amaya to see Kai. The others will be leaving for a different destination. See to our guests as best you can and do noot hesitate to call for aid should the task become greater than what you can handle." She nodded and lead the two students and Teacher to the hospital ward where Kai and Atsushi were in Silence.

Kai was sitting there talking to President Hayami. When Hayami's eyes drifted to the door Kai stopped and turned, following his gaze. His face brightened and his usual smile appeared on his face. "Amaya, Valerie, Mr. Kongou! How are you all doing?" To the three there it semmed as if the events of yesterday simply hadn't happened for Kai.

Amane led the other group to the Hangar. Next to the Null-Viper stood the new and improved Meteor. Many of it's rounded edges were gone, replaced with the sharper edged armor resembling The machine two slots down. Beyond the Meteor was Shin Getter, Towering over all the machines, even in a crouched position. Beside it was the Blu Duel, Captain Bordeaux's machine. To its left stood a new totally unseen before machine. It stood a good twenty meters tall and was solid gunmetal grey with the exception of a gold cover where it's mouth was and a golden crest that resembled in a small way a crown. It looked as though two giant tonfas had been attached to its forearms and the extened out over the large steelshod fists.

Amane looked to Pops who was going over a diagnostic of the machine. "is he really ready for action?"

"He sure is, Considering that Captain Nagare has business to attend to I was told to prepare Zinv for you to sortie in. The limiters are still there, but in every other way he's good to go. Just watch your sync ratio and you'll be fine."

It was the first time any of them had seen Amane act this way, she seemed genuinely excited at the prospect of piloting the mecha called Zinv.

Pops smiled like a proud father watching his son marry a good woman. he then produced a trio of combat flightsuits. He nodded to Lily, Georgi and Saito. "Here you'll want these and those.." he pointed to a trio of helmets."...Deep space isn't a forgiving place. These suits will be a self-contained environment for you, and they'll protect you from the Inertia and G-forces from the launch and any combat you may see."

The Suits he handed to Lily and Georgi were white with black trim and bore no unit patch. The one He handed to Saito however did bear the insignia of CRT-3 and The rank badge of Lieutenant. "Atsushi says you're going to also be representing us up there Saito. I couldn't make you a fully realized suit like Amane's but I promise when you come back I'll have you one worthy of Team Three's newest Lieutenant." Amane and Captain Bordeaux looked on at Saito with unhidden suprise. Captain Bordeaux walked over to him and laid a hand on his shoulder. Her husky voice was soft and low. "And just when were you planning on telling me Captain Hayami had already gotten his hooks into you young man? I was hoping to see you in action to see if you'd be a good person to have under me."

(((OOC The meteor now looks like Wing Gundam from Gundam Wing. Once this scene is finished the two group stories will proceed in different threads.)))

Valerie smiled at Kai. "Hai Senpai, we had a hard time finding you, you owe Amaya-Sempai a big thankyou for never giving up on you!" Val winked at Kai. "How are you feeling Senpai?"

Lily steps into her flight suit, just zipping it up over the jumpsuit she'd been provided with. As she settles the helmet over her head she suggests, "I'd like to signal ahead too...tell them we're coming and why. Plus we could get an escort once we're far enough out."

Saito looks at the flight suit provided to him by the chief mechanic.

"While I do appreciate the effort, if it is all the same to you sir, I would prefer to wear a regular flight suit for this mission. I accepted this mission as a friend and fellow studen council member of Miss Lily and I will continue to act in that capacity. Furthermore, I do not entirely trust the Satoshi Organization yet so I shall not be wearing your colors. Please I mean absolutely no disrespect but I am not comfortable wearing the uniform of an organization that until yesterday I had no idea existed.

"In addition, I am under orders to represent His Excellency Hayami on this mission and I will therefore be representing him as a member of the Student Council rather than a Satoshi employee."

Saito then turns to speak with Lily.

"Miss Lily, I accepted this mission to bring you home safely, would you permit me to be the one who escorts you back to your father?"

Saito gestures to the Meteor.

"Meteor is one of the fastest machines on Earth and I can outrun obstacles that we come across."

Staying close to Lily, Georgi slips himself into the flightsuit. He reattaches the submachinegun and holster to the outside of the combat suit. After checking for weapon functionality while in the suit, he gives Amane a knowing look. "I do have a pilots license, if you need help with the Zinv."

"I feel better than I have in years to be honest." Kai's voice is his normal happy one, lending credibility to the fact that it seems like he can't remember the events of last night.

"President Hayami says you watched over me when I got knocked out. Thank you Amaya." His eyes soften as he looks at his current girlfriend.

"How about all of you, are you all ok?"

Captain Shibaksuka looks at Saito. "Look Saito, all of us here are very aware you aren't a member of any CRT. President Hayami thought you might object so he asked me to explain it to you. You pilot a Machine that when its full potential is realized its every bit as powerful as Captain Bordeaux's Blu Duel or Captain Khirghiz's Verde Buster. Many of the higher-ups would question some student piloting such a machine when we have at least in their minds better more suitable pilots for it. So You wearing Team-3's insignia and An officer's badge is not just a show of his faith in you, his trust, but it's also his way of providing you a legitimate defense to any who ask of why you possess and Pilot the Meteor here."

He shrugs and smiles. "Personally I think that if anyone other than you tried to pilot the Meteor it would rearm it's Detonator system with a shorter timer. I really don't need that to happen in my hangar, so please if only for appearance's sake, don the suit."

Amane looked to Georgi with a Mischievous gleam in her eyes. "Are you kidding? I've been waiting five years to Sortie in Zinv here, ever since I found him on the moon. I've trained extensively to pilot the big man, but this will be the first time I really get to take him out." She smiles at him still any help may be nice."

Captain Bordeaux shook her head. "No Lily, we won't broadcast a signal until we close. If we broadcast too soon Satoshi and Khirghiz amy suicidally attack the ship, or worse, us. Considering the numbers of their troops, it would be bloody either way. The safest method is to not draw attention to ourselves."

Kongou looked around, his eyes stopping once he spots Kai. "So, Kai, how have you been treated? Well, I hope?" He smiles in what he hopes will be a comforting way, but the smile fails to reach his eyes. He glance around the room, and tries to keep all of the students in his sight at all times.

Lily nods at Bordeaux.

"This is really kind of confusing you know. It seems like Satoshi Industries could really benefit from some centralized leadership...as long as it wasn't from the faction that wants war, of course."

She then goes over to stand by Saito.

"I'm inclined to say yes, but...I just want to know first. Are you with Circinus? How did you get that mecha, and get it to work for you?"

Saito nods to Lily and begins to whisper in a low voice while looking around to make sure that no one is listening in on his conversation with Lily.

"I would rather not get into the specifics of how I came to own Meteor but I can tell you later just not here. I will tell you that I am not a member of the Circinus Federation."

"Okay, that's all I wanted to know," Lily says, equally quietly.

Then louder, "Lets go then!"

She follows Saito to the Meteor.

The Metoer was a fine machine, and Georgi had no doubt that Saito would protect Lily from harm. It was almost a relief that her safety was in someone else's hands...at least for a litle while. It would give Georgi the chance to focus on deling with the Sergei 'problem.'

Georgi gave a sigh of relief and looked at Lily. "Since you are going with Saito, I will travel with the leutenant." He motioned towards Amane and 'Zinv'.

I think Amane needs to be told the truth about Sergei. Being aboard Zinv with her would give him that opportunity.

Captain Bordeaux nods and her outfit changes into a silver and blue version of the flightsuit they now all wear. She steps onto the lift and rides it up and boards her machine, it's hatches and armor resealing after her. It's emerald eyes blaze and its armor shifts into it's blue and silver tones. Amane Takes Georgi by the hand and leads him up the catwalk to Zinv's cockpit and boards.

Unfortunately there is a slight problem, there is only a single elongated seat.

"I guess Zinv wasn't meant for two people. You go ahead and sit towards the back of the seat, I'll sit towards the front that way I can man the controls."

Saito climbs the ladder that leads to the maintenence platform for the Meteor and reaches the cockpit hatch. After pressing a series of buttons the Meteor's cockpit hatch opens to reveal the main pilot's seat, Saito flips another switch inside the cockpit which causes the main seat to fold down to reveal a secondary cockpit. Saito gestures to Lily.

"Here you are Miss Lily".

Lily lightly hops in, gliding just a touch over the pilot's seat to settle in the secondary cockpit. She looks around appreciatively.

"Anything I can do from here to help?"

Kai nods. "Yeah they've been reall great to me here. They say I'll be back to 100 percent in about a day and then I'll be done with this place unless I don't want to be."

The Russian supersoldier sits in the elongated seat behind Amane. He watches as she goes through her pre-flight checks. After several minutes, he breaks the silence of the cockpit.

"What do you know of Sergei?"

Amane frowns. "I know He's been a Captain for awhile. He's an ace pilot and one of the only unbeaten warriors here. I know Captain Bordeaux was his Lieutenant until there was an incident. She was transferred out and made a Captain of one of the rebuilt CRT's. Generally nobody likes him and he's viewed as a wildcard. Only Captain Satoshi and Head Captain Hayami can reign him in without resorting to violence."

"He used to be a supersoldier in the Russian Military, but once they signed on he was dumped on us as a liason. If not for his sterling combat record and his status as a liason, he'd be removed from the roster for his behavior."

Her frowns deepens. "I heard he actually threatened Saito and locked him up with his targeting system."

Georgi was doing his best to keep his emotions under control. The Russinas put everyone in jeopardy when they didn't 'discontinue' Sergei. What was worse, was that they foisted him onto Satoshi Heavy Industries. Now he was in a position of power...again. Amane needed to know the truth.

"I know Sergei because he and I....were in the same supersoldier program in the Russian Military. What you don't know is that he was court martialed for abusing prisoners." He let that bit of information sink in before continuing. "He was so explosively violent and cruel that the people in charge of the program were ordered to take him 'offline'. They speculated that something went wrong with his conditioning. Whatever the problem, he can and will, turn on his allies."

Georgi voice shuddered with anger. "He is not supposed to be functioning! He should have been eliminated years ago!"

Saito begins Meteor's start-up procedure.

"If you want, you can monitor the radar and communications equipment".

She nods "I see. I'll try to talk to the Captains, but for right now he obeys Takashi and enjoys his support and protection."

"Captain Bordeaux's voice rings out as Amane clutches the controls and starts to move Zinv forward. "Alright everyone follow me to the Dimensional catapult Let's go and extend the olive branch of peace." The Blu Duel begins walking away, its heavy steps rattling the bay. Amane waits for Saito to fall in behind Captain Bordeaux before taking up the rear position in Zinv.

"I'll warn you now, this is gonna feel weird."
